The overall score was low mainly due to every thing being lackluster. Nothing was offensive but neither was it really good. Chili bowl was almost cool, not even lukewarm. No cheese, no onions. Nothing offered. One Sandwich was roast beef, cheddar with horseradish. Hardly any meat for almost $10 sandwich. Potato salad was similar to grocery store brand type. French dip was better. Great sandwich and salads. My favorite is pick 2, half a sandwich and half a salad. The French dip is great. Love their pecanberry salad as well. My daughter ordered the McAlester club, which is her favorite. The tea and lemonade are great. I'll order the potato with chipotle chicken with bacon. The chipotle sauce was just poured over the top of the potato, and it was very hard to get through to get to the potato. It would've been so much better if it was given on the side to pour throughout the potato and mix it up. I thought the chicken was supposed to be grilled, it wasn't, and the bacon was not done. it looks like they just waived the bacon over the heat and just chopped it up and threw it in the potato. This is the first time I've gotten one of those stuffed potatoes, I've never disliked anything before until now. read more

To suggest that the employees working here would have a better shot at finding their own butt than actually getting an order correct in a timely manner, would be something I would never suggest If I were speaking of McAlister's in any other location, but somehow this location has accumulated the most improbable crew of people uncommitted to service. It's nothing for them for an order to take an hour, or for the food to be overcooked/old, for items to be missing or substituted in Togo, or for entire menus items to be reinterpreted as deconstructed allegories of recipes, missing entire ingredients of the whim of the deli artist. Terrible service is a understatement pickup lady I guess forgot about us after we were told to pull up. Went inside waited finally got my order with no apology as it had been sitting on the rack. We were then given the wrong order and had to drive back. Once again no apology and then was told we ran off too fast for them to catch their own mistake. We stayed down the road from here while in town to see a doctor in Fort Gibson back in April 2021. The food is AMAZING. We ate here multiple times. By far our FAVORITE place to here while we were there. Staff was super friendly. DELICIOUS! read more

I ate there 3 times last week food was always good , but today I ordered a McAlister's club and it had a disgusting amount of mayonnaise and the bacon was so burnt u could taste it , and on top of that y'all forgot the honey mustard. Online order was incorrect. I didn't find this out until I arrived home. I was not going back to have it corrected. The only reason I gave it this many stars was the employee working the window was very pleasant and greeted me with a smile. I requested Mayo instead of mustard but received mustard. Then requested a brownie but received a brookie. The sprite was out of syrup & needed to be replaced. The pickup line was very busy but I guess next time I will go through each item & make everyone wait who was behind me. read more

You can't order from the pickup window not even just a soup and tea. Then when you use the app they make you wait 30 minutes to get your food to you because someone is too lazy to go to thanks sign and deliver Even though a tip was left. You will have to return to pickup window. So if they ask you to pull forward and wait my advice is no unless you want cold soup. No crackers or utensils for the soup guess I'll drink. read more

I love McAlister's, but the one in Muskogee is lacking in the area of management. The employees are not friendly, and the food is just thrown together with little care. Disappointing to have such a good brand here, with employees and management that don't take pride in it. read more

I love McAlisters and love they are in Muskogee. Sadly last couple of times we have gone the service was not customer friendly. If at all caring that they were even there. I want to support as many businesses as possible during this time but I can't support a business who doesn't focus on friendly employees. The last time it took over 35 min for our food to come out no problem they were busy but I saw two employees walking around the lobby doing nothing. It was actually almost comedic because he was in a daze and didn't speak to a single customer. Then a manager comes running out in such a hurry he didn't even or could even take the time to be a manager and see all the issues. Poor guy I really felt for him. I really just wish the company can see this and come down to Muskogee and do a secret shopper test. That way they can see what everybody is experiencing. If your short staffed... no worries. If your busy... no worries. If your customer service is horrible there is no excuse. Even when all those things are going on the customer service can change around any experience.
