This spot had great reviews and was literally around the corner so it was worth a try. A little more expensive than my current wax, but my time and energy was worth more than saving a couple dollars. This place is it. It's amazing. Such a cool, welcoming space. So clean. And Meg? She's amazing. Also, she's 100% worth the price because she's so thorough and careful. You really do get what you pay for, and after my appointment with her, the price is MORE than fair for what you get. She was so friendly, so welcoming, and made me feel so comfortable. As someone who has gotten waxed a long time, I can appreciate that, but I can only imagine what it would be like going to her for the first time, probably one of the best experiences! Highly, highly recommend.

Some major pros: They use a spray to help with the pain up front They use a special lotion and will send you home with a packet of it that has special antibacterial properties to help with healing They sell some great products so it's a great little on stop shop They're super close to clementines so you can treat yourself to an ice cream for going through the wax. Not only is her studio instantly calming thanks to the artful and relaxing environment she's created, but her personality and expertise immediately put me at ease. She made sure to check throughout the process if I had any questions, and gave an understandable and detailed aftercare protocol to follow. I wound up purchasing one of the exfoliating products she recommended, but unlike some salon experiences, I NEVER felt like she was pressuring me to buy the product, which I greatly appreciated. I had stopped going for my nails a while ago and this may have been the reason why. Not sure if I want to even continue going for my eyebrows. I come in asked for the nude nails in the picture. She tells me to just get the design because the jewels might not come out right. I say no thank you. If you can't do it that's one thing but just because something might not turn out right doesn't mean I'm not going to get it. After she applies the acrylic, she asks what color do I want. I say whatever color this is in the picture. She says I don't know what color that is. I've been to other nail salons and never have to tell them anything after showing them a picture. They just get to work because they know their stuff. So I just was like well let's just do the pink instead since I'm not seeing the nude in the picture. So then she is showing me jewels with stickers on them and just starts putting them on my nails and I'm like I don't like this. None of these jewels look like the picture. In my opinion they looked childish like something that would be in a child's nail kit. So I just ask her to take them off and to do the outlining design in the picture and she says to me "Really, that looks ugly. " I'm like I don't care, thats how I want my nails now since you haven't done anything in the picture I showed you. It's not like you are wearing the nails. So, I just paid and left. I think that's the last time I'll be going there. Pictures left to right: Nails I wanted, stickers she just put on my nails and I asked her to take them off, and the nails I left with.

I waited at least a week too long for my mani/pedi and my brows were also going crazy so I reluctantly allowed Mimi to have its way with me. I get Gel Polish over my real nails for a short, neat, natural look. I also got a pedi; which was quick but very thoroughly done in the massage chair; also with matching pink Gel polish. The brow wax made me nervous because I cherish my thick brows. I only like them shaped slightly to get rig of fly aways lol... The tech did an amazing job at each and every service.
