Hayley said the company would honor the pre-existing estimate if I wanted to move forward with the project. Within a week Hayley and the crew were at my front door. They were 15 minutes early, which I really liked. Hayley asked that I show them the project and then she went over it with the crew. Hayley made sure I had her direct number in case I had any questions. The crew did a great job, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. Hayley called approximately an hour later to follow up. HIRE THESE GUYS!!!! We can't say enough good things about A&G stucco! Andy (the owner) came to…read moregive an estimate the same day he was contacted. He was asked to prepare 2 quotes, one for a repair and recoat around a window that had leaked and been replaced and a worst-case scenario of repair and recoat the entire front and side of a 2-story house if major issues were found. The original stucco showed no signs of damage so no one thought the second quote would be needed. His quote was in line and fair when compared to others quoting the same job. He was not a pushy salesman, but was very knowledgeable about the work and how it would be done. They set up everything (taking care not to kill the established landscaping) and began removal around the window the next day. The situation went from bad to worse...the OSB behind the original stucco was degraded from hidden water damage as were significant portions of the 2x4 structure on all of the lower level. It was traumatic seeing how badly damaged the house was. Andy and his foreman Julian assured us that they could and would handle it. The crew was speedy with the removal of all the old stucco and damaged material and then completely rebuilt everything better than new. Each day they cleaned up the area and tarped it to prevent any issues from weather. The entire stucco system was reapplied in the multiple layers with fiber mesh support. They painted any knicks in the soffit and one wood window. I believe they must have stock in caulk as everything was meticulously caulked at each layer to prevent water intrusion from occurring again. These guys are true artisan craftsmen and take a tremendous amount of pride in a job well done they can put their name on, which in today's world is hard to find. There communication was above what could be expected. While the weather extended the job longer than expected, it was all done perfectly and cleaned up like it never even happened. However, by Sunday March 8, painting of the trim and touchup lacquer of kitchen cabinets were not completed. Also, AJ removed two speaker boxes from the ceiling of the Office/Sunroom to paint the trim but they were not installed back. On Sunday, after the work, Dan informed me that he will come back during the later part of the week (Thursday) to finish the job, however he wanted partial payment. I wrote him a check for $2,7000 leaving a $200 balance for the unfinished work. Dan informed me later that he won't be able to do it on Thursday, instead he will do it on Sunday March 15. On March 13, Friday, I called him to confirm that he would be coming on Sunday to complete the job. He informed me that he won't be able to do it on Sunday but instead will do it on Wednesday March 18. When I insisted that he has to do it by Sunday because my Real Estate agent has scheduled for Monday (March 16) to take pictures of the house, he agreed to come on Saturday evening/night (March 14). On Saturday March 14, around 4:30 pm, I texted him to confirm that he would be coming as he stated, however, he did not text me back to confirm that he is coming. Instead, he started giving me runaround. I texted and called him several times to make sure that it is his responsibility to finish the job and to install back the Speaker box but he declined to do that. Therefore, I feel that Dan never wanted to do the remaining work, since he already received $2,700 for the work which I find that he cheated on me.

By mid May we had several patches of weeds coming through the middle of the new gravel job. I called and text him to let him know and asked if he could come address and put more Weed barrier or replace-but we never got a response. We paid a lot to have weeds coming through already and now having to pull or spray weed killer. We were hoping he would come address the issue- but never has - so for that reason - I give them a poor quality review.. and if you have this type of work done- ask for better quality weed barrier!!
