I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. This is a tiny hotel with tiny rooms, 3-person elevator, and small lobbies. The ceiling of my room on the 5th floor was touched when I tried to put on a shirt. The shower was clean and updated--probably the nicest feature of this hotel.
The street was tiny, and there were construction everywhere. The staff were okay, but one night guy (kind if bald and wore glasses) was not very nice. The other ladies were alright.
It is in a close proximity to Arc de Triomphe (1.2 miles) the Louvre (1.5 miles), and the Eiffel Tower (1.4 miles)--all within walking distance. There were all kinds of cafes, bakeries, takeouts, and restaurants all over the place, but the city wreaks with cigarette smoke! Everyone seems to smoke all the time, everywhere. We had trouble with breathing... No kidding!!!
So, would I come back to this hotel? Probably not. Would I recommend it to others? Maybe, to budget conscious travelers who need to be close to Paris' main attractions. read more
