I had taken the back off a while ago to see if I could figure anything out on my own and noticed it looked like the jack could be replaced without sauldering. So I took it there today and he looked at it real quickly and told me I had half the job done and explained what I could do to replace the jack, or possibly replacing the power cord itself or possibly pinching in the tabs on the jack to make a better connection. I chose the latter option and it's charging fine now. He was super heplful! I'll think I'll take my wife's computer to him next - for some diagnostic help.

The nice man, Clinton, showed up the very same day, was clean cut, his car was not dripping oil all over my driveway and he actually had a very pleasant personality. I walked him into my house and showed him my computer and told him what the issue was but he actually had remembered everything I had told him earlier on the phone, finally!! someone that listens. Anyway, he said it would take a little bit to figure the issues out but that he thought he could definitely figure it out and I would be able to function on the computer once again. Not only did Computer Guru misdiagnose my computer as having a faulty motherboard, but returned my computer in worse condition. Mind you all the computer components were brand new out of the box including the motherboard. This is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered with any local business. I asked for a simple refund for the full diagnostic because after taking it into Affordable Computers we found the motherboard worked, and the power source plug was not plugged in correctly (that simple). Any knowledgeable technician would have known that immediately, instead, the computer was dismembered and parts were broken costing me more money to fix what they broke and several days to get my computer back.
