After requesting an estimate, Matt promptly contacted me and scheduled a time to check out the tree in person. He delivered a quote in less than 24 hours, and stayed in contact about when I should expect a crew at my house to execute the work we had discussed. The crew showed up on time and was ready to work. They chipped the tree on site and hauled any remaining limbs off. When I got home from work there was no evidence they had even been there (other than the missing tree, of course). Everyone I interfaced with from Biggz was courteous, prompt, and professional and I highly recommend them for your tree needs.

I had what was really a fairly small job, and called on a Monday to see if they could come take a look at my issue. Austin answered and was there by the end of the day. He was able to provide his quote and a detailed explanation of what he thought the issue was, and he was also upfront about what would happen if any other things were found. I felt comfortable with him, so I scheduled the service for later in the week. (While I had the option to go with a less costly handyman, Austin is an expert who made me feel at ease with his assessment. Worth it!) He and his colleague were on time and quickly fixed up the issue. He assured me that he reinforced everything, and he cleaned the gutters and made sure all was good. He even cleaned up the garage as my equipment was not working, so that was a great help! I know that I paid for quality craftsmanship. While again, the job was small, he was honest, friendly, fast, clean, and got the job done. Now I won't feel quite as nervous when the next deluge comes around!

A few things that altered my rating: 1)Found out 12 mins before our appointed time that noone would be showing up. 2)The guys left 8 large scratches on our wood hearth we just built and finished. 3)They weren't fully equipped. They had to use my step ladder, dolly, shop vac and concrete mix that was on my back porch (they used this without asking). 4)Communication wasn't their strong suit. They'd leave w/o letting us know or show up and just sit in their truck. This doesn't make ppl feel safe when working with contractors. 5)Glad my kids weren't here since 1 of the helpers was cursing and started talking politics. The 2nd helper was more professional. Avis did make good after I insisted 10% be taken off after taking off of work for a no show and the scratches. Overall, they did what they were hired to do but the professionalism could be better.
