Shattered clavicle, but they let me walk that night, so the next morning I was picked up by my brother in law from KC in a rental pickup and headed over there to get my bike. An emergency flight had already been booked to get my broken up butt back home to Montana, and I would be dropping my bike off at a great shop in KC. The manager told me that it would be $350 for the 1.5 mile tow, which, what are you gonna do, towing companies aren't cheap, but the $30 a day storage fee, I politely asked if he could waive, because I picked the bike up 10 hours later. He told me in a raised voice that he was "being decent by not charging me for two calendar days!" I was in a whole lot of pain so I just said ok, and headed outside to load the bike. They got the bike almost in the truck when I remembered straps. I asked Jason, I believe his name was, if he had any he'd be able to sell. "None that I'd let you have." was the reply, along with directions to the farm store. Even my easy going brother in law made a comment about how rude the guy was being, but finally we got back with straps and then had to explain how to strap the bike down. It's pretty basic, but they literally were going to attach the straps to the bottoms of the forks... the guys were nice enough, aside from Jason, but they didn't know anything about hauling motorcycles. I'm sure they do ok with cars though, for what it's worth. But there's more. The officer called me back that afternoon to follow up and check on me, and it turns out that when they picked up my precious bike, they were going to hook a chain to it, and literally drag it up the hill because "it's already on its side." The officer saved the day by setting her upright and riding her up onto the truck himself. Between the rudeness, and the total lack of competence where motorcycles are concerned, I was disheartened to say the least, and can wholeheartedly say I don't think you'd ever regret going with another tow option.

Once we got to the auto repair shop (Blackcreek Automotive) they unloaded my car, which was fully loaded from a road trip. I was coming home from a trip to Kansas back to Texas when my engine seized. The first unload was to the auto shop office. Then they moved it to one of their trucks. Freddy drove me to the local motel and waited until I got my room key. He then unloaded the truck and put my bags on the sidewalk while we waited for a working key. Then he even moved them from the sidewalk into the room. This was very important to me because I have to use a cane and was exhausted from the day. Highly recommend these guys. They made me feel safe and made sure I was okay.

My trailer broke down near this business, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing…read more I was charged approximately $2,000 just for them to bring their equipment out roughly 12 miles, and the invoice listed 21 miles. The repair also took nearly three times longer than the timeframe I was originally given. I was billed for 10 hours of labor, even though the work performed should not have taken that long. If I had access to my tools (which were buried in the trailer), I estimate I could have completed the repair in about five hours myself. Additionally, I was billed for labor related to items that were damaged during the repair process. I had purchased several parts and specifically requested that they be replaced on both sides. Not all parts were replaced as requested, and the unused parts were not returned to me. I picked the trailer up at 10:00 PM, and due to the late hour it was difficult to fully inspect the work at that time. In total, I was charged close to $4,000 for a tire, rim, and hub replacement. Based on the scope of work, I believe the cost was excessive for what was completed. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

The road wasn't busy at all, especially at 5AM on Thanksgiving morning. I had a tow scheduled with my insurance company but instead, the Sheriff called this company. Once I located my car after my tow driver called and told me it wasn't there, the owner of TT & T was extremely rude! Then I was charged an outrageous amount to just be towed down the way a little bit. Over $300 to be exact. Their price isn't bad; they don't start charging you until your car/truck is up on one of their trucks. It is an automatic $50 hook-up charge which isn't bad. I have had them tow a car and a truck from my parents house north of Ottawa by 2 miles into town to an auto repair shop and it only cost $56 dollars. Now I have also had them tow a truck to my parents house from Gardner and I have had them tow a car off of the side of K10, near Desoto to my parents house. Both times it was over $100 dollars but the guys who came to get them didn't seem to have ANY problem coming out on Saturdays to get the cars. They will give you a ride to your destination if you need one or they will just tow your vehicle to the address and drop it. If you are not there to pay them then they will send you a bill. Gotta love towing companies :D Especially this one!
