My husband loves sweets and when we threw a party in my hometown this past weekend, the cake I had ordered just wasn't enough - so we headed to Joanna's to order a selection of treats. When we walked in, we were a little taken aback, as we're used to a "bakery" having huge display cases full of sweets and breads - not so here. BUT - don't be dismayed! We were quickly swept into a private room with a gentleman (I think the owner?) who sat down and asked us about what we wanted. Within 5 minutes, we had ordered (and sampled!) a delicious assortment of Italian cookies and pastries to pick up the next morning.
