Amongst the solid looking wooden furniture are soft furnishings, (including matching door stop and draft excluders in the shape of two very cute pups), pottery display items, and cutesy items such as a box of toy baby hedgehogs. The key words in this shop are 'quality' and 'affordability'. I'm surprised that in up-market Warwick that the price tags here are much lower than similar items on sale in my home suburb of Kings Heath in Moseley. I write 'similar items' but the owners have a real eye for the unusual and they stock attractive pieces that you won't find anywhere else. An example of this are Cromer Crab Pots. These wire and class curiosities are rustic and nautical items that you want to buy half a dozen of because you love the look of them and wait until you get home to decide what you are going to use it for. Colin and Sonya have a real eye for displaying their stock so that it looks attractive in situ as well as making it easy to imagine in your own home. This makes it a place that I'll be sure to visit again on my visits to Warwick.

Jellycat, giftwrap and cute tissue papers, homewares, gorgeous cards, gifts, clothing- I had fabulous advent candles from here too. Everything is displayed well too. Extra bonus points though to the super helpful staff, I dropped them a message on Facebook trying to track down a dress- arranged payment, and I had the politest exchange and super quick postage- I wish I lived closer to this place!

The shop looks tiny from the outside but on entering the shop it is like an Aladins Cave and seems to go on and on. They have a great range of cards for every age range and every occasion. They also have a good range of fun books which make great gifts and secret santas. They have a really good range of gifts again for all ages. The nice thing about this shop is that there are lots of things here that you don't see on sale anywhere else and i'm sure they spend a vast amount of time sourcing the quirky, fun items here. They have gifts for all price ranges too - you can pop in and spend a couple of quid but pretty much each time I go in here I want everything and normally spend a small fortune. If you are ever in Warwick you must go into this shop as it is a great, fun shop.

This store is rarely busy unless it's 10% day and the parking is good (although it's tricky turning right out the car park since Lidl opened on the opposite side). It's worth ringing ahead if there's something particular you want as the Focus DIY at Warwick is now a Homebase and is larger and often has better stock levels.

Torrys is an amazing store where you can buy just about anything. They offer key cutting and timber cutting but you can also buy a short length of pipe, odd batteries, peculiar bulbs and an excellent range of washing up bowls to fit any sink. Staff are helpful and have an encylopedic knowledge of where things are. As a customer I sometimes feel I should be leaving a trail behind me to find my way back to the exit! Shops like this need to be preserved. The only downside is the parking which is on the street and sometimes tricky. If you aren't buying anything big then going by bus is probably best.
