STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU NEED REPAIRS. Not being a local, I was shocked at the condescending,…read moredismissive way I was treated. They refused when I asked, to even describe what "repairs" they did to my bike. I tried calling them and was hung up on several times. I had to find out later FROM MY BANK when I stopped payment, the mistruths they claimed about my bike and the state it was in. They will fix things that don't need fixing, and dismiss your requests for legitimate repairs. ME: The front caliper is sticking. The left pad is pressed against the rim when I squeeze the brakes, it's literally visible. GOODY: There's nothing wrong with it. JENNIFER: The bike was "extremely" rusted. ME: The bike was always kept indoors and has ZERO rust having been constantly maintained. Afraid to use my bike, I took it to another shop outside of Philadelphia where the owner went through every test and detail with me as an honest repairman should. Stay away from Green Mountain Cyclery.

Now, normally it's off to a rocky start only because it's Monday after a holiday, but now today on this Taco Tuesday, I turned it into a Terrific Tuesday. This Tuesday, I decided to get some work done on the computer. Then I went to go get my bike fixed--not my motorcycle, an actual bicycle--and I'm excited because I stopped into the shop and they fixed my bicycle tire right away, and in less than 10 minutes. I was in and out at a fair and reasonable price. It felt great. It was short and sweet and right to the point. The guy asked me if I should get air in my tire and he did it right there on the spot. Highly recommend this place based off of the fast and efficient service. -Branden-Lee AKA B L E E
