In my 5 years of being a part of the Yelp Elite Squad, I cannot even believe that I've never done a review for Ledo Pizza. Let me tell you something. Ledo has been around ever since I was a young girl. It brings back such good memories because my whole family loved Ledo and to this day I might add, we still do. I don't know maybe it's the unusual thin crust, or the fact that Ledo Pizza is square and not round. The sauce is like going home...it's always the same and it always makes me happy. Today I was actually so hungry and I figured why not go for it? It's a Friday after all! They did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh, the mushrooms and the Italian sausage was delish and the red onions were just the icing on the cake. If you have never tried Ledo Pizza, you are doing yourself a big big disservice so get on out there and order a pizza from Ledo. My favorite location by the way is the one on Lanham Severn Rd. Moving to MD from NEPA, where our sicilian-old forge styled pizza is a gift from foodie gods, I am very picky when it comes to delicious pizza. Ledo's pizza is a very different version of square pizza than I am used to, but a very enjoyable eat! I give this location specifically 4stars because I have had issues at their other locations getting orders wrong, skimping on toppings, or just taking an immense amount of time. This location has always had the right amount of toppings, with delicious creamy sauce, and nicely browned cheese. I arrived a little before my allotted time and pizza was piping hot and ready to go!  The staff was friendly and the pizza was it's normal deliciousness in a box! read more

