The kids love how she explains math so clearly. They just get it when she teaches them. And they really get it because she's asking them questions during the session to check their understanding. Confidence and grades have soared! My 7 year old tutors with Laura because he wants to increase his math skills. I especially love that she doesn't limit what he can learn at his age. He's learned his multiplication and division tables, rounding to the 10,000's, perimeter, area and today he learned fractions. It's only been 8 weeks. We signed up for another 8 weeks. Really cool to see his mind light up! Thank you CEC and thank you Laura!!!

She had so much more confidence with math and the staff, especially Mr. Brian worked around her busy schedule. I can't thank CEC enough for all their help and patience with us and look forward to many more tutoring sessions for my daughter!

They reach out to my daughter's Math teacher thru e-mail. To ensure that each curriculum is practiced and drilled accordingly. I had my daughter go to other Math tutoring establishments. But the results were abysmal at best. What she needed was someone to teach her the Common Core Math, that me or my wife could not teach since we both grew up on Classical Mathematics. It was a frustrating experience for us and our daughter. So if, as a parent you struggle to teach your kids your way of Math. You're not alone! Common Core Math is quite different and can lead to lower scores for your kids especially when written formulas are required in the tests. Quality is never cheap! C2 brings quality tutoring to the highest level i have ever seen in Math. 2 hour sessions at least 2x per week. With assessment reports sent directly to you, the parent. Every dollar spent here at C2 was worth it. It's hard to put a price on your kids improvement in self-esteem, confidence and focus by having outstanding grades. By ensuring your kids strong foundation in Math opens so many more doors or opportunities for them. My daughter went from wanting to be an interior designer(not a lot of Math) to having the confidence to actually want to be an engineer or architect! Thank You C2! Thank you Levi! Thank you Gabe for ur masterful teaching ways!

As for their homework help class, I double check my son's homework each night to make sure it's complete, and I have no problems with the quality. I was a little concerned about the shift to common core at my son's school, but the teachers at Quest know how to explain common core methods very well. My son also has private tutoring for reading since he was a little behind. His tutor is great and I've seen so much improvement in his reading fluency and comprehension. In attending Alpha Academy for about a year, I saw improvements in both my academic and, quite…read moresurprisingly, my personal life. Mr. Kim's passion for teaching is truly evident in each and every class session. Alpha usually goes about three days a week for two hours each. Each session focuses on a different subject of the SAT (writing, reading, and math). In each session, he drills test-taking patterns in essay writing, grammar, and critical reading. These patterns break down the entire test, allowing students to be fully aware of what to expect. The test then is no longer intimidating while both speed and accuracy in test-taking improves. Not only does Mr. Kim teach valuable test-taking skills, but he also offers his students nuggets of life-lessons. In my experience, these life-lessons have made a great impact by inspiring me to make my role as a student priority. With this new focus, I saw my SAT scores improve as well as my GPA. In addition to the SAT classes, I highly recommend taking the college personal statement writing courses. Because Mr. Kim teaches SATs on a very personal level, he knows each one of his students on deep level. Therefore, he becomes a great help in helping students channel their life experiences into moving and touching essays for college admissions to read. He is willing to go through many drafts of the essay with each student and even goes out of his way to call and give suggestions for improvement over the phone. All in all, Alpha Academy is an unforgettable experience. Even after graduating high school, I am able to apply Mr. Kim's lessons and thoughts on life. He continues to challenge me to look further.
