My friend ordered the same but with fries, it came out to 27$ with taxes. It is a bit pricey but you get what you paid for. I would recommend the 4oz which is enough.

Upon entering its a really nice looking place, lots of seating, yet for a lunch time it appeared to be rather sparsely populated. I am quite use to Thai Express' level of service, which is "express" level, at most locations you're chowing down before McDonalds has even finished microwaving your burger. I am also use to the Caribbean temporal anomaly called "Island Time" where everything happens in slow motion due to the lack of motivation of the island's inhabitants. Little did I know that Island time also referred to the West Island of Montreal, but it appears to have found its home in this particular stretch of DDO. The first bad omen -- no one is working at the cash. I stood there a good 3 minutes before someone finally meandered over, after placing my order I stood and waited, there was no one cooking anything, and now a few others placed orders after me, still no one manning the wok. Finally after about 10 minutes and being quite hungry and frustrated I asked why there was no one cooking and swear to God, this is what I was told. "The cooks are off having lunch" to which I replied "That's ironic, I'm here for the same reason!" It took me another 5 minutes to get my money back as no one knew how to use the cash register, I then went somewhere else. Funnily enough when I told this to a friend he told me this place is known as a disorganized disaster, and the google review of it pointed out the same.

Tasty, fresh, good portion, but over priced! Not what I expected! My mom is so mad!…read more My mom wanted sushi but her fav place wasn't opened for lunch so I suggested she try a new place since she was hungry. Found this one on Uber and thought a Poke Bowl would be a nice experience for her to try since she could use a spoon. It was 2 for 1, so we were testing to see if this is something we'd like to make our new "go to" when the price went back to normal. I've had poke bowls elsewhere before, they're usually a really nice assortment and sometimes there's so many ingredients that they don't list everything, or there's usually something special about it to justify their prices. This being 25$ at regular price is the most expensive I've ever seen, so I was expecting something fun. Wow... no. it's literally just 4 topping ingredients of edamame beans, cucumber, avocado, and salmon on a bed of rice with a layer of lettuce, and drizzled spicy mayo and dark sauce. The sesame seeds listed in the menu were missing, not like that would have saved the dish anyways. My mom was so angry, saying this is worth 10$, and sadly, I agree with her. Usually pokebowls are anywhere from 12-21$ and they have more ingredients than this... so for 25$, they should have at least made the fish more of a luxury selection instead of a common one. We really feel ripped off, I don't recommend. This was insulting, I'm very embarrassed. I can't imagine what excuse they have for this price, because even a rich area like Beverly Hills who literally cater to the rich and wealthy would make the quality of their content merit their high prices. This feels more like they're taking advantage of people who don't know any better, it's got "it's not my money" vibes and I cannot support this.

Well we got there on a Saturday night at 7:30 and the place was busy and the hostess asked if we had a reservation . Which we said no . They did have one table open. The menu has a good variety of tapas style dishes but limited on a meal for one person . We ordered Tuna poke , garlic fried rice, small order of bacon fries, cauliflower wings for 2 people . The food came hot . The tuna poke was fresh and tasty but no rice . The garlic fried was crispy and flavourful . The bacon fries were crispy and tasteful. The pork bacon was crispy thick chunks . The cauliflower wings were great . Cauliflower wings had a light batter crispy with an interesting thai sauce. The food was great but needed extra sauce. The only negative aspect was the service . Since they are new they are working out the kinks . The staff was very friendly and had a good attitude -which made up for service . We ended our meal with French toast pound cake with ice cream topped off with Nutella . Which was great. Kale Bacon is sure a hit and we will be back .

They were sold out of a few key dishes ( it was Friday at 1pm). The fries however, are really really good. It's quite pricey for what you get. I won't be back and don't recommend it.
