***RODENT INFESTATION EVERYWHERE BEWARE*** There is nothing good about this storage unit. NOTHING, RUN. Worst experience here -- I would not even wish this experience on my WORST ENEMY. All my stuff was destroyed and they didn't care at all or even offer a refund. There were literally 20 mice in my storage unit alone alive, half dead, dead, etc. When I told the worker there were mice everywhere he just SHRUGGED IT OFF AND DIDN'T EVEN CARE. He said they have a guy come once a month to spray chemicals but that is all. He was AWARE of the issue and they do not care to fix their problem. Their storage units are not shut tight. There is so much space at the bottom of the door for anything to come in and out. All my stuff was ruined. So basically I spent money to have my stuff infested, have to deal with the situation and pay money for my things to be destroyed. Could have just left my furniture and belongings on the road instead or donated them rather than paying to have them destroyed. Also their billing was awful too. On top of this they charged me late fees because THEIR website was not working to accept payments while I was traveling and using the storage unit. This place was AWFUL. DO NOT USE IT you are better off burning your things in the fire that is running rampant in Northern California atm. read more

Never having used a storage facility before, this one in Gilroy is nice -if a little rundown looking- place to store a trailer, boat, motorcycle, RV, etc. There are storage rooms and open lot parking spaces. The Managers, Tim & Sue Moon are great, really nice people, but have to enforce some strict no-nonsense rules. I especially like that they live on-site so issues related to break-ins and vandalism are pretty much nonexistent. Tim does a check of the grounds often and they also have closed-circuit cameras every where. We currently store our travel trailer there since we go home through Gilroy everyday and if we need to drop something off, or even pick the trailer up on a Thursday night for a weekend trip, it's easy to get in and out. Monthly space fees are extremely reasonable, $80 a month for us, and there is a keypad you have to punch your code into every time you enter and exit the grounds. Solid 3 stars from me. read more

Recently new ownership. I stored my stuff for about 5 months. They are the nicest people! Very professional and always there if I needed any assistance or had a question. They also had a great special which helped me along my new journey! I loved that they have cameras everywhere. It was a clean facility and I felt save about my stuff. read more

The rates here are reasonable and the manager is friendly. The facility is fenced and has an gate at the entrance. The huge problem here is thieves. Lots of people have suffered loss of their property due to burglary. The big solution is to install security cameras, currently there are none. I spoke to the manager and was told the owners are not interested in the idea. What a shame that reasonably low cost systems would deter the thievery. read more

I have used many storage facilities in the Bay Area and just contracted with Leavesley today. The management of the facility has recently changed and the new manager, Jessica, was very courteous, helpful and accommodating. The facility was as advertised and I feel my items will be secure. I know they have had poor management and pest issues in the past, but this seems to have been resolved. The price was fair and I received a better than average discount for the first four months. My unit was clean and had recently been updated. So far, very pleased! read more

Had my stuff in the back units for about 8 months. My unit stayed cool in the summer and did its job. The lighting when it gets dark is really bad there and I felt unsafe to go alone though. Also, it's pretty run down and the roads have huge potholes everywhere. Ended up moving to another storage place because with out notice, they parked a bunch of RVs and trucks in front of my unit making it difficult to get too. read more

Most of our stuff was stolen, and all the manager could say was "I'm sorry, you should have gotten insurance." Several other units around us were broken into as well. We grabbed most of the stuff that day that was still left in our unit that would fit in our truck. When i came back 3 days later to get the rest of our things, I figured the other storage units that were broken into would have had replacement locks but they were still the same with their cut locks. The manager should have notified the customers. Then I went to the office to cancel my storage unit and the office was locked before closing hours. I called the manager over 20 times before he finally answered. His excuse for not being in the office and not answering was that he was at the hospital. I told him that i neded to cancel my storage unit so i wouldnt be charged another month. He asked what unit and said he would take care of it when he got back to the office. I agreed. So, as I was driving off I see him walking out of his little apartment that he lives in on top of the storage office with a bunch of guys. He was not at the hospital. I don't know what he was doing. I don't know why he lied about being at the hospital. I checked my bank account today and I have been charged another month. I called the office and no answer. I have already filed a police report. Even the officer said that there was something fishy going on there. read more
