I suppose you think I could've just canceled my rental right there and then and gone to another company but you have to keep in mind I had already driven there with my husband and my toddler to rent the van and I had already made arrangements to pick up the furniture I had to pick by using this van so the fact that I was told when I got there is actually very deceiving, whether is a $10 fee or a$100 fee, you can't expect me to re-arrange all of this stuff and go to another company when I had made this arrangement to pick up my furniture weeks ago. It was a 3-4h rental, by the way. I just had to pick up furniture, bring it to my house, bring back the van. Done. Arguing with you at the store, posting a review and answering to your very unprofessional reply is taking longer than picking up my furniture and dropping it off at my house. Bottom line's Uhaul can't give you the option to waive a fee online and then charge you that fee when you go to the store to pick up your vehicle. That's just not what I agreed online and my agreement should've been honored. That's deceiving and that's why I'm upset about. Stay away from this store. They're not honest at all.

He not only squeezed me in to fix my little outboard between his backlog of larger jobs, but he explained in detail, what the issues were, why there were issues, and showed me how the parts that failed preventing my motor from running properly. My first impression of Dennis when I spoke with him was that he was an honest straight shooter and I was 100% correct. He even went above and beyond showing me how to properly operate and maintain the used motor I had just acquired to get the maximum amount of life out it while it was in the water tank. His rates and advice are the best you'll find in Phoenix and I'll always be using Shadow Mountain Marine moving forward. P.S. Dennis is also heavily involved in Phoenix Fire Department fundraisers and charities as a sponsor. Called chris to come out to do an outdrive bellow service on my boat and replace lower shift cable…read more After the service, took the boat out for the first time and the boat would not go into gear without stalling. Brought it home with further inspection and realized he replaced the shift cable with a used one that was rusted and corroded. Also inspected bellows and found he used a Chinese knock off shift cable bellow that was cracked and filled my bilge full of water. Fast forward, I fixed those problems and used the boat for the rest of the season. New season coming up, took boat in to get serviced and inspection. They sent me pics of the drive shaft rusted, gimble bearing rusted, and now have to rebuilt the upper part of the outdrive for a total cost of $5,500!!! The mechanic said it was due to the bellows not being serviced properly. Do not recommend!! Total shade tree mechanic!!
