Here is the story. I called up to have my son evaluated bc his occupational therapist had recommended this place for helping him improve attention, focus, and being able to more successfully tackle academic tasks. So, I called exactly a year ago n set up a day n time. However, things came up, life continued, and I wasn't able to keep the appointment. I called to cancel my appointments. Now, I wasn't at all upset as I was very skeptical of the whole deal once many answers weren't able to be answered upon speaking with a trained cognitive therapist. I beg to challenge that one!
Needless to say, the eval was reportedly not exuberant, 300.00. However, what would the cost per session be? The person couldn't tell me. I could pay with a payment plan. Really, why? What would I be getting my self and my son into? a nightmare of an endless money pit. Well, if I didn't do my research and rescheduled, the answer would have been, yes. Terrible reviews, everywhere. Told my sons therapist, that I have been appalled at how aggressive these people are at trying to steal my money. They never stopped calling until 4 months ago, as I changed my number. Now they send mail n email, constantly. They just don't get the picture. My bottom line is they have no interest in helping any child and nor do I think the so called cognitive therapists on staff have adequate training other than for what they were taught, their program. Their desire is money, not the child's best interest; otherwise, why would they hound and that is putting it mildly, a potential client. If u r that good, u would never run after a client. The client would be begging to be seen if results were that astonishing. STAY FAR AWAY!!! read more
