Came here on a whim. Unfortunately for us the manager decided to train his new employee, literally behind us. If I decide to open a restaurant, I learned these trade secrets: Bridgette is really good at not sitting everyone, so the wait staff isn't overwhelmed. Even if the lobby is full and they have seats they won't sit everyone because then the kitchen is overwhelmed. High school fundraisers is where they get a lot of their new hires. They love to hire kids because they are cheap and work hard. Their last new hire is a high school girl who impressed him when she asked for more hours. During the week they don't rush people but on weekends the bussers know to always clear tables so customers know they need to start leaving. The kitchen plays an important role in ensuring demand is met. They can prepare meals for about 10 tables at a time. So as you can see, I learned a lot about Le Peep, sadly not so much about my wife's past work week since they literally droned on and on our entire meal. Even after we commented about how they were talking loudly next to us, the manager said. "Running a restaurant isn't easy. Do you guys want to try?" We go here often and I'm continually impressed with so many things. The management does an incredible job of training because all the staff functions at a high level. We always get seated quickly and the whole experience from beginning to end is so smooth. The food is great and reasonably priced. We've been lucky enough to have Marco as our server the last 3 times we've been there and he always makes sure that we are considered without being intrusive. Been coming to this location for years. Had some of the worst service today. Everyone that checked in after us was seated before us. The server didn't check up on us and had us waiting forever. My mom and I sat on the patio of Le Peep for brunch on a Saturday morning, and had an awesome experience. There was no wait for us, we were able to be seated right away outside. They distanced the tables outside and it felt really safe, even with other people around since they were spaced out so well. The menu is extensive, I couldn't decide what I wanted to try! Eventually I landed on a skillet with veggies and a fried egg. I really recommend it, it was filling and really flavorful! So the low reviews are a big detractor for me when I try a place (usually). But, i'm a local to this restaurant location and I know how busy it gets so the 1 and 2 stars are usually upset about the wait. THESE GUYS ARE POPULAR... no question. Why 5 stars from me? Because the food is excellent. Also, they are big supporters of all the local schools (Columbine, Chatfield, Dakota). Cracks me up seeing the students "working" with staff to help earn their match from Le Peep. In the warmer months they open their outdoor patio and it's also pup friendly (for well behaved dogs). Nothing like sitting down in the crisp summer mornings and looking west at our beautiful foothills. They also have a seasonal menu, worth the tries if the tried and true menu fails to inspire. This place NEVER disappoints!!! Very fast service even when it's packed our waiter (Dillion) was very attentive, and it's nice to see a place that will have no qualms about modifying your order. Each of us had a change, and Dillion's answer to all of them was "No Problem" Also my daughter had lunch and we had breakfast and they were both fantastic Only 4 stars ... due to the $1 charge for 1 jalapeño, and $1 charge for side salsa (see picture) Keep up the excellent service, and great food!!! This restaurant looks nice, but the food isn't that good, and the coffee is wayyy too strong. I also don't like it when sides aren't automatic. If you get french toast for$10, you'll only get french toast. The green chili is too spicy. My kids just pushed their food around. read more

I've been here twice now and both times have been great. Attentive waiters, really good selection of food. Fun seasonal offerings, bigger portion size. We've eaten here multiple times over the years and le peep is one of my favorite restaurants but this location is awful. The manager Brandon should not be in the hospitality industry and should learn how to speak to paying customers respectfully. When I had a reasonable complaint he suggested that I was the problem. I had a previous incident a few years back where he skipped me in the waitlist because I was a party of one and I didn't return to this location for several years. I was shocked he was still employed here as every encounter with him is terrible. I worked in the service industry for a decade and he should find a new vocation. read more

I have to give Le Peep 2 stars. Now, this wasn't because the food was bad, it was based on the server. The server made us feel if she was in a rush and we were in her way. When we ordered, she never gave us time to speak. I was trying to tell her exactly what I want but she was onto the next question before I could tell her. She also managed to attempt at finishing my sentence before I could. Somehow, out of all that, I managed to tell her exactly what I wanted. Here is the other part, she mixed up both of our orders. I had things on my plate that my friend wanted and vice versa. At this point, I was ready to say something and I just said, "screw it". I was hungry and didn't want to wait for her to get my order again. Besides, giving me the wrong toast, I ordered an omelette that had cream cheese in it. I happened to mention to hold sour cream if it comes with it. She put the cream cheese on the side and told me about it when she brought my food. I told her the cream cheese was fine to be inside the omelette, and expected her to fix it. Nope, didn't happen. She just brushed it off like it was no big deal. Ahhh Le Peep. If you're into a combo of decadence and health (contradicting, yes!) this is a good place for you. Le Peep has the cutest outdoor dining area; it was a tad too chilly for us this past Sunday and tables were in the shade, so we opted for indoors. It was packed! But we were seated right away and had a very chatty waitress. Needing a caffeine fix, my husband and I both ordered lattes but his was the seasonal chocolate hazelnut latte, and I just ordered the standard nonfat. Both were quite tasty and could give Starbucks a run for their money! My husband really enjoyed the Desperado skillet, which consisted of eggs, chorizo and a little kick, while I went for the New Denver Omelet, which consisted of egg whites, turkey, mozzarella cheese, and avocado on top. That was not my favorite - I like my breakfasts to be really yummy and naughty for the arteries. So I'll definitely try another one of their many offerings. Still a fan, but wanted to add another experience we had there... We took our very well behaved dog a few weeks ago and sat on the patio. Our server came back with our drinks for us and water and treats for our dog. Had a great meal but when it came time to pay it was terrible. Anthony told my sister "It's not like we're going to open another register" WHAT!! Very unprofessional, not needed or appreciated. The line to pay was through the tables! Was supposed to be a fundraiser for Columbine cheer leaders and we didn't even get a chance to tell them the money was supposed to go toward the fundraiser.
