You can tell that they couldn't make it offshore so they decided to go here. Their telling you to eat healthy while they eat pizza. The coarse is over kill. I can see having a young guy do 900 stairs but an OIM that's 50 years old is terrible. Half the things that you have to do , you will NEVER have to do offshore. If your heart rate gets to high, you fail and go home. I recommend not sending any employee here. Send them somewhere else . I enjoyed Chanell coaching as she seems to be the only one with any common sense. Again- do not send employees here- out of 15 guys we had 15 bad reviews. Expect to at least be there 3 hours of going up stairs 47 times.

Since my wheelchair has a specialty wheel, no one in Lafayette had a replacement tube. Andre @ Acadiana Bicycle said if I would bring the wheel over, he would see if he could fix the tube. When I got there, Andre wasn't available, but James came out to my car, got my wheel and went to work on it. In a mere 15 minutes he was back, tube patched and charged me just for the patch and nothing for labor. I was not an existing customer and had never done business with Acadiana Bicycle. However their level of customer service was over the top! I cannot say enough kind things about them. If you are in Lafayette, LA and have any bicycle needs, I strongly recommend these guys. Ron G. This is probably my favorite place to get outdoors in Lafayette!…read more I discovered the Nature Station a few months ago, and now I go probably once a week to hike (or, at least get as close as I can to hiking in Lafayette). If you're just looking to hike, you have to park outside of the gates of the campgrounds and follow the trail up to where the building is and the trails/boardwalk begin. The front part of the Nature Station includes a boardwalk loop, and several short trails that offshoot from it that are all in an easy to follow network. What I like to call the "back part" is just across the coulee, and you have to walk across a big bridge to get to it. I usually come to explore by myself and head straight to the back part where there aren't as many people. There's a big 2-3 mile loop in the woods back there, and an interactive meditation exercise along a little trail that cuts the big loop in half. The 2-3 mile loop is really nice, and, like I said, usually there aren't too many people. One part of it takes you up to hike along the banks of the Vermilion River, which I really enjoy. One thing to note is that it can get a little muddy! There can be puddles as high as ankle or lower calf deep in some areas, even several days after it has last rained. So, just be prepared and wear some good water-resistant boots. I would definitely recommend checking this place out! There's tons of wildlife to look at too. Just don't be making my secluded little trail in the back too busy
