Four years later and Entrecote is still holding up well for the times I've gone back. Last night my…read morefiance and I went here to celebrate our engagement anniversary and they were so attentive and made it feel special. We went on a Monday so it was a little quiet, which made for great ambiance to have some meaningful conversations (with a dash of wedding planning lol). The space is still moody and I really like the setup and location of the bar. Our appetizer was their duck tacos and it was light and refreshing with a fun combination of mixtures. They come in an order of three or four so that's pretty nice. We were both in the mood for steaks so we ordered two variations and both cuts were done super well. I had mine ordered as medium and wished it was a little more pink but def not complaining. Our sides were carb friendly and I upgraded for an extra $10 to their truffle parmesan fries, and my fiance had their cheesy potatoes. One highlight was their entrecote sauce which is very earthy and light with plenty of herbs in the mix. Now what really made it special was the staff bringing out a plated dessert with chocolate sauce spelling out Happy Anniversary and two glasses of champagne. It was just a very moving moment and reminded us why we continue to enjoy coming here.

This restaurant is very dark, which almost gives club vibes. The brightest thing in the restaurant…read moreis their drinks menu which literally lights up. The service is great, our waiter was new but very sweet and attentive. As far as food, it is over priced and felt like it was not worth it for me. The sea bass dish was delicious. Unfortunately, I did not order that dish, my husband did. I ordered the lamb and subbed the potatoes for Risotto. The risotto was extremely salty to the point that it was inedible. I decided to get the potatoes instead of a risotto replacement, which were okay. I ended up being charged the full price of the risotto added on to the dish that I had which was $18 added onto $58. I was not happy about that as I was not informed that I would be charged extra to substitute the side. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant, the prices of the food does not feel like it fits the ambience or food quality.

A calm and elegant evening at Mesa Street Grill. My God, I had not been there in ages, and it…read moreturned into an absolutely delightful night. Raoul, our server, was attentive, polished, and genuinely pleasant throughout the evening. The kitchen remains one of the very best in El Paso -- frankly far superior to Anson 11, which too often feels overrated and inconsistent. The fresh Ahi Tuna was outstanding. The bone marrow was exquisite in both refinement and flavor, rich and literally melting in my mouth. The Branzino was cooked to perfection. Add a great bottle of Champagne Crystal Roederer Rose with a perfectly balanced French Martini, and the evening became close to flawless. I Mesa Street Grill still knows how to deliver a true dining experience. We will absolutely be back. Tomorrow they have a special Memorial Day Weekend Sunday Brunch that will be for sure very promising!!

We had the entire restaurant to ourselves which made the night feel incredibly intimate and special. The Christmas decor was a beautiful touch and really added to the atmosphere making the evening feel warm and celebratory. Joey our waiter truly went above and beyond and deserves five stars on his own. He made sure every detail was perfect and helped make our anniversary dinner feel extra special. The food was a 10 out of 10. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and do not skip the lobster mac it is a must. We cannot wait to go back.

Forget the table. The best seat in the house might just be at the bar…read more We settled in with Cruzita behind the bar--arguably the coolest name in the building. Cruzita translates to "Baby Cross," which somehow made an already great name even better. From the start, she was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. One of the best parts? You get the full menu at the bar, so you're not missing a thing. We started with the veal ravioli, which received the highly technical and thoroughly researched review of: "So f*ing good. So good though..." Honestly, no additional notes were needed. Then came the 8-ounce filet, potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach. Everything was excellent. The filet was cooked perfectly, the sides were rich and flavorful, and those famous sizzling plates reminded us that patience is, in fact, a virtue. The portions won. We ended up packing up leftovers and taking dessert to go--a carrot cake and crème brûlée. I've had the carrot cake before and can confirm it's worth the hype. The fact that we were stuffed and still ordered dessert says everything you need to know. What really stood out, though, was the overall experience. The customer service was fantastic, the vibe was relaxed, and the atmosphere hit that sweet spot: lively enough to feel like you're out enjoying yourself, but not so loud that you're shouting across the bar. No awkward silence, no overwhelming noise--just comfortable. If you're headed to Ruth's Chris at The Fountains at Farah, don't overlook the bar. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and if you're lucky enough to land a seat with Cruzita--Baby Cross herself--you're already off to a great start. Five stars from me and from the person still talking about that ravioli.

The tasting started with a summer tomato and goat cheese salad paired with a moet a& Chandon with ice. It was really good. Moet on ice, ain't too bad. The second course was an almond crust d lobster tail paired with a imperial rosé. Nicely done, The lobster wasn't so huge, like Maine, but it was enough for a second course and paired well with the rosé. Tena nahafinaritra ny fampianarana fahatelo. Aguilar, Eddie & Diana all were great servers and presenters keeping the evening moving without distraction to the groups being social. I love Ruth Chris typically, but this pairing and tasting experience was pretty neat.