I ordered a small pizza and came to pick it up on June 19th. The sign on the door said that masks are required, YET the guy behind the counter did not have one on. I said hello but he waited until he finished doing whatever he was doing before speaking to me. I asked if I should come back and he said yes. What ?! Anyhow, I came back in 5 mins and waited while he was doing something else, then proceeded to answer the phone and do another few things before helping me and a person behind me. Worst customer service ever! After specifically asking this restaurant to NOT burn the cheese on the pizza and clearly telling the manager of all people that I did not want the cheese burnt I still got a burn and greasy pizza that certainly lacked extra cheese. When I asked them to remake it and compensate me since I had to come back to their restaurant they said I can remake or give your money back. No real recognition for their mistak or the fact that I would have to come back there during COVID! The only Ledo's I'll ever go to (Lanham-Seabrook). Consistently the best pizza for over 20 years. Also the best subs anywhere. Dont even go to any of the other ones, because theyre not the same. If theyre slow when you call, it's okay. Just wait because it's worth it. By far one of my top favorite pizza restaurants! Any time I come to Maryland, it's a must I order a pizza from Ledo's. First off, the venue is a bit small and I've honestly never paid too much attention to the inside because I always take out. But I must say the venue is a bit dirty but I overlook that because the pizza is so good. The pizza comes as a rectangular shaped flatbread. My favorite flavor is the Hot-lanta. It's has a mustardy sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, large pieces of bacon and spicy jalapeños. It's sooo good! The crust is thin and crunchy and the pieces are cut into small squares. It's a very light pizza and before you know it you'll have already eaten 5+ pieces or... maybe that's just me ;) My review doesn't do this pizza justice. The cashier was nice - that's the only good thing i have to say about this particular Ledo's. Haven't been to this Ledo's in years, but decided to pick up a couple of salads for the fam. The Hot Chicken salad should have the word chicken completely removed from it. My Garden salad w/ chicken (an add'l $2) was very disappointing as well - again due to the lack of chicken. Before they built the Ledo's Pizza on MLK, this was my go to place to get the best take-out pizza in the area. I never have an issue when I decide to go back to my oldie, but goodie location. I called in an order and was quoted a 15 minute wait time. I arrived a little before 15 minutes and my pizza was piping hot and ready to go! Just made a phone call to this location. I called a few times when they finally picked up they left it off the hook so i waited thinking maybe they were with a customer. I try to post good reviews about places but in the background i heard someone ask how many orders we have left i heard a guy say "im trying to finish up but these MoFos keep calling thats why i left the phone off the hook." It's Christmas Eve and i called at 1817 Est. They're local website says they're open today until 10. If they wasn't taking anymore orders all they had to do is pick up the phone and say that. NOT COVID SAFETY COMPLIANT! RUDE STAFF! I ordered 3 pizzas from this location via phone and went to pick them up. When I arrived, the pizza wasn't ready yet (I was early) so I paid and waited inside. From the time I arrived, there was a guy hanging out in the front area of the store (I didn't pay him much mind at first). A young lady behind the counter processed my payment. Once I paid and was waiting for my pizza, the guy who was hanging out proceeded back behind the counter, and into the kitchen/food area, with his mask around his chin. This is when I realized he was a staff member. I felt uncomfortable that he was in the food area without properly wearing a mask -- but assumed he was returning from a break, and gave him a few minutes to pull himself together (I gave him the benefit of the doubt). After a few minutes passed and he still had not corrected his mask, I asked gently if he would please wear his mask properly in the food area, as I felt super uncomfortable. He did not hear me at first, but the young lady who had checked me out got his attention and I repeated myself. At first, he responded with, "Why, you're all the way over there?" (I was across the room from him at the time). I explained that did not matter, as he was in the area where food was being prepared. He huffed very loudly and said "OH MY GOSH" then proceeded to pull his mask up over his mouth in an agitated manner, still leaving his nose exposed. I was appalled that he would respond in such a rude manner, when I had asked gently, and I'm sure a proper face covering is required by his job. I demanded that my money be refunded because, honestly, I no longer wanted my food (which had been prepared in the area where he did not wear his mask). He tried to give me a half-baked apology, and asked if I was sure I wanted a refund because my food was ready. I declined the food, and repeated that I wanted my money back. With an attitude, he proceeded to give me a refund, and I left empty-handed. Absolutely ridiculous! I don't expect to be treated in such a rude manner anywhere I spend my money. I also don't expect a food business to operate this way in a pandemic. Prior to leaving, I had requested to speak to a manager, but was told that the manager was not there. Also, neither employee (the rude guy or young lady who rung me up) would give me the manager's name or phone number; the rude guy wouldn't give me his name either. I am a frequent customer or WAS a frequent customer of this Ledo Pizza location. Last week, I ordered 2 pizza's and an order of wings. The pizza was good as always. I asked for my wings to be fried hard. When I got home, I discovered the wings were undercooked and the skin on the wings were not edible. I called and spoke with a man by the name of Spearman and explained to him what happened. He told me he would give me 20% off the wings. What? Instead of replacing the wings. I told him the wings should be replaced. He told me to visit the store the following week. I called the store today and after being on hold for over 6 min. I hung up and called back and spoke to Mr. Spearman. I refreshed his memory and he told me I can come in and get the wings and then gave me a total. I asked him why am I being charged for wings that I purchased and was not made how I wanted them to be and were not edible. He asked where were the wings. I told him they were discarded because why would I keep undercooked wings in my fridge and store them until I come back to the store? I then asked for the owner and Mr. Spearman identified himself as such. This black owner in a black and brown neighborhood REFUSED to make me another order of wings just because I can't produce the ones that was made for me. He then went on to tell me that he just purchased an item from Target and he kept it until he was ready to take it back. I said sir that is not a perishable items. He, the owner of this black business debated me, the consumer on what he does instead of being a professional business owner and fixing the wrong. I WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS LEDO'S. I WILL TELL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING. YOU LOST A CUSTOMER, A FREQUENT CUSTOMER B/C YOU REFUSE TO DO THE RIGHT THING. Mmmmm. This is a review for 2 deliveries of Ledo pizza. We ordered the cheese, the pepperoni + sausage, and the veggie pizzas one day for a lunch meeting and ordered Ledo's again the next day.The pepperoni and sausage pizza was great! The pizzas are an odd rectangular shape, but that's aight. The bread was different... more of a pastry crust than a pizza crust. Visited this location for the first time and decided to dine-in. The woman working the take out area acted like she wasn't thrilled to be there (was not very friendly either). She told us to the right and seat ourselves. 5 out of the 6 seating areas/tables available were not clean. There were crumbs on the seats and tables as well as beverage residue from cups on the tables. We sat at the one clean table and we were never acknowledged by anyone working the area. After waiting and feeling ignored we left and went to another restaurant. I would not return or recommend this location. read more

