The center's assessment was a great tool in analyzing my kids' strengths and weaknesses and they were able to tailor the program to their specific needs. I really liked the way the program is designed to improve their concentration in addition to building their math, reading and writing skills. The teachers communicate very effectively with one another and have gotten to know my children well in a short time. The parent review was incredibly helpful in understanding where my children are at academically as they approach the coming school year. My boys enjoyed going to the sessions. We will surely return next summer and if we ever have a deficiency in school, I would return to them for help without hesitation.

With Mathnasium approach on 1:1 steps by steps, this made math easier to understand. My son was able to recover from his C to a B average by the end of the year. In addition his liking of the subject came back again, now that he is shown that it is not as complicated. I definitely recommend Mathnasium and Steve's group of tutors. When my kids do not know how to solve a math problem she literally throws the answer book at them and does not explain how to solve the problem. She really just throws the answer book at them and says "This is the answer figure it out." Michelle doesn't know how to explain or does not how to figure out math equation. Why am I paying you? My kids came back crying because Michelle told them to stop acting like little babies. They have been attending this center for 6 years. I guess I am the idiot for not noticing this sooner. On saturday the 23rd i went to kumon. Jonathan is amazing but his wife needs to be worked on. She yelled at me and made me cry because i apperantly i "waste" time. I then got yelled at for not doing my work and not bringing supplies. I had to give michelle 50 kumon dollars for a pencil that had bite marks on it,flat eraser etc. Michelle touched me very weirdly and made me feel uncomfortable. After kumon i went into the car and cried because of michelle. I do not recommend coming to kumon.

After test my Daughter asked me to use the restroom, I asked teacher/owner Laura where is the restroom. Laura ignored my question. Then I asked her again and she walked us to the restroom With very unhappy face. When we come back Laura said that she doesn't want kids to use the restroom in their facility and she told us that we can use the restroom in Quickcheck across the street . I told her that this is impossible because my 4 year old can't hold it that long ( to cross the street for quickcheck we need to walk to reach crosswalk which is not close ) . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in my area unless your child don't pee or poop . ‍please stay away . And if you want to use kumon services in different locations please call first and ask if kids are allowed to use the restroom in their facility . I know Marlboro location does .

My son came to Huntington learning Center in Brick town NJ because he was failing in 8th grade math…read moreand Language arts. Huntington learning Center assessed him extensively to see where his problems stem from. Once they found where my son was functioning academically and where his weaknesses were, they set up a program uniquely designed to address his needs.. The staff at the brick town center stepped right in to start filling in the gaps where my son had missed previous skills that he should have learned in 5th -7th grade in school. The staff are involved professionally as educators. They offer one on one assistance with my son. They teach and ensure that he masters the skills he "s working on. the service that we receive from this center goes far beyond anything i imagined we would find at a learning center. All staff are on one accord, and work toward a common goal, "to help my child to learn and to succeed". The staff listen to what concerns me as a parent. They also address the social/emotional developmental stages of the students at the center. The director of the center in Brick Town, Ms. Leeann Voss knows all the students and parents of the center, and she interacts personally and professionally with us all. it is because of Ms. Voss that i feel a sense of love for education, and genuine concern for the students. her leadership says " we are all in this together". Ms,. Voss makes time to meet with the students and the parents. She even gets involved with my son"s school, communicating with teachers and guidance counselor via meetings, emails, or phone calls. Ms. Voss is an advocate for my son as well as for all the students of the center. Ms. Voss makes sure we are all connected and working toward the same goal. As a result, my son is no longer a failing student!. He will be ready to go on to high school and carry the skills that Huntington has gifted him with into his future. I don't know what we would have done without Huntington learning Center of Brick Town. The entire staff are awesome!
