It offers good value traditional French cuisine with a respectable a la carte selection, a good wine list and several menus at graduating prices and choices. The menus tend to reflect the season, such as la chasse in the autumn or whatever mushrooms or fruit are available in late summer. The offering of cheeses presented in a rustic old grape carrier - is quite a good one, usually at least a dozen different kinds with the waiter helpfully explaining each one, including the inevitable Bleu de Gex. Menu du jour is between 15 and 18 euros. More expensive in the evening.

The chicken was really dry. The cake dessert tasted like it was from a supermarket. What a shame with all the wonderful patisserie in France. Their…read morebuffet had the best of every kind of food and fruit available - I started with scrambled eggs and sausage (and the waiter was there right away taking orders for tea and coffee), my choice of about 6 types of bread or croissant and followed that up with some amazing granola (had to be their own mix, can't buy anything like it) and finished off with my choice of fruit (pear and apricot) and yogurt! Had to quit but there was still plenty left to taste!
