Staying here was a wonderful experience! All of the staff were so kind, helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, and there were so many options to choose from. I was able to participate in some of the crafting activities (macrame, string art, and painting), and I had such a great time. The highlight for me was the hydrotherapy experience at the spa. All of the ladies that assisted us were so kind. It was a perfect balance of fun and relaxation.

I love this resort so much. I've been to the Le Blanc in Cabo before, so I arrived with high expectations, and Cancun still managed to exceed them. Food: 10/10 The food here is incredible. Every meal at every restaurant was consistently delicious and, in my opinion, even better than Cabo. The drinks were just as impressive. I started telling the servers what kind of flavors I was in the mood for, and they always came back with something spot-on. Service: World-class The service at this resort is truly next level. The butler and concierge staff took the time to learn our preferences and often anticipated what we needed before we even asked. José and Cecelia were amazing. They surprised us with treats and gifts in our room to help us celebrate some special occasions. We had only mentioned these once at check-in, so it meant a lot that they remembered. Every staff member, from the waiters to the pool team, made us feel so welcome. The only small hiccup was that our name wasn't on the shuttle list when we arrived, but they still got us a ride after a short wait. Ambiance and activities: 10/10 Being able to swim in the ocean here is a huge plus. While the resort is smaller than the one in Cabo, I really liked the more casual, laid-back vibe. The main pool stays open later, and there's a fun scene at the pool bar in the evenings. The events and activities were great too. We enjoyed the live music, karaoke nights, and meeting other guests from all over the world. The hydrotherapy circuit is something you have to try. The spa here is a bit smaller than Cabo's, but the experience was just as good. Final thoughts I highly recommend Le Blanc Cancun to anyone looking for an amazing resort in Mexico. This place checks all our boxes, and we'll definitely be back!

One of the best resorts we have stayed at. Surprised with the food, everything was spectacular. Couple of restaurants to choose from. There was even a coffee shop with delicious desserts. Every restaurant was different and had its own vibe. You really don't need to leave the resort. Service was excellent, I will say room service was a little slow but nothing to be mad at. The staff members treated us amazing, always happy to help with our needs! Definitely will be coming back for that reason. We appreciate Enrique at Yama for making our dinner experience one of best. The chef at Yama also greeted us with a delicious seafood meat dish. At the pool side we were welcome by Julio, Hector and Jubal; they were really attentive with us. Definitely will be coming back. The staff was welcoming.

Our stay at Le Blanc Cancun was absolutely exceptional. This is our third visit at this adult all inclusive AWESOME hotel, The service is truly world-class -- every detail is handled with care, professionalism, and kindness. The resort itself is stunning: beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly relaxing. A very special thank-you to Manager Roger, who was always on top of our needs and ensured we were cared for at every moment. The Diamond Concierges Patricia, Ingrid, and Sofía were outstanding -- attentive, proactive, and always ready with a solution for anything we needed. Their dedication made our experience unforgettable. Le Blanc Cancun delivers luxury at its finest. THE BLANC RESTAURANT BUFFET was amazing the food very delicious food, the breakfast, lunch and dinner, so much variety, vegetable seafood & steak, I have to say the stuff are excellent trained Rosario, Saida, Ulises, Jose Lazaro, Nancy. were sweet and professional. at the pool were Marine, Danatte, Chris and Armando they did great job even when was raining, we were extremely HAPPY to spend our Thanksgiving in this location.

Excellent service, food, and a beautiful hotel! My husband and I stayed here over the Christmas holidays and we had a wonderful time eating so much delicious food and relaxing in the pool and beach. There are 5 restaurants including French, Japanese, American steakhouse, Mexican, and Italian. My favorite was the French restaurant for their rack of lamb and crème brûlée with the Japanese restaurant's sashimi being a close second. The service was excellent with staff constantly asking if you need any drinks and there is also the le blanc mobile app where you can conveniently order items for your room and butler services. There are some entertainment shows and activities like gym classes and cooking classes, but overall there aren't too many activities and it can be a little too relaxing. It's a great romantic stay for couples but may not be active enough for larger groups.

Le Blanc exceeded all expectations! Brought the wife for a surprise birthday celebration and everything from initial reservation to picking additional add-ons to arrival were to notch. Cancun airport leaves a lot to desire but those stresses melted away upon our arrival. Greeted with drinks, warm neck rolls and prompt service did the trick. We've been to all-inclusive resorts before but the feeling of being pampered and attention to your every desire was unparalleled. Some places shy away from giving away food and drinks but not here. I even got a pair of pants ironed with less than two hours notice (my fault for forgetting the need but the butler came through!) We will be back!

