Because we were staying on site I made the wise decision to go two days in a row. The first day I went splashy and got a facial at the Sisley spa inside the spa. I love Sisley products. What an incredible experience. This includes up to three flutes of M&C champagne, macarons and a sample gift. It was an excellent facial and a great start to our mini getaway. The second day I went to the larger part of the spa and had a one hour massage with April. This was fantastic. Both days I had full access to all the facilities for no upcharge. There were waterfalls, water therapy and a large rooftop pool. It was chilly out, but many of us braved the chill in our oversized robes in an attempt to soak up some sun by the pool. I got some sun on my legs for a good 20 minutes. Brrrrr! The second day I had a generously sized fruit salad pool side. The only recommendation is that they could make prettier packaging for the food. Service was perfect. I would repeat this in a heartbeat.

I came in for a 1 hour massage and added on the foot scrub. It was a full body massage that ended with a scalp massage. Marie was my masseuse and I highly recommend her. She was very attentive and asked the right questions to make sure I was in maximum comfort. The aromas are perfectly applied and not overwhelming. I loved the eucalyptus towards the end of the massage and my feet felt baby soft and clean after the foot scrub. The amenities are fabulous. The lavender meditation room is under rated. The aroma is subtle and fresh, cool temperature and dim lighting. Feels calm and not many people use it. A nice place to reset and calm your mind. The rooftop pool is nicely shaded, I read my book there for a while. I'm coming back in a few weeks to try a facial. Already booked my next massage.

There are very few massage therapists that truly 'get it'. Bella indeed has healing hands! Not all massage therapists understand and 'feel' the connection between muscle, bone, ligaments, fascia & the mind. Let me tell you, she NAILED it. Her touch and exploration of my trouble areas, then diving in with the solution with cupping and triggered massage was exactly what I would've done. Her communication throughout, her questions, her gentle silence was perfect. Her technique with muscle stretching and triggered massage points was spot on. Had the best night of sleep after her massage as well. Thank you for a great experience; your spa is lovely - great great Vibe. Loved it. Will definitely see her again. Highly recommend this spa!

Best massage I have ever gotten and I enjoyed all of the amenities afterwards. Their service is phenomenal, everyone is very friendly and the space is made to make you very comfortable. Overall a good massage but I had to ask her twice to decrease the pressure and she also didn't put an eye mask on me when I flipped onto my back, which was awkward. It was also freezing in the room and although she said she put it on warm, it never warmed up. I was ok on the warm table, but when I got up afterwards, it was still as freezing as when I got in. They recently did a renovation and the women's shower area is really nice with big individual frosted glass showers with a dry area in front of the shower so that your things don't get wet. Prior to our massages, we enjoyed the co-ed pool area which is for spa guests only, 18+. This was a relaxing area with several water features with different pressures that you could stand under. They also had two small pools to the left which was a cold plunge and a hot plunge (no jets). The views of the mountains were so relaxing and the waiter Daniel was highly available for you to order food and drinks if wanted. Then I went to the women's only area to shower. They offer the most amazing smelling salt scrub (complementary) that makes your skin so soft. Don't forget to grab a bowl! The attendants in the women's area were so helpful. In this area was also a steam room, sauna and an area to dump a bucket of cold water on yourself. They also had 3 heated beds that you can lay on for 10 minutes before your treatment. After the massage, you go in a co-ed sanctuary and lay on a bed with a weighted blanket with noise canceling headphones for 25 minutes. This bed also vibrates to the sounds you choose. One side of my headphones wasn't working unfortunately. After, this led into a co-ed lounge. The hot water maker was already put away (at 5:06pm when they close at 6pm) so I couldn't make myself a cup of tea afterwards - especially when I still felt freezing, which was really disappointing. I expected more for $295 - better snacks and tea available until closing time. I don't think that is a lot to ask for. With so many spas in the area, if ever back in Scottsdale, we don't plan to return.

Have you ever dreamed of staying in the hotel room in the middle of a wedding?! If you are…read morescreaming yes, request a casita room. We had to close our shades as the wedding can see directly into our room and the music is LOUD (Chris Brown is blasting as I type and bass, mercy is it bumping.) It was kinda creepy. We could see and hear the entire ceremony. In my reservation I requested a quiet room, and I have quiet room in my Hyatt profile. I don't think that much forethought is put into guest placement. Yes, we are paying pennies compared to this wedding BUT they are not fostering relationships with Hyatt members. (I did mention this to reception and they offered bonus points. Great BUT this is an awful last night.) The room: King Casita is an excellent size! We have a king bed and a rollaway bed and we still have space! The bathroom space is large too! I don't care for a stocked fridge and snacks. It's useless nowadays. We had to ask for a fridge to be brought in. The room is very clean, however there were a few moths flying around the room, which was odd. Pool: the pool is wonderful! We are here on spring break (a very popular travel week) and always found spots at the pool. The servers are the pool are awesome 5/5 stars! Attentive and professional. The food at the pool was great (the burger was the restaurant burger and the whipped ricotta and fruit was yummy). The location is great! We did rent a car but never had to drive far! The valet team is speedy but it's an odd service as the parking spaces are super close. (I was ready to give this place 4 stars but this last night is a stinky way to end the trip.)

The atmosphere is serene without being silent--soft music, trickling fountains, and the scent of citrus trees drifting through the air. Even as a visitor, I felt instantly transported. The food at Royal Palms strikes that perfect balance between refined and comforting. Every dish I tried felt thoughtfully composed--fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and a presentation that shows care without feeling overly fussy. What sets Royal Palms apart is the overall experience. Even if you're not staying overnight, the property makes you feel like you've escaped somewhere special. The combination of historic charm, lush landscaping, and warm hospitality creates a sense of calm that lingers long after you leave. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal, wander the grounds, and genuinely forget you're just minutes from the city. A highlight would definitely be the service provided, going above and beyond in all aspects whether an event, check in or needing assistance for something. I had the great pleasure in seeing Madison in action and her work ethic was beyond 100. She is great and a star! Very communicative, efficient and made our stay very welcome! Whether you're visiting for a meal, a drink, or simply to soak in the ambiance, it delivers an experience that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
