They leave and charge me $500. I get the invoice a week later and I see that they also charged me $150 for "repairs." They never went and did ANY repairs to my chimney. They also don't have the proper tools to inspect chimneys. They stuck their hands with their phones into my chimney and took a blurry video and gave me that as proof that they had cleaned. Other chimney guys have endoscopes that actually go deep inside the chimney. Fast forward to a week ago, my hvac guy comes back after the cleaning and lets me know that I am still not getting enough draft from my chimney. So essentially the RM duct cleaning guys did nothing and collected $500 from me. I called their support desk and they don't have my address on file. I speak to someone else and they assure me that they'll contact me within the next hour to have this resolved. It's been a week and no response. My hvac guy recommended "Vertical Chimney Care." They came and properly cleaned the chimney, they gave me a great inspection with the proper tools. And only charged me $150 compared to $500! STAY AWAY FROM RM GO WITH Vertical Chimney Care!

I ordered a beautiful door from his company that was matte black,. The technician installed the door with white caulk did not secure with clips and the worst part is that he then spray painted with a black glossy paint not only did he paint the caulk but my fireplace brick and the new door. It was difficult to have him agree to removing the door and refunding me the cost of the door and he was going to remove the paint on the brick and cover the cost . He finally agreed to those terms scheduled a date for him to do the work. HE NEVER SHOWED UP , CALLED or RETURNED THE REFUND. I have tried numerous times to reach this company with no luck. This was extremely unprofessional.

Previous guy answers and says Bryan threatened to sue him if he worked with me. So instead of telling me he couldn't come he just ghosted. Again, seems to be common practice here. So now I'm even further behind, still have bad work that needs to be fixed, supplies that need to be replaced, and two deposits being held with no communication from Bryan for 4 days. I can assure everyone I have been nothing but professional in all of my correspondence and given these people no reason to behave so childishly and unprofessionally. I used them last year (2018) to recover 2 chairs and they did a nice job for which I probably would have given them 4.5 stars. The only reason it wasn't 5 is because chairs were gone for a long time and they did not bring me the leftover fabric which I requested in email form when I sent the project, and when they did the project they did not bring it - I emailed it and requested they send it. They never did. I used them last month to reupholster the chair and ottoman pictured below. It was a disaster from start to finish. 1. The blue chair was to be trimmed in pale green velvet. The first time they delivered it they had self welted it. They took it back. 2. The next time they delivered it the trim was correct but there it was pieced near one of the legs and the gathering on either side of the back was noticeably uneven. Because the chair is in my bedroom I didn't not care about the piecing so much (other than it is indicative of a shoddy job) because it isn't noticeable. The gathering is noticeable. Given the chair had been done twice at this point...I suggested it might make sense to refund my money rather than do it a 3rd time. Molly wanted to do it over. 3. The last time they delivered the piecing had been fixed but they did not touch the gathering. On the ottoman...the first time they delivered it the top had uneven puckering by the buttons (pictured). That has since been fixed. I had also asked for leftover fabric to be delivered. At this point I doubt there could be any...but it begs the questions ...when they first delivered the chair and ottoman...there was a 1 yard requirement for the green velvet trim. Obviously they had the fabric when they took the chair back and swapped out the self welt for the green velvet. These fabrics were both over $200 per yard...as was the one on the first pair of chairs. Molly just ignores this request. I really trust my decorator friend who gave me this recommendation...and I am guessing based on a Yelp review written 12/2018 that something must have changed at this place. Maybe an upholstered retired? I do not know...but I would not use them or recommend them.

He actually found a better file version of the print and made sure I knew every detail. His pricing was more than fair! Because I live around Chicago I coordinated a local pickup and David made it simple. I always wanted to get into 3D printing but didn't want to pay the up front expense, deal with user errors, etc. 3D print Chicago eliminates all my concerns and I can enjoy the wonderful creative world of printing with a professional to handle the project.
