I wanted to give this place between a 3 and a 4 but since I'm the first reviewer, I thought I'd give it the higher rating. For Geneva, this place has pretty decent Chinese food, in terms of flavor. Service can be a bit slow at times, but it was an overall good experience. Would definitely go back.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel and we needed a Chinese meal. We found the atmosphere very pleasant. Clean and the menus were new, a rarity in Chinese restaurants in the States. The wait staff spoke perfect English. We found the choices very extensive. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals very much. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Found this out of luck during our trip to Geneva, turned out to be a good find. We had several dishes and all tasted good.

We really liked this place. The food was very good and the service also. They have a large menu with a lot of variety.

Have been coming to Boky for many years. But it's recently gone through some major renovations…read moremaking look a bit more nicer, using iPad menus to order, a whole new and much shorter menu, and a new name: Asia Garden. But the food remains good, and always a nice option among the other Chinese restaurants in the area. Also good that they open late, to midnight on most nights.

My boyfriend and I came to Boky for lunch one day around 3, because we needed something fairly…read morequick and we (or at least I was) were pretty sick of fondue at that point. For the weird time, it was still pretty crowded. Vietnamese spring rolls - tasted like they left it in the fryer for a tad too long Salt and pepper fried squid - the flavor was okay, but it wasn't really that crispy. This had the opposite problem of the spring rolls. Chicken and salted fish fried rice - very little salted fish. In fact, I'm not sure there was even any in there because I didn't really taste the salted fish. It was pretty much just chicken fried rice, which wasn't bad. Beef with vegetables - pretty standard. The portions are small (at least compared to NYC) but with the amount we ordered, it was enough for two people. We had some leftovers. So if you are doing family style and have a large group, you might want to order a bit more. I'm not sure how many other Chinese restaurants are in town but I'm thinking there has to be a better one somewhere. Basic food aside, the atmosphere is kind of shady. Apparently there's a gambling machine in the back by the restroom, with shady dudes hanging around by it and smoking cigarettes. Maybe takeout and bringing it back to the hotel would have been a better option.

During a recent trip to Switzerland and France, I was curious not only to try the local cuisine,…read morebut also to try some restaurants from other nationalities to see what the local interpretation would be of these cuisines. Jardin D'Asie provided an opportunity to experience a Swiss take on Chinese food, and compare it to the Americanized Chinese food that I am used to. Jardin D'Asie is located on the top floor of a small shopping mall, in a well-lit and airy space. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and there were members who spoke French, English, and Chinese. We always had a full carafe of still water for the table. The menu was lengthy and contained many images of dishes that looked more like depictions of the real food you might get, and not stock photos or dressed-up versions of the dishes. Most of the dishes were familiar to me, but they had a few things on the menu that were either unique or I was missing something in my French-English translation (Jamboneau façon Shanghai, for example). I wanted to get something familiar so I could make a direct comparison to other versions of Chinese cuisine, so I ordered squid with leeks and ginger. Our server came out with metal plate warmers that contained small tealights, which our plate sat on until the main course arrived, and then our food sat on them! It was nice to keep our food warm, but did take up a fair amount of space on the table. My dish had plenty of squid and it was pretty nicely cooked - maybe slightly overcooked, but still tender enough to enjoy. The flavors of ginger and leek were both strongly and pleasantly present, and the sauce had a typical cornstarch-thickened glossiness. I'd consider this a solid take on this sort of dish, not particularly different than restaurants in North America. My dining companions praised their own dishes (spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and a duck dish) as well. All in all, an enjoyable Chinese meal in Switzerland!
