I almost thought I was in the movie cocktail for some of the drinks being made. The food was good. The fries were well done shoestring fries- my favorite. I had fish & chips and a salad but didn't pay too much attention as I was intently watching everything going on at the bar. Fries and salad were good. Not much fish in the breading. I ate it. So I'm from the south shore and I've been to Mìle a countless number of times. My experience each time has been different and the inconsistency is what bothers me. Depending how big your group is, what night you go out and the weather, this could impact the service you get there. I agree, it's the place to go to in Brossard. The vibe here is casual, the crowd is young, the drinks menu is never disappointing and even the food is pretty good. I also like that you can play jenga. I personally don't usually like the music (a lot of mixing genre, classic rock to millennial pop to Latin to hip-hop throwbacks to Québécois hits), it's extremely loud in there but there's a decent amount of lighting. It's great that they have a private room but since they don't do reservations, the times I've gotten there just to be told that I need to wait hours before getting a table is disappointing. With this in consideration, I still give Mìle a 3.5 because you cannot ignore the creativity in their menu. read more

I went to Mile with my friend on a Wednesday evening and it was quite crowded and noisy. The interior decor is decent and the service quite fast. We ordered a plate of beef tartare and duck poutine, both were good, but not outstanding. I think that most restaurants in Dix30 are similar to this culinary level. Most likely one of the best place to grab a drink and food for happy hours drinking or late night chilling with friends. In fact , the environment and ambiance is friendly and it is nonetheless a pub. Therefore , guys , get your thirst ready for the al-co-hol!! As some said , the music is certainly not one you hear on the radio , instead you get to discover some really nice rock and viby music from mostly French artists ! It's a great experience according to me , gets the customers and crowd happy and energetic . Food wise the restaurant responded to my expectations adequately . In fact , on a table of two , we ordered a plate of nachos and some wings . Nachos were decent , you could find better in other places , but there was definitely an effort in their plate as the proportion were huge and it still tasted good to me (I am guilty of almost finishing the plate by myself :T ) As for their wings, they were excellent , well-cooked and tasted amazing under their oriental seasoning . I sincerely enjoyed this plate , I just wish I didn't eat before coming here as I would have ordered two or three other plate just of wings . Anywho, this is a great place to grab a drink and eat with friends . Don't come here as a date as the sound is still pretty loud in a pub , you'll still manage to make your partner smile as it is still a great place to hold conversations. I came here on a Wednesday night around 10 pm- no lineup - got seating right away at the terasse which was so cute! Decorated with Christmas lights. Service was kind of slow -It took a while before the waiter even came by to take our orders. They've changed the menu - that looked like a playskool menu- with bright colours and pictures of trump stamped in a corner. I had a stout - nothing fancy or unique but still took a while to receive it. If it wasn't for the loudness of the music - I would recommend this place as a cool spot. read more

Stopped by with a friend after a Sunday afternoon shopping spree in Dix30 - it was a gorgeous sunny afternoon and their terrace and mason jar drinks beckoned. Their featured drinks have a variety of "pun" names and come in 1L mason jars for about $13-$15. On the lovely waitress's recommendation my friend had a raspberry mojito and I had the "double face"; a gin, cucumber, rosemary syrup (delicious!) drink. They arrived cute, cold and tasty! We ordered the nachos and (huge!) bbq wings to share...both were good, filling snacks. They were a nice compliment to day drinking on a sunny Sunday. The music was mostly 80s (English) pop and the crowd was varied - couples and groups of friends both old and young. The washroom is rustic - with big stalls featuring interesting graffiti across the doors and a large shared farm-style sink up front. Sangria came in a masson yay and at i think it was 8-10$, the onion soup wasnt bad enough for me to complain or great enough to rave about. The salmon tartare was okay, as I can never every complain about tartares in general because I am biased to this dish but I can say it didnt make it to my top favs list. Despite the food, I really liked their terrasse and the overall theme for dining experience. I will comeback with a pack of girlies or friends because the drinks are made very very deliciously. Came for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Waited a few minutes at the door before we were acknowledged. We got a table on the terrasse. The waiter came back a few minutes later and plopped 2 plastic cups and a bottle full of warm over chlorinated tap water. We got the message that we had to serve ourselves. My partner ordered the lobster guédille and had to remind the waiter it came with a soup or salad. I ordered the salmon tartare and was given the choice if I liked it spicy I said yes. 30+ minutes later we get a nod saying it's almost ready. Although there's nothing to cook besides toasting the bread we were wondering what was taking so long. While waiting, a waitress spilled a glass of wine down a clients back and to the staff this seemed like a normal occurrence. While waiting for the food we noticed the client leave and they still made him pay! When the food finally arrived it seemed like all my ingredients were thrown in a snow blower and were caught on my plate. Dry salad with minimal dressing, cold fries, warm mayo, and over spiced tartare that had no flavour whatsoever. The worst tartare I've ever had. We had to wait a few more minutes for utensils. When they arrived it was smashed down on the table in a huge mason jar enough for an 8 place setting. I had to go through 4 forks to find a relatively clean one. The lobster guédille was lacking seasoning and flavour. It was obvious it wasn't fresh lobster and that it came from a can. Below par service. Waiter was aloof. After suffering through food that was at best mediocre (burnt calamari, so called grilled duck which was actually a duck grilled cheese, and bland squash soup), my cousin, friend and I left my husband to grab the bill while we made our way to the bathroom before the long ride home. Once done reading and taking a couple pictures of the funny sayings (who cannot relate to this), the clearly Napoleon- complexed manager was awaiting us outside, SWEARING and yelling at us 3 girls for supposedly engaging in inappropriate "disgusting" sexual behavior in HIS restaurant, and told us to pay and get out. Ironic coming from a restaurant with a pumpkin carved with "glory hole" on their Twitter page. We were visibly confused, and tried to explain what happened but were met with nothing but insults. May I add, we are well educated, well paid women between 25-30 years old, and didn't engage in his insults and screaming (online reviews being more effective anyhow). I've been here a few times. The service is so so. The food is ok. However, their bouncers have an inferiority complex that definitely needs to be put in check. I understand that I went on a Saturday night around midnight but there is no excuse for what happened. Walk in to wait in line, bouncer comes running over to tell us we need to take the line up outside. Ok that's fine however he didn't tell anyone else to take it outside. Then we see some more people go in and stand in line and they didn't have any problems or get thrown out. The place wasn't full at all, and my friend new someone there who had two tables and they were only two girls, so we decided to join them. Different bouncer lets 3 of our group in and then puts his arm right in front of my face to stop me. Eventually got let in. Sat on the terrace (half empty).
