The gentleman stayed it would be white buttercream icing with the gold sprayed on top of it. We picked the cake up, it was ready on the counter, and they offered to carry the cake to the car. When we cut into the cake, the frosting was golden and the sprayed gold tasted weird. We just scraped off the gold thin layer and were able to enjoy the moist cake with buttercream icing. The price was very reasonable! We will definitely buy another cake from here.
