My daughter, Alaina started at Ivy Masters with Paul, took four classes did all her homework and her practice SAT, August 23rd was the big day. She got her SAT, results came in on September 5th, where she scored 270 points higher from the first SAT she took. Alaina did not study open a book or know what she was getting into in her May SAT but after Paul she went up 270 points. I cannot emphasize that score enough, She sealed her fate, she overcame and conquered that SAT with the help of Paul and Ivy Masters. I want to thank him cause he helped her very much and on her SAT paper where she was able to write notes on the top; Alaina wrote "remember what Paul taught me." He had such a significant influence on her and he instilled confidence and the power of knowledge in her to get Alaina where she needed to be. Ivy Masters is a great learning facility, Paul is a great teacher and I would recommend all who need to take an SAT prep class to go to Ivy Masters and ask for Paul. He worked with me throughout the process and once again, I can't thank you enough, Paul you're the man! 270 points in four classes. Amazing! read more

Proof is in pudding. Sat score jumped after going through program. Have referred and will continue to refer. Paul and his team get it right

In just 3 sessions with Paul, in 6 weeks, my son's ACT score went up by 5 points from his first practice test to the actual test! Paul was professional and patient, and taught my son test-taking skills, study skills, and review of the material. I'm so thankful we found Paul, because my son's score meant he could be one-and-done with the test and relax a bit for the rest of junior year. read more

History

Established in 2002.

Ivy Masters Learning Center began in 2002 and became specialized before serving a wider student population. Paul tutored 4 to 50 year olds before narrowing his focus to SAT (and ACT) prep. Over time, he began to teach SAT classes, run free SAT and ACT seminars for parents, run free proctored exams, and hired some excellent tutors, most who scored higher than average for Harvard and Princeton on their SATs.

Meet the Business Owner: Paul P.

Paul, the owner, was inspired to start Ivy Masters after doing much soul-searching. Teaching gave him the most fulfillment and, when he realized he could make a living doing it privately, he began his company. Paul's BA and MS in Education from UPenn, his expertise gained through teaching SAT and ACT full-time for 15 years, and his personable demeanor, make him uniquely qualified. From the thousands of students he has taught, he has hand-picked the brightest, most personable tutors. What excites him about running his business is sharing the wealth of knowledge he has gained through the years with his students and their parents...and watching those student surpass their goals.
