System does not work correctly with metal roofs. Contacted Leaf Filter Nola and they sent someone to clean but not evaluate gutters as I requested. Service person did not speak fluent English....did not know there was a system on the backyard as well! System requires cleaning every 3 months requiring ladders. Buyer beware. read more

I had LF gutters installed all around my previous home and everything was done properly and I was totally satisfied. I wanted LF to install gutters in my new home as well. The rear of the house was done well. The side of the house, the gutter did not have enough drop and water accumulated in the middle of the gutter, weighted the gutter which the pulled the facia of the roof joists!!!!! I called the service number and they gave me a TWO week out appointment. The installer came at 7:30 the night before the appointment and said "oh! Wow! We'll have to come back tomorrow and fix it". The had originally given me an 8 am appointment but ten never showed up! I'm still waiting... read more

Do not use leaf filter! They do everything possible to weasel out of their warranty and do not keep their word. I wish I could give 0 stars. I had a leaf filter system installed on my home in 2019. The sales person stated that there was a no-clog money back guarantee. He stated if the system ever clogged the clog would be remedied and the warranty we reimburse me the entire cost of the system. I couldn't believe it. It sounded to good to be true. I was assured that their system was so good that they never had to worry about paying out the warranty because their systems do not clog. Fast forward 6 years and now I have a clog. A contractor for leaf filter had to come out and clear the clog. The service person stated that it was not installed right because when it was installed they did not take out the down spout filter and it filled with root grit clogging the system. I have an audio file of the service person telling me this and pictures of the what clogged the system. I filed my warranty claim. The first local manager I spoke with stated that they don't cover Acts of God and it must have been a storm that drove leaves into the system. I had to explain to him that it wasn't even leaves. It was roof grit and a metal filter that was left in during the initial install. I had to inform him what the clog consisted of and sent my signed copy of the warranty. I was supposed to get a call that day. I had to call back two days later and spoke with the regional manager Chuck. He consistently interrupted me. He didn't even know the whole story and just got on the phone and stated that Leaf Filter would not cover this. He didn't even hear what I had to say. After telling him he was interrupting me I finally stated what happened. He then stated I paid $95 to get the clog fixed and the warranty stated it is either or. If I didn't pay the $95 I could have gotten full reimbursement. No where on my warranty does it say either/or. I was told specifically that the clog would be removed and I would receive full reimbursement. He then stated that I am just looking for money. What a horrible thing to say to a customer who is abiding by the claim. He then stated that my contract was just a reference to a warranty card that I was given at install. I informed him that no warranty card was given to me and that I have a folder with all my leaf filter information. He stated I am trying to remember a conversation from 6 years ago. I am not "trying" to remember anything. I do remember in vivid detail my conversation and I have my written contract. I am a man of my word. Leaf Filter is not. I then called corporate and was told the installer put that it was because of wood deterioration. I had to explain that was a completely separate matter on the back of the house on a different gutter system not connected to the clogged system. In all I was told it must be "An Act of God", it was caused by "Roof deterioration" even though that is not true, "Roof grit doesn't cause clogs," ignoring that there was a left in piece of filter, and "Well I paid to have the problem fixed by Leaf Filter, but if you didn't we would cover it", and "Im just trying to get money". They can't make up their minds why they are not honoring their warranty. They switch it up in anyway necessary to not honor their warranty or word. I will be sharing this on every gutter forum or leaf filter advertisement as a warning to others to not do business with an unethical business. read more