I have always loved Ledo pizza. The sauce and crust are different from any other pizza chain that I have ever tried and it is the best. The crust is light and flaky and not dry or like dust. I love the rectangular shape as well and the middle, crustless pieces are the best. The service here was good and they always seem busy with takeout orders but you don't have to wait very long. Went to this location today (12/23/2020) about 3:15pm and my order price was approximately $44.00. I do not know what I was charged for because my receipt was not given to me, even though I ask for one. I was told they only go by names. The person that waited on me was a tall brown skin male on the left register. Even if you are not given a receipt when you place your order, there is usually a receipt on your box when you pick up your order. I think you should always give a receipt, especially if a customer request one. This has been my experience with all of the other Ledo's in the area, even though they may not be owned by the same person. My order was 1small, 1 medium pizza and two calzones. Both calzones was for the meat lovers. One was without pepperoni, but substitute sausage, the other was all of the meats but lite sauce and add onions. I also ask if the boxes could be marked appropriately for the special order. My daughter went in to pick up my order. On the way home, I noticed the boxes were not marked. I called back to the store and got the young man that took my order. I first asked if I had reached the store where the Shoopers is located. He was playing on the phone and kept indicating that I had reached the store in Seabrook. I told him why I was calling and he started making jokes again and saying the boxes were marked on the end. I told him that there were no markings on the boxes. I again I asked him which store I had called, he then said "oh I think you have the wrong store I guess you should give me an apology". At this time I just hung up because I don't have time to be playing with young adults. When I got home we proceeded to cut open the unknown calzones. One was correct without the pepperoni and substituted sausage. The other one which was mine, was suppose to have lite sauce was filled with nothing but sauce, about 4 pieces of pepperoni, no meatballs, a few pieces of sausage and tons of onion. I think they totally forgot the cheese. This was the worst calzone I have ever received. This was my fIrst and last time coming to this Ledo's. I think I am done with Ledo's. read more

If you're ordering pizza it will suffice. However, I do not recommend ordering the calzone from this location. The preparation is sub par to what I'm accustomed to at other locations. They give you a big rectangle but half of the rectangle is simply flat bread and does not contain meat throughout. If I wanted flatbread I wouldn't order a calzone. This is unacceptable to me. If you are a calzone person you may want consider ordering from the one on MLK as theirs is filled properly, just be prepared for an extended wait. read more

After trying to be good and opting for the grilled chicken salad opposed to the steak and cheese or pepperoni pizza that I love, I must say I was disappointed. : ( In the past I have ordered the grilled chicken salad with no bacon but this time the strips of strips of grilled chicken were so small and almost burnt. As a MD native and former PG County resident, I've been eating Ledo's Pizza for almost 3 decades now. This was my first (and probably last) time at this particular location. Hoping to grab a quick meal before watching my Washington area football team on MNF, we stopped here after calling in our simple order: half cheese, half sausage and pepperoni. First indication that something was wrong was the fact that we were made to wait another 10-15 minutes after arriving at the counter. Now that would probably be a little long if we hadn't called in our order at LEAST 15 minutes to arriving. For the record I've never once had to wait that long at a Ledo's pickup counter before. We'd find out why later. After taking the pizza away, hurrying to the stadium, and diving into it in the car, the pizza tasted SOGGY and UNDERCOOKED. Undercooking a thin crust is incompetent, sloppy, and criminal in my opinion. The working theory is that they forgot our order that we called in and tried to rush a new one out the door without telling us. On top of that, they threw off our timing and we ended up missing the first drive of the game. Not cool. If this is the level of service and competence to expect here, the manager and company should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid! read more

Ledo Pizza makes the best, absolutely the best pizza anywhere. I love pizza, and there are lots of good pizza places around, but no one tops Ledo. They are generous with the sauce and the toppings, and there are so many toppings to choose from. The crusts are always perfect. the person on the phone taking orders was so rude and complained the entire time about having to do his job. (I had 2 orders btw, not even a big one). Then 90 min later my delivery shows up and the driver has zero change and tells me i'll need to call the store cuz he doesn't know what to do. I call the store back and the rude man answers again telling me to give the driver my cash and he will come back with the change?!? Ummm like I really trust this guy. Then I say i'll justpay with the card over the phone instead, and again got major attitude cuz the rude man had to add my 2 orders together.
