I was told the owner would contact me to issue a refund for the items I did not receive. It has now been two weeks, and I have yet to receive a call or a refund. I understand that inventory issues can happen, but the lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I will not be ordering from this business again.

One thing I totally love about this particular place is that they always have my husband's favorite, key lime pie. They seem to make small tarts pretty regularly but it's usually enough. I ordered an entire pie for his birthday last year and it was a bit pricey (around $30-$35) but delicious and exactly what he always wants. I've also had scones from here and they are my favorite in the area, not dry and tasteless but the perfect consistency and just the right amount of flavor. The staff is always friendly, and I love that they are open on Sunday which is usually a quiet, stroll and town kinda day. I wish I had pictures but the goods always go too fast!

Even after moving to NC, every trip back home to MI would not be complete without stopping to get cookies. Even made a few fans of the place in Charlotte. Coming from a person who is often requested to sell my own chocolate chip cookie version, this is high praise indeed. Infact, this is one of the only recipes I have yet been able to recreate. It's advertised as luxury ice cream and the shop has that vibe. Located right across the street from Rocky River Coffee, plenty of shared parking. Your nose will guide you because it smells amazing. Why you ask? Well one reason is they bake their cheesecake for the frozen cheesecake on a stick! I did not try this item but it's on my list of about five things I want to try. Service: There were about 3 people working. Service was fantastic. Everyone was professional and helpful but I only remember Logan's name. I want to point out the professionalism because all three were teenagers and it was as if they've been in the service industry for at least a decade. They represented the establishment well. I got to sample the creative variety of flavors and now on to the FOOD! Food: I finally settled on banana crush but it was hard y'all. Instead of waffle cone I opted for an ice cream sandwich. So basically you can get any flavor of ice cream sandwiched between two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and the whole thing was HUGE! Honestly since this was an after dinner treat I could have shared this. Pro tip: you'll need a spoon. No way you're eating this before it starts to melt. The ice cream was SOOO creamy and the flavor of the banana on point. I got my mom a scoop of butter pecan in a cup which was plenty. She loved it. My niece got a scoop in a waffle cone with sprinkles. Yes they have a variety of different toppings. They advertise their ice cream as luxury ice cream and that is the experience you feel like you have all the way around. I plan to bring the whole family for a special treat. Plan to spend around $7-$10 per person.

My 7 year old , eyes wide, nervously backing into a wall and taking me too literally stated "why is it gonna be dangerous?" But what I meant was... there were so many yummy options that self-control was going to become a big problem. Today was my family's 2nd time going within a week. First of all, the place looks great and felt welcoming. It felt trendy and clean. I was excited to see all of the delicious, fresh ice cream flavors. It was honestly hard to choose. You can even get a flight with 4 options if you can't pick! In my two visits, our family has gotten various treats, so I was able to try several flavors/creations each time, including a strawberry ice cream with large fresh chunks of strawberry in a freshly made waffle cone. I also tried the totally baked ice cream... perfect for the chocolate chip cookie, oreo, and brownie lovers. Today, I ordered the strawberry shortcake frozen cheesecake and that was fun and perfect for the season! BUT, I would HIGHLY recommend the half baked cookie dough bowl. This was my favorite thing. Think of it as half baked gooey chocolate chip cookies right from the oven topped with your favorite ice cream flavor and topping. Chef's kiss. The GOAT. Someone's going to have to keep me away from this place!
