    Bacon lobster burger
    Emily H.

Sweet owner, fast friendly service and good food! The bisque was flavorful with a tasty combo of seasonings - there isn't any lobster chunks though which was slightly disappointing. The lobster burger is what this place is known for - the bacon was chewy and delicious and lobster was cooked perfectly. It's made w 3 slices of bread - which I could have passed on. Amazing meal but also kinda pricey so I'm going to go with a 3 stars rating. Worth trying if you've got some money to throw at it.

    Lobster and bacon sandwich. Yum.

As others have mentioned: Lobster and bacon sandwich!! Très délicieux. My husband and I made it a habit to get one as an après-dive snack. They were just that good. They are quite filling, so getting the half sandwich and lobster bisque special may better suit you, if you're not that hungry.

A fellow diver recommended the Lobster and Bacon sandwich here. We were walking around and surprisingly stumbled across this place. They had outdoor seating, which was nice. The waitress was friendly, we came around lunch and there were only a few people eating. I ordered the infamous sandwich, husband order the roast beef. Our sandwiches came promptly and smelled really good. I expected kind of like a New England lobster sandwich with mayo and chunks of lobster. This was not it. It was chunks of lobster sauteed with pesto, sandwich between wheat toast with some cheese. It was a tasty sandwich, but kind of heavy. I couldn't finish it all myself. It also could've used some acid to cut down all the grease. It also could have been a few dollars less. It was basically equivalent to a $20 sandwich. But nonetheless, it was a tasty little lobster sandwich. I love seeing lobster on the menu everywhere in Cozumel!

03-06-16. Lunch. Caprese. Awesome! Great mozz. cheese. Ask for more balsamic. It was sparse.  Aguijon de Abeja Malbec 2014 Argentina. Nice! Smooth. Easy to drink by itself. Tuna steak sesame seeded (yum!) with coconut and peanut sauce (didn't need or especially like). I got extra veggies and no rice. Wonderful presentation with veggies arranged artfully. Kirk got the recommended lobster and bacon sandwich on rye bread. I had 2 bites. It was amazing!

Amazing meal from start to finish. We went for lunch and were treated like royalty! We started with the sea scallops aguachile, which were absolutely amazing. My husband had the fish burger which came with French fries. He claimed the fries were some of the best he has ever had and the fish burger was phenomenal. I ordered paella. It was full of meat and seafood and perfectly cooked and seasoned rice. We finished the meal with almond cake, the perfect ending to an incredible experience.

Amazingly fresh juices, made to order pizza, and tomato, mozzarella with basil and aged vinegar options. Sweet setting in the courtyard well worth the visit and definitely a locals top choice.

Amazing 5 star meal!!! Best seafood on the island. The staff attends to your every need. Must visit when in Cozumel.

Caprese. I already ate some. Balsamic vinegar, mmmmm!

The lobster bacon sandwich was also recommended to me but I don't eat bread. So instead I got the caprese--- fantastic!!! Then I got the mahi mahi with lobster mushroom sauce and steamed vegetables. They also bring out some crostini with olive oil garlic and diced tomatoes on top. I scraped off the tomatoes and ate those. Then I got about 5 glasses of pineapple juice. I ate outside at the cafe tables. Le chef is across from a bodybuilding gym so you can eat and watch the show of locals pumping iron. Also Le chef has good wi-Fi. The server will give u the password. I will eat there again!!

Get the LOBSTER BACON sandwich! It is out of this world. It is only second to the diving in Cozumel! It's reason to come here.

We arrived late afternoon and we were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. A nice solid menu of Italian/Mediterranean treats plus monthly specials posted on the exterior board. Full bar service, and plenty of Spanish wines offered. Prices are very reasonable and repeat that the service is excellent. In business approaching 30 years, this was our first visit and found it through a shout out on Yelp! The business is an American owned venture but very much offerings and atmosphere of a casual Mexican dinner. Some really interesting photographs throughout the restaurant that offer some insights into the island's history, the owners friends, and even her cats! We started with some wonderful empanadas and an octopus dish that was probably one of the best cooked I've had in memory. Great seafood options and daily fish specials. Like most of Central Cozumel, street parking can be a little tricky but not a showstopper. You may be interested in looking for a yard that offers car parking to get off the streets. This held true at El Mediterraneo as well. The best bite of the entire trip, my husband and I both agree, was the lamb shawarma. I should have ordered 100 of those and just eaten them all as my main course. I also IMMENSELY enjoyed the beef carpaccio. The chicken cordon bleu was straight up WEIRD. It had orange cheddar cheese instead of swiss, and was covered in a weird diced tomato concoction. It's definitely not a classic cordon bleu. The shrimp and saffron pasta was pretty boring and reminded me a bit of hospital food. If you stick to a feast of appetizers you will probably be in for a treat!

Not as big as the one at Spice but it had a decent selection. They have an omelet area where you can select your items to put in it. They have a small selection of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses. Most of the food was traditional Mexican items. So if you're looking for bacon and eggs, you'll have to ask for it. The restaurant overlooks a small pool area. It almost looks like a Vegas pool/hotel just without all the craziness. It's definitely the calmer side of the resort. Overall this was a nice little restaurant with good food. I would go again if staying at the resort.