Hello fellow yelpers an potential customers. My contract with LeafFilter was just completed, finished. Before I met them I had nothing but bad experiences. I saw the commercial for Leaf Filter for the second time and decided I would call and get my questions answered. The heavens opened up for me, one of the angels said come on "MO" you picked the right company, call them. Mr. Micah Wagner was the resident account manager who answered. This young man was on the ball. I knew I should have called a while back. When he finished explaining to me what and how they prepared and set those gutters up, I thought I had in front of me a live robot. Hey don't judge me, every time you pick up the phone it's a robot, dat's right, I said it. Nah. But he was very real. He had my order ready for installation in less than 3 days, and to top it off, we were facing bad weather. Listen to this, No payment required until job is finished, man! You mean I can still make it to Dat Dog , dis is real man, and you can contact the managers in the office or fields for any questions you might have . You also have a selection of colors to decide on and skilled men to install. Y'all better get with it. I tried and tried with no luck until I met with Micah Wagner. I also talked with the regional field boss and my questions were answered, also he sent Chris one of the master inspectors, who checked " Everything "after the men started working, dat's right, now roll call y'all, Zack, Mike, Paul, Scott, I can honestly say very respectfully and knowledgeably, the job that was done was absolutely stellar., I chose a great combination for my gutters. Their up only 3days and I've gotten 10 inquires already and compliments. Y'all, I'm gonna be looking good when the Tour buses are passing my "Pad" oh I mean Home for my NUN FRIENDS, or for the guest coming to your home now, wha chu say ! My leaffilter guards were installed in September 2023, which until last week I believed were correctly done. However, Upon inspection by a roofer with 25 years experience and a Louisiana State Fortified Inspector the guards were not properly installed as they were installed under the shingle, (voiding the shingle warranty) and disallowed under the fortified roof program. Leaffilter states to maintain the structural integrity of the roof Leaffilter is NOT installed underneath the shingles or attached to the roof which will protect the roof warranty. There are also several Leaffilter Youtube videos which show the installation of the system and they are not installed under the shingles. Because of the improper installation, they had to be removed as the fortified certification does not permit anything slide under the shingle edge. When I notified leaffilter all they said was I would have to pay 95 dollars and the labor cost to have them re-installed properly. Unbelievable, stay away their warranty means nothing, they obviously don't know how to install their product properly and because of their shotty work void the actual shingle warrenty. read more

We have been having horrible issues with our gutter installation. They've been an absolute nightmare to work with. Do not recommend doing business with them! read more

I only gave them a one star because you can't post a review with zero stars. I have been fighting with them for over a year to complete the installation and to fix two problem areas that are quite embarrassing. Water pours over the gutters and onto my patio (see pic). They cut my upper gutters and installed a downspout that doesn't fit into the lower gutter. (See pic). I sent the videos and photos to the area service manager last June. Initially, I asked for a full refund and for them to remove their product. They offered to reduce the cost to hard costs and a compete repair. After 7 months of nothing, we agreed to terms on February 8, 2022. It took over 6 weeks to process the refund. They told me I would get a check but instead they sent a credit to Wells Fargo. Now I have to fight WF for my money. I have called WF several times and was told they don't know when I will receive my money back. I have my kids birthday parties at my home next week and the repairs won't be done in time. I have called the service rep 6 times since Monday of this week and only received a text back saying that he would get me on the schedule. I'm done! I have my attorney lined up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Update: A nice response from Twig below. I called the number, waited on hold for 12 minutes and got an automated message that my number had been noted and that I would receive a call back in the next few days. Typical..... Update 6/2- Someone was scheduled to come to do the repairs on Monday (5/30). No one showed or called. I received a call this morning to try to reschedule the repairs. Still haven't received a call back from customer service number listed in the company response. Update 6/8- A regional manager and a repair guy were scheduled to be here at 4:30 today to evaluate and do the repairs. Neither showed and no phone call. Before scheduling the repairs for today I asked for a full refund and for them to remove their system. I was told they would not refund me and they were committed to repairing the system. More of the same clown show.... read more

Don't, just don't. The rep showed up but I had to explain to him no less than 3 times what I specifically wanted this morning. I stated that I was getting estimates and he could either write an estimate or email. When I first called for an appointment I stated the same...estimate and literature. He just kept grinning and stated that we don't do that, that we have to go inside and explain everything to you. I stated he was not going into to my house. He kept up his grinning bullying tactics and I asked him to leave. Called the contact number for the company and asked for someone else. Got a call from the "manager" and he stated that the rep had to sit down with the client and explain everything to them (what are we completely stupid?), another push to indoctrinate and pressure someone inside their home. Told them to forget it. Not one of the other companies used pressure tactics to try and sell product. I'd be very cautious about their tactics and about being pressured into getting into your home. Just don't go there. read more

We made a terrible decision going with this company. It's a scam. Please do not use them, they will never call you back and you will definitely be calling bc you'll have problems with the result. Wasted an entire month this summer trying to contact them to follow up with our case and they never called or followed up. It's simply a scam, to get money from you and they give you a product that definitively does not work. Avoid using them. Not sure how to get reimbursed, it's been under a year too. Sad they are allowed to do business, just read the reviews, I can relate. Call Premier South, they are wonderful! read more

Leaf Filter did an amazing job installing the product, but the salesman promised us 2 year financing with 0 % interest. That was either a lie or a mistake has been made because we just received the bill with 6.9% interest over 5 years.. We are extremely disappointed in the discrepency. I expect to have this changed, if it is I will write another review giving a higher rating. . read more
