And I loved it I could say it was the best poke I've had in MTL so far and I've tried alot of places. Also I feel like the balance of sauce that they put are perfect for the entire bowl itself because some places they barely put any sauce and when you mix it, the poke bite can somewhat be dry but this one was just perfect also the service was super fast and the guy working there was nice I definitely recommend this place. They have a small eating area if you want to eat there but a take out option is more convenient

I think a lot of people caught on without Yelp raving about it. This place served a mixture of Japanese and Korean dishes by Koreans. I got the poke bowl and it is so good and so fresh! I saw how it was made and yes, they don't put all their ingredients on their counter. They cut it one at a time, so it will be fresh when you get it. Nonethless, this little hidden place is a hit in the neighborhood. They caught on before the Yelp community.

I thought the poke bowl would be the usual but was very surprised at how delicious the sauce was! It's a mix of teriyaki and spicy mayo and it's just divine. I especially loves the mango and takuan bits in the bowl. The fish in the sushi rolls were really fresh as was the rice. We loved the sauces that went with the different rolls. It's a little bit more expensive than the average poke/sushi place but it's worth it. I enjoyed the ambiance although there was a lingering smell of cleaning products. But I would definitely come back and eat the same thing again.

Although we were the only customers in the restaurant, their online delivery service tablet would not stop going off, so we figured the food must be good. And it was! I got the Shushu poke bowl, which had a mix of salmon, tuna, and tempura shrimp. Good rice to protein ratio, good dressing, and a good mix of bell peppers/ avocado / mangoes. My mom got the eel poke bowl, which was also really good with its seaweed salad. Service was good, the space was clean, and the food came quickly. Great place to stop for some quality Japanese food

The restaurant is perfectly decorated with lovely but subdued color of yellow, orange, black and white. I was seated by the window, with beautiful, comfy, and fluffy cushions. Our server was the greatest; he was attentive, helpful, funny and sweet. I started my meal with a nice glass of rosé. I got the most delicious butternut squash and coconut soup. The presentation was incredibly pretty. On the side of my soup bowl, succulent pumpkin seeds and kale toasted were placed. It was so good; the spices are beautifully blended; the smell and the taste of the flavors were filling all my senses. Then I received my shrimp taco, with guacamole, coleslaw, onions and cilantro as the filling. The shrimps were perfect cooked, and it had the right amount of spices. I ended my meal with a delicious latte. I highly recommend this pretty place to all. Location, restaurant, service and food deserve A+!

I am not gonna lie, I love deals so when I saw the promotion going on at this place, spend $20 or more and get a free Chicken Katsu Bento Box (which sells for $16), I was in! And my husband was game! We got the Sushi Combo 18 pieces ($16.99), and Chicken Karaage ($8) and got the Chicken Katsu Bento Box for free! I requested no sesame seeds on any of the food and they were able to accommodate 100%. Even the japchae in the Bento box had no sesame seeds. I was thrilled because many places make the japchae in a huge batch and premix the sesame seeds in. I'm glad this place just sprinkles the sesame seeds on top so I was able to have sesame seed-less japchae ;) The sushi combo was all Maki rolls, which I love. It's chef's choice, and I got 5 salmon Futomaki (raw salmon, cucumber, avocado, crunchy tempura bits and masago), 5 tuna Futomaki (raw tuna, cucumber, avocado, crunchy tempura bits, and surimi crab mixed with mayo), 4 torpedo shrimp with cucumber maki and 4 surimi crab, avocado and tamago (omelet) maki. They were all delicious. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. The Chicken Karaage were big pieces and were a mix of white and dark meat. No gristley pieces, all lean meats :) They weren't too greasy and tasted great dipped in the spicy mayo. The Chicken Katsu Bento Box was particularly tasty because it was free, lol. It was lean chicken breast breaded and deep-fried. It was crispy and delicious. It came on a bed of rice. It came with a small salad of mixed greens (like a real mesclun mix, not cheapy iceberg lettuce) with corn, cucumber and edamame with a creamy dressing. It also came with japchae, like I previously mentioned. It was a simple japchae with just the sweet potato noodles and some shiitake mushrooms, but it was good. And the Bento Box also had 4 Maki. Two of each that were like the ones in my sushi combo (torpedo shrimp and cucumbers, and surimi crab, avocado and tamago). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There are a few tables to dine in, but it's mostly a takeout place. Decor is minimal, it's more utilitarian. In fact, there's a picture of 2 ladies in traditional Vietnamese attire on a bike that I remember from the Vietnamese restaurant that used to be in that space (It was called Miss Banh Mi, and I was there with my mom in 2017). I guess the previous owners just left it there and these folks kept it up, lol. Service was good. I definitely recommend Poke Bento! Street parking only. (120)
