The products he uses have been effective for my carpenter ant and hornet issues. We had a very wet spring, which may have impacted the ant treatment. He came back out to re-apply at no charge to me, and said that the product was under warranty. Then, on top of all of this, he's very transparent about the services. What they will do, what they won't do, and is honest about recommendations that make sense for the consumer, rather than attempting to tack on unnecessary services. It is also annoyingly difficult to reach the Williston office by phone. If you're reading this right now, go ahead and try to give them a call. You will likely get a recording saying they're busy. The only way I could get them to call me was to call the national number, select the 'new service' option, and then ask them to have the local office call me. I strongly recommend you find a different, more reliable local pest control company.

After a few unanswered calls to other companies, I reached these folks, and they were totally no-nonsense. They were available right away, and came to treat the house while we were at work. Their spray worked like a charm on the first try, killing the hornets around the house and repelling others from landing. When the warm weather arrived, so did the carpenter ants, and I called these guys again. I'm not sure if they're a family business, but sure it seems like it - the lady who answers the phone is sweet and helpful, and the exterminator was the same guy who had treated the hornet problem. They were available to treat the ant infestation right away, and even had a seasonal "service agreement" that covers pest control for the whole year for a set price (which, in both of my dealings with them, has come in exactly at, or under, what I was quoted on the phone). These seem like good people doing an honest business; I'd totally recommend them to anyone who wants to place one call and not have to worry about it again.

He suggested using a non toxic chrysanthemum based spray that he said would get rid of the spiders and flying insects but it made no difference. Also he used ant gels he said would work for the carpenter ants but that didn't work either. He came a few times but nothing helped. I went to tractor supply and got traps for the flys, a spray for the spiders, and I live with the ladybugs. Had to tear a section of the house apart to get rid of the ants and now keep them at bay using another spray on my foundation that I got from Walmart that works. If you hire him, I'd just discuss using more potent/effective methods of pest control than I received.
