There are lots of cute little boxed notes from all the nice-stationery-place brands, list pads and calendars (lots that would make great little gifts for stockings, baby or wedding showers, just because or just for you!), and if you need custom invitations - engraved, printed, or letter press- there are books and books to peruse. I offered to move them to their black dirty totes they use and was told no. I didn't appreciate being talked to like a child. I have sold for years and nice items for them to give me a $1 off and sell that day for much more. At booking in their new appointment style the employee stated it could be in any container. Took my items down the street to Once upon a child and was greeted friendly and even complimented on the bag/tote they were in and on the quality of my items being sold. I'll trade and spend my money with Once Upon a Child. Their store was full of customers and functioning properly unlike kid to kid which was empty.

This is one of the nicest Spirit Halloween stores I've ever shopped and that includes the one I worked at once!! This year's store is located at Northgate Mall in the old Sear's location. They are only using the lower level and the store is NOT connected to the mall so you have to use their entrance. It's very spacious and everything is displayed so nicely! What a GREAT selection of everything! Costumes, decor, socks, home decor! So much GREAT stuff! They have sections with favorites Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, and pretty much every horror movie icon. I've visited already a few times, you have to check for the new stuff!! The weird thing is I have yet to have any contact with any staff. Not a welcome, not a can I help you find anything, nothing. The store is great so I'm still giving it a 4 but it would have a 5 if the staff were more attentive. I will say both times, there were other people in the store but most of the staff seemed to be hanging out at check out. I'll still be checking in every week or so! I love Halloween!

And the dainty antlers looked too childish for my big head. The two of us made our way around the store- me playing the singing bowls and Robert magically appeared to ring out some of his own. I was so tempted to buy the candle filled singing bowls- BUT part of getting a singing bowl is hearing the tone. And I am currently collecting the glass ones- so their beautiful metal ones wouldn't fit my collection. Always always- check the clearance. But the earrings turn out to not be a guaranteed great choice...since not every pair is actually made to be worn and they can't be returned! At $25 a pair, the end of each earring can't be re-attached after taken out of the backing because the hole for the backing to go into wasn't made to be large enough to really fit accurately. You can see from the pics. And jamming that slim metal piece in would just bend it. So these earrings can't be used as earrings. Since we all know how stretched our dollar is these days, not spending on earrings that can't be worn is something to consider.
