I ordered the Grilled Conch, with fried green Plantains. The Conch was very flavorful and tender, they know what they're doing here because Conch is that Seafood if you don't know how to cook it, it will be chewy. The plantains was not my favorite, they were not pressed enough and I like them more on the crispy side, these were too thick, but they were okay. The lady that greeted me brought out a sample of the seafood Chowder and I wish I ordered some to go, it was delicious!! I also ordered some Conch Fritters, very flavorful, a bit too doughy for my liking, much better than any Conch Fritters I've had here in the US, I'm from the Bahamas so my standards for Conch Fritters are above average. Overall great place and I will order from here again and I think they will do great!!

The table and seat were dirty when we first walked in so the hostess wiped off the table and knocked the crumbs from the seat cushion onto the floor. The menus were torn and dirty. They need new ones. They should have laminated them. The restroom had a horrible odor and just not vey clean. The icing on the cake was the hair in my food. Not sure if I would go back.

My biggest gripe with them as of late is with their All-You-Can-Eat Taco Tuesday special and its new format. I've been here a few times for Taco Tuesday, and have enjoyed it each time. The tacos have been delicious, and the service had been quick so the tacos were flowing (even though I personally can only do two rounds of tacos before I'm stuffed). This time, my fiance and I excitedly came to AYCE Taco Tuesday excited, because it had been a few months since we were last there. Huge disappointment. They changed the format. It used to be what you could expect anywhere that does a table service AYCE--you place your order, the server brings out the food, and you enjoy. Rinse and repeat until you've had enough. Not anymore at Bandoleros. We were SHOCKED to be presented with what basically looked like a cafeteria lunch. It was a big tray with all of the taco ingredients laid out in little condiment cups, with the tortillas on the side. We have to assemble the tacos ourselves now! They also turn the place into a "clubstaurant" after 8pm, so don't come here if you're just looking to eat tacos and chat with your loved ones. There's a DJ that comes in and absolutely BLASTED the music. All of us strangers in the section we were in looked at each other in disbelief of how loud the music was. I think our reaction was the only reason why they turned it down. I'm no party pooper by any means--I actually liked the music being played but I was there to eat tacos, watch the World Cup, and chit chat! We asked our server why the AYCE format changed, and we were told that the kitchen had been getting "overwhelmed with people requesting substitutions and modifications" on the AYCE tacos (which are super simple to begin with), so they decided the best way to remedy that was not to tell people "no substitutions", but instead to simply give us all of the pieces and say "do it yourself". What a WILD way to address that issue. It's one thing to order a dish (like fajitas) where it's understood that you'll be doing some "assembling" of your food, but to have customers assemble their own tacos is unbelievable. I guess we'll be looking for a new Taco Tuesday spot!

Our favorites were the potato croquettes with garlic aioli, fried green tomato salad, porcini campanelle, and the grilled cider pork chop. The pork chop was AMAZING: so tender and so flavorful! All the food was perfectly seasoned; not once did I look for a salt shaker. The icing on the cake was the staff. We had wonderful and attentive service from the bartender, Ricky, and our waitress, Jo Jo, and the owner, Roberto, came by several times to check on us as well. The other staff members we encountered throughout the evening were super friendly and made us feel welcomed. We are looking forward to returning!

Located just upstairs from its sister restaurant Flora Italian, this beautiful new space already feels like a place people are going to be talking about. Manager Fernando greeted us and generously took us on a tour of the restaurant. The space itself is warm, stylish, and inviting. The kind of place where you can easily picture settling in for a long dinner with friends and a bottle of wine that somehow turns into two. Right now they're in a soft opening phase, with bar bites as the only option until the full grand opening in mid-March 2026. If these "bites" are the warm-up act, the main show is going to be something special. The fried stuffed risotto, grilled octopus, and grilled Italian sausage bites were all prepared with real care and attention. Each dish felt thoughtful, balanced, and frankly a little more refined than you expect from something labeled "bar bites." If this is the preview, the full menu should be fantastic. We're told it will feature a full upscale, authentic Italian lineup once the grand opening arrives. But great food is only half the story here. Fernando, along with owner Angela, elevate the entire experience with warmth, personality, and a level of hospitality that's becoming rare. We walked in as strangers. We left as friends.
