They asked for times I would be available for a free estimate. I sent them my entire weeks schedule. I kept receiving return text saying " If not interested reply stop". I replied I sent you my schedule already. They eventually made an appointment for 10:30 the next day. It is now 2 1/2 late. I would truly advise checking a different company. If they can't even show up to get business, I imagine their response after installation and they have your money would be horrible and based on other reviews I'm probably correct. read more

As a part of the gutters we paid thousands of dollars to have Gutter Helmet install they said we also needed to have diverters installed at the end of the roof valleys. Everything seemed fine until the diverters collected debris and now there are plants growing out of them on top of the gutters. After calling Gutter Helmet several times I finally was able to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to look at it and was informed it was not covered under the warranty and I would have to pay to have the debris removed and cleaned. Although the diverters were installed by Gutter Helmet and sit on top of the gutters they are not covered under the warranty. It took over a week for me to reach Gutter Helmet to schedule the service which I had to pay for in advance and was then told it would take 4 weeks for them to schedule the service. Their alleged lifetime warranty is not what it seems and their customer service is absolutely horrible. I do not recommend this company, they're terrible. read more

I purchased Gutter Helmet in 2018. Large Pine trees near my home shed a lot of needles, which is why I got it. The contract states that they can come yearly to evaluate and clean the corners near the downspouts, if necessary. They did so at year 2 and 4. After that, something changed. Customer Service is non-existent. You can't talk to a person, only their AI Agent/Bot. They do not return calls. At year 8, I discovered water under + behind the gutter above a window, which allowed me to see it from inside. So I scheduled a visit, since they hadn't been here in 4 years. I had an appointment 1/19 which THEY cancelled. When they were supposed to come a week later, they rescheduled. I was put off 2 months till 4/20, as nothing available, and they no showed: no call, no show. They claimed they had no openings and put me off till 5/28. I called the day prior to confirm and only got the BOT. I left a detailed message explaining I was to travel 2 hours to get there and wanted reassurance the serviceman would show up. The BOT understood, repeated it back to me, and promised a return call, which NEVER CAME! I drove 2 hours home, and the serviceman again did not come: no call, no show. A full week later, and I have not heard from the company - thus this heartfelt review of disappointment and frustration. I have an issue, and you can't even speak to someone. When you finally get an appointment, it seems meaningless when they blow you off 4 times over 6 months, and keep putting you at the bottom of the list. Six months later, my issue remains. This is not customer service. There is no follow up. I remain frustrated. I purchased Gutter Helmet 8 years ago to avoid these issues!!! read more

I had my gutter guards installed in April 2022 and have been happy with them. A few weeks ago, I found a piece on my deck that had fallen off a gutter during a storm. Over the past two weeks, I have written several emails, requested help through the Chat function on their website, and called a customer service number that had a full mailbox. I did not receive a response from any of these attempts to reach them about this small repair. I gave them fair warning in my emails that although I hoped it would not be necessary, I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if I did not hear back from them. Having heard nothing, two days ago I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Within 30 minutes the BBB sent me an email with a case number and told me that they had forwarded my complaint to the company. By the end of the day, I received a text from Lednor Home Solutions that someone would be coming out today, Thursday, 7/31. The fellow showed up, identified the piece as an end cap, and fixed the problem within a few minutes. He gave me his business card in case I have any additional problems. Fingers crossed that I will not. Prior to this experience, I would have given them a better review but their communication in getting the problem resolved was non-existent. read more

Purchased Gutter Helmet years ago, & initially we were pleased. But after constant overflow/ clogging problems,we contacted them several times.(They don't return phone calls.) When we finally reached them , they sent someone out who claimed he couldn't do the job, but would send someone who would. They didn't!! Now they are trying to make us pay a service charge. for their faulty product. They promised a manager would call in 72 Hours, One WEEK Ago!! So terrible how they don't do what they said they would, and there is nothing you can do about it.Sad face!! read more

