The products he uses have been effective for my carpenter ant and hornet issues. We had a very wet spring, which may have impacted the ant treatment. He came back out to re-apply at no charge to me, and said that the product was under warranty. Then, on top of all of this, he's very transparent about the services. What they will do, what they won't do, and is honest about recommendations that make sense for the consumer, rather than attempting to tack on unnecessary services. I'll be sticking with Aaron for as long as he's willing to make the hike to Middlesex.

They continued to come for over a year after the exclusion service was performed to charge me 125 dollars to put down some glue traps and take away dead mice. My husband and I built a house last fall, and were overrun with hornets within a month of moving…read morein. I'd never needed an exterminator, so just started cold calling local companies I found online. After a few unanswered calls to other companies, I reached these folks, and they were totally no-nonsense. They were available right away, and came to treat the house while we were at work. Their spray worked like a charm on the first try, killing the hornets around the house and repelling others from landing. When the warm weather arrived, so did the carpenter ants, and I called these guys again. I'm not sure if they're a family business, but sure it seems like it - the lady who answers the phone is sweet and helpful, and the exterminator was the same guy who had treated the hornet problem. They were available to treat the ant infestation right away, and even had a seasonal "service agreement" that covers pest control for the whole year for a set price (which, in both of my dealings with them, has come in exactly at, or under, what I was quoted on the phone). These seem like good people doing an honest business; I'd totally recommend them to anyone who wants to place one call and not have to worry about it again.

Called multiple pest control companies to deal with the infestation, they all , wanted us to take all of our clothing out and get it cleaned, followed by a year long follow ups with costs. They sent a really awesome guy to our house (I wish I could remember his name!) who located and took care of the problem very quickly. We've had no issues since, even after he came back to check in. I will say that they're extremely pushy on the phone about their monthly plan. We signed up for the season, just to make sure that we didn't have further issues, since it is technically cheaper if we were to have a reoccurring infestation. We're going to attempt to cancel when we're confident that things are ok.

I was scheduled an appointment 3 days later and at the time the technician was supposed to arrive, I was notified that I was rescheduled for 5 more days later. Total of 8 days from my initial cantact with Orkin. Cancelled and would never call them again.
