Good Food, OK Service, Overpriced Menu The food and service at Le Peep is good but it is overpriced. Eggs and hash browns were average. Belgian waffles were tasty. They also refused to accept one of their own frequent diners card (that had no expiration date) saying the card was too old and that the program had changed (requiring more dines for a free meal). I thought this was poorly handled and that they should have accepted it. There are better breakfast places (Doug's Day Diner, IHOP) within a stone throw of Le Peep. We won't be back. read more

Because of the service and quite frankly the restaurant goers, I would eat here everyday if I could. I literally had the happiest tummy leaving because the food was delicious and felt better about life because the service was that good. I had a Mexican breakfast dish, my husband went with the salmon Benedict and my mother got biscuits and gravy. The atmosphere was really great. It's a nice little breakfast spot. However, the food was under seasoned, and the service felt rushed. The skillet was disappointing as a dish, because it was under seasoned, there was barely any sausage and bacon, and the mushrooms were undercooked; when you hear the term skillet, you think "sizzle, sizzle, steaming food," but it was moved from pan to plate and the plate wasn't even warm. The stuffed French toast was also disappointing; it wasn't stuffed, but rather layered with the filling. The high point of the dish were the fresh strawberries, which tasted as if they had just been picked from the field on a warm summer day. The scrambled eggs were severely overcooked, and reminded me more of a poorly executed omelet. The vanilla latte was amazing, rivaling Starbucks, and the orange juice and lemonade were fresh. We tried this location because of a BOGO coupon and I am SO glad we did! Their menu has such a diverse selection of food that I have a hard time choosing. I am not usually a breakfast person, but I have quite a list of their breakfasts I want to try still. The food has been great each time and always fresh. Dropped into this place after coming from Ikea and before hitting Cherry Creek park. I had no expectations and this place really suprised me, in a good way. Got the Greek Goddess omlette which was deliscious and had a solid amount of ingrediants (artichokesm feta cheese, etc,). They also offer a gluten free menu which always impresses me. I'd been driving by this place for atleast a year before ever stoping to see whaty this pace was. Glad I did stop in to check it out. As the service was quick. The menu has a great selection that seems to change often kind of seasonal. The Crabby Patties are some of the best I've had if your looking for a bennidict. Terrible...came in at 11:15, order finally taken at 11:30. Waited for food for 40 minutes. When it came the eggs were not cooked and cold, corned beef hash was uncooked. Waiter said he told the owner but the owner never came out to talk to us. The waiter brought our bill (funny how you get a bill in 3 minutes but can't get your food for 40 minutes) and they didn't even give us our coffee for free for the problems. Obviously the owner does not care about customer satisfaction. DON'T waste your money here...go to a different LePeep. read more

One of the best breakfast restaurants I've ever eaten at. They sat us within 1 minute of walking in, got us coffee within 2 minutes of sitting down. Took our order as soon as we where ready. Our food was phenomenal. And was brought out to us within 5 minutes of ordering. Our server was Marcus this time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. And seems to love his job. 5/5 every time I come in. If you are on the Parker corridor, there is no where else better to get breakfast or lunch. I love coming here. I usually go in on Mondays and I love the servers and staff. The two servers are to be recommended! One is a tall blonde, and the other one a short redhead. The host is extremely nice, a little over friendly maybe, but otherwise they're really spunky and always provide great service. Now these last few Monday's have been really busy, but still they never disappoint. Ever since the manager went back and started cooking, the food has improved tremendously! Came here on Easter Sunday about an hour and a half before closing. The menu and food was good. But the service made us not want to return. Our server, Linda was abrasive and unfriendly. She made us feel rushed, often rudely interrupting our conversation to clear plates and hurry us along (we weren't taking a lot of time). I get that people want to get home, particularly on a holiday but you don't have to be so rude and unprofessional that you make your patrons uncomfortable. It's too bad because this place is down the street from us and the food is good. We would likely come here often, but I won't support a place that has such poor customer service. Being polite and respectful is your primary job. This impression was perpetuated by other staff who noisily bustled through their end of day table work with little regard for the noise they were making. Additionally, our server and this staff engaged in loud and inappropriate conversation while doing their table work. Basic customer service and manners, people. Not hard. read more