I would absolutely not recommend Gutter Helmet by Lednor Home Solutions in Mount Laurel New Jersey. After some flooding in my home, it was clear that part of the issue was a lack of gutters on my roofline. I called Gutter Helmet and within a day the Rep, Bill was at my door. He took measurements and discussed their product and in the next day or two we had the quote in hand. We weighed out options as we had 3 different companies come out, and decided we'd go with Gutter Helmet, only for the gutter portion, deferring the helmet (due to our budget) and we provided them with an $1100 deposit. That's when the trouble started. First problem, actually getting on the schedule for the install. It felt like this company just opened the week before, for several weeks being told, I'd be contacted by the office to get a date. When you call the office, they either don't answer, or they tell you the only person who works there that can answer my questions is on vacation. Eventually they came out for the install, we paid the second installment of $1100 and off course left the job incomplete. They were supposed to test and seal the existing gutters that weren't being replaced, which was not done and in two corners of my house the downspouts were left completely disconnected to the inground drains. It's now been weeks and weeks of getting the run around from the rep Bill and Deb, who I believe is the office coordinator. Again, not being able to get on the schedule to complete the work until we informed them, we would not be paying the final $1100 installment until all the work in the contract has been completed. Of course, Bill tells us a team is coming out last Friday and surprise, surprise, they did show up. Bottom line is, they're great company, up until the time you pay the initial deposit, then they transform into complete shite! I would absolutely recommend avoiding Gutter Helmet by Lednor Home Solutions in Mount Laurel New Jersey ( can't speak on their other franchise locations) for any work on your home. read more

We are pleased with our Gutter Helmet instalation. They were fast and courteous. Better then that a year or so later, we noticed a leaky gutter (dripping from the seam they supposedly repaired). We called and asked Gutter Hellmet to send someone to take a look at their repair. They sent Dan S. from LEDNOR HOME SOLUTIONS. He was friendly, courteous and eager to check out the 4 places we were experiencing problems. Although he did not fix the leaky seam due to it being corroded, he did brush off some roof debris from the other 2 places. The 4th place on the back of the house gutter he didn't touch as it was the section of gutter cover that had the holes in it for heavy overflow. The oak tree helicopter seeds were, and still are, stuck straight up out of the little holes. Dan said they will eventually blow off or decompose. They have been there since spring so I hope he is right. I thank Dan for at least making the effort to come and check it out. read more

Gutter Helmet called me more then once after I told them I am not interested and I'm on the do not call list. They were rude and argumentative with me so I posted here on this site, Yelp removed it. Definitely a very good experience. Easily scheduled and work was completed within two weeks. We had a small tornado come thru and ripped up our gutter helmet and a fascia siding also was ripped off. The installer did a beautiful job and cleaned up , totally pleased with the results. read more

Impossible to get a response when calling or on line. It took me five calls to finally get an appointment for someone to come out. Service person was not very pleasant. They do not back up their warranty. Always full of excuses why their product fails to do as advertised. read more

What a disappointment. After sitting through a four hour presentation with Lee ( on a week night nonetheless) to discuss choosing gutter helmet to redo our roof, we had high hope. Soon after we signed the contract with them, we started seeing some RED FLAGS: lack in communication, lack of follow through, delay in response, and the list goes on..... Fast forward to the day of the roof install and it was a DISASTER. They showed up with the wrong skylights and tried to convince us that they would work, the dumpster that was supposed to be delivered the day before was still not there, and they did not have enough shingles because they measured the roof wrong. It was a very frustrating experience having to deal with these people and having to waste our day supervising their crew and going back and forth with phone call with their supervisor to try to fix problems which we were told should be expected. Because of this entire debacle, they did not leave until 11pm which means that were stuck at home the whole time. The only positive thing about that day was the roofers, they did their jobs and the project manager Brian was respectful and tried his best to clean up the mess created by Lee, April and everyone else who were supposed to coordinate the process. Oh , I should mention that the debris are still sitting in our driveway 3 days later and we were told that they would have been picked up the net day- notice the pattern! I will never use Gutter Helmet for anything else. I know that I could've chosen any other companies and get better service and outcome. When choosing a contractor, I should have peace of mind and they did not provide that. They were unreliable, unaccountable for creating a stressful situation, and seemed to have no regards to clients' time and commitment to them. I hope I never have to use the warranty because this is an experience and company that I want to erase from my memory. read more

