A half salad and/or sandwich or half soup. Maybe a spud? My go to sandwiches are either the chicken and avocado -or the Italian. The Italian, I do not recommend for a to go order, because your bread and your clothes will be drenched in the messy oil- vinaigrette type substance on that particular sandwich. Same as the Reuben. I love their Reuben!! However, today I got a simple chips and cheese dip pick up. I am really glad how well they plan your drippy take homes, with a plastic wrapping for the nacho dip cheese. They will toss in a small sample cup with a lid full of sliced jalapeños. I do recommend! *if you're not on a lunch break, enjoy your meal anyway. Try a 50/50 tea!!

Well the guy delivering food to tables said he'd bring it out. 10 minutes more passed beyond my pickup time, and I went to the counter. He "forgot and got stuck on a call". No apology. I then waited a few minutes more before someone gave me my order from the back. And I had no honey mustard that was supposed to be in my order. This wouldn't normally bother me so badly, but it all took so long that lunch break was over. Honestly it's so expensive to eat here that I won't be back without a good coupon anyway.

The little convenience store and bait shop known as TJs is a busy stop on the far north side of…read moretown for locals. But there's a little extra offered if you bring an appetite. I occasionally stop in for classic deli meat sandwiches on sliced bread. Let's be honest, we all know a plain ol' sandwich on light bread is way better when someone else makes it for you. I again had Oliver's Sandwich--it's not on the menu but it's buttered and toasted bread, topped with fried bologna, a perfectly fried egg, benefited by the addition of crisp bacon, then American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and dressed with both mayo and mustard. Like take me back home to the days of my summer youth!! So tasty and perfect for lunch! No sides were needed because its a big sandwich and is incredibly filling. Maybe room for improvement with a slice of cheddar instead of American but it's already so so good as is. TJs also has a menu offering a variety of options like different types of burgers (bacon, Swiss, patty melt, etc), hot sandwiches, a variety of cold sandwiches, and sides like tots or fries. I've before had a couple burgers and they've all been good, it's just this is my go to place for fried bologna sandwiches. The store has lots of drinks, chips, snacks, and hotbox items to choose from to accompany a meal. The ladies behind the kitchen counter are always accommodating and friendly, and they're quick to get the order made and served to the table if eating in. There's half a dozen tables near the cashiers counter that will seat up to 6-8 each. The tables are near windows so you can sit and watch outside too. It's busy, and there's most usually lots of people going in and out, getting fuel or bait. Stop for whatever is needed but if you desire a meal they certainly have worthwhile sandwiches.
