Ive been meaning to check this place out for a while now and I finally was able to try their bubble tea today! I agree with the previous reviews- the look from the outside does not compare with the atmosphere once youre inside. Every wall in the store gives a different vibe, from tropical, to garden-y, to concert poster wall feel! It's a lovely space that encourages customers to stay and hang out! Parking along 152nd Ave may be tricky but there must be more around the area I will ask them next time! I am always on the fence when it comes to anything matcha, but today I braved to order their matcha strawberry milk tea. It tasted good - the matcha flavor complements with the sweetness of the strawberry flavor. The bubble tasted fine and it was chewy enough I look forward to going back in the summer! read more

A Thai Milk Tea made to Perfection! I was hesitate if there would be the right about of sweetness to the Thai Milk Tea. I asked the girl working there what she suggest for the percentage of sugar as I did not was an over powering sugar as there was already condensed milk in the mixture of this dream. Half and half is the way too go. I totally recommend this drink! The second drink the Matcha Milk Tea is like a regular matcha milk tea. Don't judge this little bubble tea café by the outside because it's what's inside that counts! Be-leaf me, you gotta try Leaf Tea Lounge! My boyfriend and I visited Leaf Tea Lounge on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by the friendly girls working there. Of course I had to try their milk tea - my go-to and control drink to test any new bubble tea shop. I had a question between the Original and Traditional Milk Tea and the girl was really sweet to answer - Original you have the choice between Green Tea, Black Tea or Oolong with 2% milk and Traditional Milk Tea is Taiwan Red Tea with Milk powder. I wanted a richer tea taste so she suggested the Traditional route. Note: they have the option of 1/2 portion of pearls for $0.25 and full portion for $0.50 - love that choice! My Traditional Milk Tea ($4.69) was half sweet with full pearls. There was definitely a robust and pleasant presence of tea flavour and I didnt sense the milk powder, it was still very creamy. The half sweet was perfectly made as well! The pearls were chewy but not as sweet as I wished, but still very satisfying. My boyfriend ordered a lychee slush and it was great, the slush was super smooth. Lots of bubble tea and tea options here from a large range of Matcha drinks, Tea Lattés, Milk Teas, Slushes, and Smoothies. What's even better than bubble tea? Bubble Tea with bubble waffles! Love their Build Your Own Bubble Waffle ($7.99). Choose your bubble waffle flavour (Original, Matcha or Chocolate) then choose your Ice Cream, Drizzle and Toppings! I'll definitely have to come back to try their bubble waffle when I'm ready for a sugar rush. EDIT: I came back to try their Bubble Waffle. If you've never had legit HK Bubble Waffle then you can't compare but since I have - this bubble waffle is more of a cakey texture, chewy and dense consistency but a traditional HK bubble waffle is light, soft mochi-like chewiness with a crispy outside and soft inside.However, the fun that came with picking all the toppings made up for it - matcha ice cream, oreos and lucky charms - hella YASSS! It was a little difficult to eat in the cone wrap but my boyfriend and I scarfed down the sugary creation with little mess. In the end, delicious and fun but a little disappointed with the non-HK style bubble waffle. The café is small but has some good spots to sit - in the front is a couch and comfy armchairs with a small board game selection and in the back are more private table seating for 2 and a bar top area too! I would beeline my way to the back if you want to feel girly and royal in their velvet plush couch! I especially love their tea displays and they have a few baked goods as well - I was very tempted at their white macadamia cookies dipped in matcha! Overall, definitely found my go-to bubble tea café when I'm in the White Rock area. Super cute insides with delicious bubble tea and bubble waffle! Careful though, not much parking in the front lot but their is street parking. read more

Best bubble tea, slushes and waffles in town! Our favourite is mango slushie with strawberry poppas. So many flavours and variations to choose from. The loose teas and gift sets are also super nice. Lots of green and black tea flavours to choose from...way better than David's Tea! read more

I only have good things to say about this little gem found in White Rock. Leaf tea lounge has a very hipster feel to it with lots of lighting. It is also an open space where you can see your drinks being brought to life. From the quite extensive menu, I decided to be adventurous on that day and ordered the KitKat frap with bubbles. Although that drink felt highly caloric, it was not too sweet and it consisted of bits and pieces of KitKat wafers, topped with a swirl of whip cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce and a piece of KitKat at the very top. Hands down the chewiest boba pearls in the history of bobas! I would highly recommend you all to try out their boba drinks. This was a solid five star drink! read more

There was a line up in front of us as well but she kept calm and gave some suggestions to my friend who was trying to get all the aunties orders in. When I arrived here with my boyfriend, the two people working at the time were in the middle of kicking someone out who was uttering weird threats at them. They were so civil and professional about it. I got the mocha bubble tea and my boyfriend got the honeydew smoothie. For this first time, the honeydew tasted like... real honeydew. The bubble tea itself is just average, nothing special. And the price is considerably higher than other places. I order a traditional milk tea with pearls, but they don't even provide a straw. Took the kids here. Had the bubble gum and taro smoothie bubble tea and a mango slushie. Wasn't overly impressed with the bubble gum flavour. Overall both the kids and I were impressed and were extremely happy with our purchase. Other than having to pay extra for the pearls I would give it a solid 9/10. This is the only bubble tea place I go to! It's my absolute favourite, everything is amazing and not made from powder. My top drinks are the pink royale, anything with rose, and the taro smoothie!! Fries and waffles are amazing as well! The employees are very kind, quick and offer great customer service. Love this place. The environment is bright and warm and modern looking. Loved hanging out here with my friends. I had the red latte and a choco waffle, the one with ice cream and bits of chocolate bar. I thought both the red latte and waffle. Both were very sweet, almost too sweet for me. a couple days after I had a chocolate bubble wrap dusted with powder sugar as well as the oolong bubble tea with pearls - both very tasty. First off, I would like to just say that the overall feel of this place is amazing. The artwork really makes the entire vibe of the place come together. Secondly, I don't think I could ask for a better customer experience like that of the one I experienced at Leaf Tea. Although she looked quite young (probably 12 or 13) she was really receptive and super friendly (I think her name was jude). I must add that the man, Harley, was really friendly and quite cute. Now in terms of actual bubble tea, the place is very good, and offers a variety of different options for any different kind of palette. In my case, the mango black tea with tapioca pearls was really good. I can't wait to come back again!!!! read more