My wife and I are new to Colorado and found this great breakfast spot. With her being on the paleo diet it's difficult to find places to eat. I had the breakfast burrito which was huge and filling. I enjoy spicy food and would consider their green chili pretty spicy. They have a GF menu with plenty of options for her. The wait was about 30 minutes but that's expected on a Sunday morning. Too bad the food is so good, but we will never order from here again. After a failed to go order two weeks ago, Mike the manager mailed us 4 cards good for 4 comp meals. So we decided to try it again today. After watching the front of house manager run around like a chicken with her head cut off, confusing waiters, confusing cashiers and making customers angry with only one line to pay, one line to put your name on the list, and one line to pick up orders. After waiting 10 minutes in line watching the confusion, a nice young man helped me check my order and noticed that one thing was left out. He asked someone to get it from the kitchen. As I waited for the item, he took my payment which was the cards for the comp meals. We actually only ordered 3 breakfast meals, but I gave him all 4 cards because we had an extra side of bacon. He gave it back to me and said it was alright, the 3 cards would cover the cost. I said thank you and proceeded out the door. I got halfway across the parking lot when Carol, the confused front of house manager, chased after me yelling at me that I had not paid. There were many people standing outside waiting to go in and it was very embarrassing to say the least! I asked her what she was talking about and told her I had paid with the comp cards. She said, "Yea, but there is a balance left." I asked how that could be, but still handed her the 4th card to cover. REALLY??? You embarrass a customer like that, was it worth the cost of bacon? I had offered the 4th card to begin with and the cashier gave it back to me. I have witnessed the inadequacy of this woman before when eating in and ordering out. She is obviously untrained as a professional and knows nothing of how to treat customers. The food is very good, but I don't know how a business can survive this extremely POOR treatment of good customers and extremely POOR front of house management. We can go to MANY other restaurants nearby who appreciate our business, who get orders right, ane who treat their customers with respect. read more

The manager, an almost scary Walter White look-a-like, is less than welcoming each and everytime we've been here. As regular customers for almost over a year since finding out about their extensive Gluten Free menu we are just as disappointed today as we were the first time we encountered his grumpy demeanor. Be careful you may be asked to pay at 1:40pm earlier than closing time at 2:00. "Quote from the unprofessional waiter who complained while taking the order of how busy he was and only came back to the table for the first time after bringing drinks, to inform me of the following. " I have to leave, you need to pay" . I was a bit confused so I said "excuse me are you asking for a tip now"? Reply was "you don't have to leave, I have to leave so you need to go up and pay". I asked the cashier what the waiter was talking about and her reply was he just said it wrong and then I had to hear how he could not get his money percentages off the tables he waited on until she cashed out and everyone paid. Ok, sooooo as a customer I should be concerned about how they handle their business with paying employees and for what reason? There were still customers eating so needless to say, maybe that was a big hint to hit the road jack. By the way, he never left after I paid because I interrupted my conversation to go pay and came back to the table. Perhaps they should come on an intercom and say "pardon the interruption the restaurant closing in 20 minutes". I guess when I left, I felt obligated to tip anyway. BOO.... My husband and I went here for breakfast. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which on a weekend breakfast is not so bad. The waitress came over and made a few remarks about taking a while to order, something like she could come back next week. Listen, I was up before noon...no coffee yet so cut me some slack. Anyway, We ordered and waited and waited... No sign of the waitress. Waiting.. My husband make a remark about she must be paying us back for Taking so long to order. Still waiting....twenty minutes pass and FINALLY she comes with the food..... COLD as ICE. The carafe of coffee is empty so I ask for more and she looks at me like I asked for her first born. My breakfast is so cold the butter won't melt on the waffle. The eggs are like ice. The couple next to us complains about as their food being cold and she storms off. I tell my husband to eat his cold eggs because I am in no mood to eat spit this morning. Other than being ice the food was ok, probably better hot or even warm. read more

My over easy eggs were raw, the whites still very runny. What got to me was that the hostess / manager explained to me that if I didn't want runny whites I should have ordered them over medium! This restaurant has grown more and more disappointing with each recent visit. My family and I have been coming here for years as we live right down the street and it's sad (to say the least) to see the quality of food and more importantly the customer service become so bad. I went for breakfast with my family and ordered my usual the sir benedict omelet with a wheat english muffin. They brought out wheat toast, a cold omelet, and the chicken inside was watery and bland. The manager made a point to tell us that he should not accept our gift certificate about 5 times after they had already told us that it was ok if we used it. Then, when I asked the cashier to punch my card she replies with "Oh no, you only spent $9.38, there is a $10 minimum to get a punch"... I'm using a gift certificate, not a coupon... so technically I spent $29.38 THANKS. Last time I checked a gift cert. was as good as cash anywhere you go. Anyways, super disappointing and with Doug's Diner accross the street being much better and IHOP around the corner we will not be back... EVER. With IHOP right next door, it was a matter of which one we could get to from Parker Road. Thank heavens I pushed for LePeep. This wasn't the kind of place where we had to find something that sounded good on the menu -- the challenge was deciding what to get, out of too many amazing options. Watching the tables around us get served, everything we saw looked fabulous. The Gooey Buns we started with were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, but an unusual (English muffin) twist on the classic dough. Totally unique and delightful. Then I got the Monte Cristo Crepes -- major YUM -- and my fiance got what he called "the best breakfast burrito", and to clarify, he meant "the best EVER". He said the chorizo was perfectly spiced, not overwhelming the other flavors, the jalapenos were diced, to distribute flavor and heat evenly over every bite, the chili was perfectly spicy... It's great when someone gets that excited about food! Especially when the prices are entirely reasonable. Our server was enthusiastic, attentive, and very friendly, even though we took forever to decide what to order. Can't wait to go back for more. read more
