The course is pretty much located in the middle of nowhere with the exception of a few newer homes when you enter the track. The clubhouse is a temporary building which was disappointing BC the course itself is a real gem. The course plays just under 7200 yards and has 4 sets of tee boxes. The course is immaculate on the tees, fairways, sand traps and perfect greens. I booked a on line tee time and received a discount and I found out the PGA Zurich qualifier was held here the day before. Pace of play was great and we finished the round in about four hours with no waiting what so ever. I would definitely recommend playing this course if you're visiting the NOLA area. It's so worth the drive BC it's reasonable and in way better shape vs the courses closer to the city.

Which is also one of the Premier grasses that the PGA Tour chooses to use on its tournament courses throughout the tournament events. I was really impressed with the well detailed Course cleanliness of an old traditional style Southern Oaks Deep South feel. You may think that this will be an easy course to conquer but, with the fast greens and narrow fairways from that hundred year old oaks. It's a true challenge as you have to put the ball in place if you want to score well.
