Every person that I know, who has received a spray tan from this business, looks so completely natural I would never guess it was a spray tan. And I can usually detect a spray tan from a mile away! Not only do they offer superior products and will even customize to create your own specific color, they are also wonderful when you call and have questions, especially for those who don't know a lot about spray tanning, you get people who answer the phone that are kind, that act like they truly want your business, they take the time to answer all of your questions and they do it in a friendly above and beyond professional manner! Especially as a male going to get a spray tan, I had a few questions about some private areas, lol! The owner of the shop and her associate were able to anticipate what I was trying to ask, and they made me feel so comfortable and set my fears aside. I tan very easily and naturally in the sun, but having a little bit of background in healthcare, and seeing a relative die of skin cancer at age 24, who was a professional water skier...it is not worth the risk of cancer and not to mention I spend money to try to keep my skin looking good and the sun will eventually catch up with you and ruin your skin. It is still so hot in there, it is unbearable with the heat coming in. It dangerous for people to have to be in these conditions inside especially for the workers Id say. Especially with the tanning beds I feel like it makes it even hotter . For being in the desert and it being summer the AC should be kept at a lower temp. read more

The person who helped me was very nice! I don't think it was an employee, just a friend helping out the owners but they were very nice! The stand up tanning bed I went into was kind of a joke. The person told me how to turn it on (I don't think it's set remotely) and just let me go. I counted at least 8 bulbs out. That is not okay! One or two bulbs, I understand but eight bulbs? Hot patches galore. Come on. There was no question from the employee about how many minutes I wanted or options that were available so I assume there's only one or two beds. It's also possible this person wasn't too familiar with the equipment so I'll give a pass. I got out of the bed before it went off. I was vacationing from LA for a few days so for how cheap the salon was ($20 for a session) I wasn't going to complain but this is in no way a 4 star salon. Made me appreciate the high level of service I get in Los Angeles even if they cost more. I want to add, Covid precautions were fine. I'm not paranoid by any means but everyone in the salon was wearing a mask and there was plenty of hand sanitizer and sanitation solution to clean the beds. I love this place. It's close and reasonably priced. The only thing that bugs me is the one woman (I don't know her name), who works at the front desk. She is too interested in her phone and makes you feel like you're bothering her. Not good service. However, the other woman who works there is a total gem; she was sweet and showed me to my tanning bed and gave me all necessary instructions. It's a cute business, but it's time for an update. Worst spray tan I've ever had. Uneven and streaks galore. Told her it looked like it will be blotchy the first time before I left, but she assured me it would wash off even. I was right. Had to go back to her so she could fix it and she tried to "fix" it for free but it made it worse. A waste of $55. Le Star Tan was alright. I came to this place cause I was doubtful of the bulbs and tanning at my gym. Next time I know better. Timers on the beds don't work and I was told that the lady would come to get me when my 12 minutes were up so I wouldn't burn. She never did come. Thank god for the timer on my phone and my own brain. When I commented and thanked her for coming to get me she just laughed and said "oh yeah I forgot!!!!". Also the bed was questionable. I don't use the tingle lotions and I am POSITIVE that there was residue on the bed as my back was on fire from the residue. Aside from that the place is a little unkempt and not just out dated but rundown. I can handle bad decor but rundown and unkempt is a bad combination. Combine a bad combination with bad service and its FATAL. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. read more

I got a spray tan here on a trip to Palm Springs two years ago and it came out perfect! I took off one star for the skimpy curtain that separates you from the waiting room. It just felt dangerous and I could see glimpses of people there, so I'm sure they caught gimpses of me in only my underpants. That aside, the girl who took care of me really knows how to make the tan look real. (I wish I could remember her name.) You have to leave the solution on for several hours and it does look a little too dark to be real during that time, but once you rinse it off you look perfectly brown for at least a week. Always best to shave and exfoliate tons before you go, and then of course no exfoliation afterwards to keep the tan. The woman told me not to look down at her while she sprayed, which is really hard to avoid, but I got a dark line on my neck from the wrinkle I made looking down. Fortunately, that only lasted until the rinse and she told me that in advance, so I wasn't worried. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and it was super easy to find as a non Palm Springs native. read more

This is a great tanning salon! The prices are GREAT and the beds are ok. The 12 minute beds aren't the fanciest as far as space to have your knees bent a little but for $20/session you can't beat it. The manager lady is super super sweet I'll come back here any time I'm in Palm Springs! read more

This Tanning Salon is AMAZING! The owner is always super nice...and super NY! I live in LA and when I come to Palm Springs, CA I make sure to get my spray tan right away! I am very fair skinned, so I'm an expert in the field of spray tanning! She uses a solution that has no odor, is not at all orange, and looks EXTREMELY natural! The owner sprays the tan on by hand and it's always the perfect color. After 4 hours I rinse and am pool side! Also, when the tan fades, it fades evenly which is nice. There are NEVER any streaks.