Do yourself a favor and *DO NOT USE* Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet if you're looking for a competent job, and an even semi-decent experience. Don't buy into any of the warm and fuzzy marketing messages they put out, or put much faith in the salesperson's description of how your roofing job will go! That was just a tall tale. Ours was literally a nightmare. The problems, non-responsiveness, refusal to accept responsibility and level of anger we had to endure for more than a year after dropping 16k on a roof that clearly WAS NOT done by well-trained roofing technicians. In fact, they were all essentially kids, who seemed to speak no English, so I was unable to communicate with them as the job was going on. Our experience involved so much more than what I can write here. And, It took over a year - under the threat of a lawsuit - just to actually get the roof finally done, after the job had been botched initially. That was the summer before last and I already have lost a shingle on the bottom row on the back of our house. Now, they now flat-out REFUSE to replace (I even have backup shingles) unless I let them up there to walk my whole roof again (ARE YOU SERIOUS?!) and THEN they'd "talk" to me about the shingle. This last, clearly just an attempt to find more to fix than necessary and increase their revenue on the job. They are all about 'quantity' not 'quality,' and they brag about their 'turnover' rate which bears this out. Also, if you're looking for actually helpful customer service, I wouldn't hold your breath. I tried reasoning. They were unreasonable. They simply wouldn't live up to their "promises" to treat us like family. Nor did they evidence many, if any, of their own supposed company values. When they finally packed up after having to remove and re-shingle areas on our house, after the winter, they left pieces of roofing on the side of our garage and had obviously been using the side of our house all day as a urinal. Family Values Indeed! STAY AWAY from this (in my opinion) very very shady company. read more

Gutter Helmet did an awesome job with our house, they were prompt and very helpful with all aspects of the project.

I am happy with the finished result. I have a lot of roof, and they were on pace to finish the whole job in one day, but then they found out they brought the wrong size skylights, & had to come back the next day and finish up. Not sure why they didn't measure the old ones before sending the new ones! A couple of other small "oops"es were quickly fixed: one piece of siding that was damaged by debris was replaced & matches perfectly. Nail pops in the cathedral ceiling (from roofers walking on the exposed rafters) were repaired by a painter within a couple of days & I got a freshly painted ceiling out of the deal. Some ruts in the apron of the driveway left by the supply company truck needed to be tended to. Lee was prompt in addressing my concerns. All the workmen were courteous & cleaned up the place well at the end of the job. read more

Save yourself the aggravation and hire someone else. They guy who comes to your house will tell you any time frame for installation you want to hear. The reality is it takes 10-15 days after payment to even get on the schedule and they have around 30+ days to install. If you have a certain time line for repairs, then this is not the company for you. I'm still not on the schedule. read more

In preparation for a new roof, Gutter Helmet deinstalled Gutter Helmet gutter guards. After the new roof was completed, Gutter Helmet reinstalled gutter guards. There was a glitch with the reinstall, but Gutter Helmet made it right, and I am satisfied with the result. read more

Just had Gutter Helmet Systems installed and two days later heavy rains came and the system worked just as the salesman and installers said it would. Salesman was very knowledgeable and not pushy. The installers explained what they were going to do and when they saw some problems with my gutters they informed me of the problems and how they would correct the problems, just as the salesman said they would. The installers were knowledgeable quick and efficient and cleaned up after they were through. All things considered a very pleasant experience.
