It was so good; the spices are beautifully blended; the smell and the taste of the flavors were filling all my senses. I initially wanted to get the triangle kimbap and asked them if they could make me one without sesame seeds. They said unfortunately they could not because they already mixed the rice for the kimbap and the sesame seeds are in the rice now. However, I could get the bibimbap and they could make me that without sesame seeds. I had just wanted a snack, but I did want to see what the Lee N Kim hype was all about so I agreed to a bibimbap (yeah, I know, twist my rubber arm, lol). I got the fried chicken one ($12.95) because I love Korean fried chicken. The fried chicken is cut up chicken nuggets!! I had the saddest face when I realized this :( It was processed chicken meat. I was so disappointed. And the nuggets weren't even crispy. The other ingredients were fine though. They use purple rice and it was quite tasty. The bowl had lots of other ingredients: edamame, kale, cabbage, carrots, oshinko, and zucchini. I got the "spicy Korean sauce" (gochujang) on the side. I customarily request they replace the crunch mix and rice with more salad (no judgement please), and they always happily oblige. You can also personalize your bowl by adding extras such as avocados, kimchi, and so on for an additional cost. If you like salmon, I would recommend the "Bora Bora Poke Bowl"; if you like tuna, I would recommend the "Tahiti Poke Bowl." All things considered, I cannot say this is the best poke bar in town, but it also isn't the worst.
