The brioche was super fresh and soft, but held up well with the ingredients. We also had sweet potato fries which were pomme frites style (crunchy and well seasoned) and which I also recommend. She is vegan and has had her fair share of meat-free burgers. She, after completing an Ironman and starving, could not manage to finish the burger because it was that bad. I ordered a fried southwestern egg roll appetizer as my entree and think I might have made the best choice of the table. As the bar wasn't set high, it was mediocre at best. Onto dessert...We all ordered milkshakes. How hard could that be to screw up? Back in the day the chocolate milkshakes at Hard Rock were actually pretty good. Alas, these were not the milkshakes we remembered from our sinewy youth. Not one of us finished our shakes and we ordered four of them in hopes of getting a winner. It's a sad state of affairs when I can't finish ice cream mixed with booze. Anyone who knows me is probably clutching their pearls at the thought of me casting aside perfectly good alcohol.
