I think that the services are still being tweaked, especially for those younger than preschool, and so the jury is still out. I like their philosophy, and the teachers are very friendly and fun. Some weeks the room is more prepped for the kids than others, and the schedule is constantly changing which can make it hard to plan your week. I would like to see communication improved between staff and parents. I have emailed or inquired in person on different occasions and not always received follow up, which is surprising since it is such a small staff. But all in all, I think that what they have going is a great service once they work out the kinks.

This franchise location will be successful if the franchisee develops the skill to (1) get the customer and (2) retain the customer. This franchisee failed to read her company memos or take the company training seriously. She doesn't get it. A consumer complaint has been logged with home office. In speaking with other parents who know of this location, the experience is common across the board. Unprofessional, disorganized, and NOT child-friendly. That is, former students have taken issue with the owner's failure to teach and act appropriately, to not raise her voice, and to be supportive. How many customers have been lost and opportunities missed because of the owner's abject failure to demonstrate simple bedside manners? I can't say enough positive things about the C2 @ Princeton under the leadership of Kate S. Her…read moreattention to details and her assessment of my daughter capabilities is spot on! They provide an amazing service and are invested in the betterment of their students. The fees can be steep, but then, as far as education is concerned, you get to do it only once, there is no re-do. Getting right is primordial! So investing in my daughter's future was important. The personal attention my daughter received from the tutors, staffs and Kate is above and beyond. I highly recommend C2 of Princeton to any aspiring high-schooler. You can't go wrong with that type of caring, nurturing, and highly academic proven environment. Joe C

Horrendous experience in C2 Princeton! Be aware of the traps in the contract in general!…read moreBE AWARE! This is a very shady, fraudulent business. Keep a detail log of the hours your kid used. Be aware of its "Expiration of Tutor Instructional time" policy and how they use this expiration policy to rip you off thousands of your hard earned money! If you are a new customer, they give your kid a diagnostic test much harder than real SAT. Based on the score, they recommend you to buy lots of hour to reach your desired score. This is fear mongering! Hard test, low score, more hours==more money. At sign-up, you will be told the "100% money back guarantee tuition refund program", no single word about the "Expiration of Tutor Instructional time" policy. If you are an existing customer, they have promotion during the year. Right now, you all should get emails "Get our biggest savings of the year - Enroll now!" from C2. Be aware of this trap! They will encourage you to purchase lots of hours on top of current balance during promotion period, called "upgrade". BE AWARE of how they use the "Expiration of Tutor Instructional time" policy to rip you off. Ever since you pay for "upgrade", all the hours your kid uses from now on will be deducted from the "upgrade". Your hours from the balance of previous payment will be kept till its expiration. That means once you pay for "upgrade", your balance is set to zero no matter how many hours you have in your balance. How the used hours were logged is also dubious. My kid took some practice tests in the center. I tried to schedule meetings with the director when the test result came out. During the meeting, the director usually wrote down the hours used leading to the practice test. She usually utilized the number of used hours as an explanation for the test result. Now when I requested refund and finally got the list of the logged hours from the center, the logged hours from the list are much higher than the numbers I was given during the meetings. I was explained how the contract works in much more detail and depth when I ask for refund for over hundreds of unused hours, which worth more than $10k. Now I realized how the contract and the way the director conducted her business are fraudulent. It is a long story. I am in the legal battle with C2 now. As a good citizen, I feel it is my responsibility to let the general public know how fraudulent C2 business is. Please feel free to share my posting. Hope no others will be ripped off as much as I was.

For anyone planning to bring their child to this center or any Kumon, it is not one on one…read moretutorship. They only provide minimal guidance and expect the children to learn by self-learning through their propriety workbooks. This may be a proven method but my issue is the level of dishonesty and the misleading responses Miss Sabiha, the franchise owner, gave to us. My son needed extra tutorship while visiting his grandparents in New Jersey. We enrolled my son just for the summer (Jun/Jul) since in Florida school starts on Aug10th. During sign up I told her that it's only for the two months. In the last month, the grandparents notified the center in writing that my son's last day will be on Aug 3rd, but my wife spoke to Miss Sabiha that my son will not be in attendance at all in August since he will be traveling to Florida in car. She understood and told us that it will be fine and that she will not charge us for the month of August and if there is a charge call her and she will refund the money. Miss Sabiha was even nice enough to give us some extra work for my son to complete during his travel back to Florida. Now I see a charge for the entire month of August and my initial reaction is to call Miss Sabiha for the refund. She tells me that she gave my wife an entire month of work and extra work for my son to complete. My wife never agreed to that and Miss Sabiha never disclosed it to us. If we would have known this than we would of never taken it. She even told my wife it's extra work for the drive back home. I was extremely upset about this and she told me is that's how we do business here. Coming to find out Miss Sabiha is correct, it states "It is due in full until the discontinuation form is filled or if a student attends any session or if Kumon materials are taken by the student during the month." They charged us for the simple fact that we accepted the extra work for my son knowing that my son will not be in attendance. If this is not dishonest or misleading than I don't know what is. So parents please be mindful that this learning center will charge in FULL for any material taken.
