I pretty much never add reviews because I'm just not that type or feel eloquent enough to do so…read more That said, just w o w. Absolutely fantastic. Got the cucumber salad which was cucumber slices in a garlic/vinegar marinade and hot and sour soup as starters. Both were exceptional. The Dim Sum sampler we got had samples of pork/beef/veal&cheese/chicken/spinach. Perfect size, perfectly seasoned and pillowy heaven. Loved it.

One note for my fellow Americans, the portions in Switzerland aren't big. However, I prefer quality over quantity. Prices here are elevated like everywhere else. I started with the cucumber salad, which I order at every Chinese restaurant. Le Dim Sum's is top 5. The cucumbers had enough crunch but were well marinated and there was some heat available by way of some thinly spiced Serrano (I think...) peppers. While I ate around them they added a slight energy. I also had the pork and cabbage dumplings which were excellent. Finally, I had the Sichuan beef with a side of white rice. It was outstanding. The beef was tender and good quality. There was a selection of vegetables, the typical ones you find in America but also some "upgrades," like purple broccoli. The brown sauce it was perfectly seasoned. After an 11-hour flight enduring horrible airline food, Le Dim Sum was the perfect "cure!"

Amazing and authentic Chinese food in a nice part of Geneva. There is a pretty extensive menu,…read morewith dim sum as well as all classic dishes. Menu in French and English with photos. Helpful, as they don't speak French or English with a huge vocabulary -- more than enough for regular ordering, but when I asked for mustard in English/German/French, didn't help -- had to go to google translate to learn the Chinese word. (More recenty developed food words are often very specific and not translated but taken into foreign languages directly, but mustard is old enough to be distinct, plus Chinese mustard to me is a totally different condiment than, say, brown deli mustard). Food came out in a couple minutes, freshly cooked, and the things I ordered were all excellent (hot/sour soup, crispy bbq pork, and chicken with chili and peppers and onions.) Restaurant dining area itself is nicer than previous reviews made it seem; it is not a 5 star hotel lobby or anything, but it is actually quite nice, quiet, and attractive. If there were a Chinese place even 75% as good as this in Zurich I would be really happy. This would be a solid choice in San Francisco or Vancouver.

Have been coming to Boky for many years. But it's recently gone through some major renovations…read moremaking look a bit more nicer, using iPad menus to order, a whole new and much shorter menu, and a new name: Asia Garden. But the food remains good, and always a nice option among the other Chinese restaurants in the area. Also good that they open late, to midnight on most nights.

Jeck's is probably the only (authentic) Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant in Geneva. And it's really…read morereally good! My favorite here by far is the curry laksa -- it's so good, but the beware the mild-hearted cos it's on the spicy side! The salted egg yolk shrimp, kangkong belacan, and any of the curries are also very good. Jeck's has been around for a long time and very popular among the international crowd, especially Asians. Whenever I'm in Geneva, I drop by... sometimes multiple times in a week! It never disappoints.

We had a reservation for 7:30 but really didn't need it as, except for a couple of other tables, it was quite. Complimentary Shrimp Chips was a nice touch. We started with aDim Sum (Shrimp-4 pieces) appetizer. Light and tasty with Soy Sauce. Ballantines and Singha were the beverages for the meal. For a spicy dish, we got the Noodles Crevet (Malaysian) with Shrimp and Chicken. Just the right amount of heat and was enjoyed. Form the Menu's "Suggestion" section we went with the Crispy Beef. This is not a spicy dish -the seasoned crunchy beef was delicious. Our original Server was friendly and left before we finished. Our second server was friendly also. That said, service suffered a bit as he was the only server (although it wasn't busy). Overall, smaller, cozy spot with an extensive menu (almost overwhelming) of Malaysian/Singaporean/Thai cuisine.

Ate outside in this quaint red light neighborhood. Things that were supposed to be crispy were. The dim sum as excellent. And the sauces on the main dishes were well spiced and tasty. You could even tell the difference between them. So often it is hard. I often stay on a hotel not far from here for weeks on end. I will be back to this little place. And they do take out, a feature I intend to use next time I hold up in my hotel room for the weekend with a writing chore.

We went to this place to have lunch and ordered food and drinks. We got our drinks. The staff are…read moreextremely nonchalant about their customers, however, our drinks arrived with a small dish of fried heavily salted peanut which also had a fried worm. We called one of the waiting staff and he come and acknowledged that it was a worm and was apologetic and took to the 2 ladies in the front and then after 10 mins, came back told us that it is dried peanut. Like 2 of us and their other waiting staff are stupid and blind. The nonchalance of finding worm is the food is a shock. Since this shows this is not the first time and they are aware of this. Disgusting place. Don't go there, they should actually be sealed shut. We refused to eat there, and left. They waived the drink charges and we didn't pay. Mind you, they did this for so called 'dried peanut'. Do yourself a favour and go few blocks down and eat elsewhere. Don't eat in this shitty wormy place.