Our first time at this adult all inclusive resort. We belong to Moon Palace, 45 minutes south of here, and we love it. This time we tried LeBlanc, part of the Palace resorts. We are enjoying it. This hotel resort is nice size with three pools, five restaurants and a variety of activities. For golfing we were shuttled to and from Moon Palace where we had showers, lunch and massages, tho LeBlanc has a lovely spa, also, where we had our mani pedis. At the Luna pool we did a spinning class on bicycles in the water. We participated in a movie trivia game. The evenings have entertainment at 9. We saw a fire/water show, a band, acrobats and listened to music at the Lobby Bar. We kept track of the schedule our butler sent us daily to find things to do like bracelet making, bingo, movies trivia, and how to slice a ham. You can relax at the beach or in a pool. Reservations are required to do a lot of things. Shoutout to excellent employees: Emilio, who is in manager training in Yama, our butlers Rossy and Ramy, and our concierge Ingrid. They kept track of us, and gave us treats in our room. We were waited on and given whatever we asked for. Laura, who led movie trivia and helped with the fire show was enthusiastic, and kept us wanting more fun. Leblanc is high end and special. A note: the facility is handicapped accessible, tho I only saw a few people with canes. The beach could be difficult with the uneven sand.

Top notch amenities. Excellent food. Relaxing environment. Super friendly employees. Your own butler. Multiple restaurants. 5 star . Why are you not here. You need to experience this level of vacationing. Treat yourself to an exceptional vacation and fabulous experience.

This resort was AMAZING, we absolutely loved the all inclusive adults only. We stayed in the honeymoon suite facing the ocean on the 5th floor for 7 days. From the moment you walk in everyone is so welcoming and the check in process is so easy. They give you wristbands that are keys to your room, they also set you up with the hotel app on your phone. The app is a game changer and you have everything organized through it. We loved our butlers Antonio and Armando, they were always there to assist when needed. We had originally booked dinner at each of the 5 restaurants they had on site. We ate at each of them once but our favorite was Yama out of all of them and we ended up eating there for all our other nights. Guadalupe was our server there and she was exceptional, we loved her! The pool and beach service was a 10/10 as well. We were set up each day at the pool, definitely recommend grabbing a chair on the bar side because the sun hits there the longest. Alejandro, Maura, and Ricardo took very good care of us the whole time. Alejandra was amazing as well, 4:30pm everyday she would bring out the fresh churro cart. During our stay we used the gym everyday, they have everything including TRX and the Pilates reformer classes. They also offered morning yoga on the water facing the ocean and pool bike workouts. We also had a couples deep tissue massage with Naomi and Luz who did an incredible job. The sauna, ice room, steam room, jacuzzi, and plunge pool was a cool experience as well..make sure to reserve ahead of time. The one thing that sets this place apart from other resorts is the customer service. Everyone does an amazing job making you feel taken care of. Make sure to bring lots of $ to tip as well, they deserve every penny. We look forward to visiting their Cabo location next!

If you're looking for a place that has impeccable service, look no further. This place delivers beyond anything you could imagine. The butler on each room does whatever they can to accommodate your every need no matter how frivolous they may seem. My butler Brito was super friendly and met my every need (especially food like bone marrow). Outside of that, every food item was spectacular and fresh. You could tell every food item was like fine dining items you'd get at an elevated restaurant. Favorite restaurants was Yanma strictly for their sashimi, and Lumiere for their lamb rack. Also shoutout to Leblanc for hand made dressing and a bomb rib eye. If you're not a foodie and looking for adventure, however, this place is quiet and can be kind of boring. Luckily I can pig out which is why I could fit right into this resort

This May a friend and I decided to take a vacation to Cancun for the first time. We decided that we should stay at the Le Blanc Spa Resort All Inclusive Resort. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a Welcome Drink (not sure what it was, but it was delicious) and a warm weighted pad for our neck after our travels. Our luggage was put away until our room was ready and we received our wristbands to access the property amenities. We decided to enjoy that time on the beach until our room was ready and ordered some lunch as well. We walked around the property and it wasn't too large or too small. It was very nice and well-maintained. When we arrived at our room, our luggage was brought up to us shortly after. The room was very clean and spacious for 2 people. We made dinner plans at a few different restaurants on the resort: Blanc for breakfast (no reservations); Lumiere French Restaurant, Bella Italian Restaurant; and Yama Japanese Restaurant. All the places we chose were delicious. My only complaint is the serving sizes are a lot smaller for Americans :-). I also think things didn't stay open long enough like places to get a snack or ice cream. Sometimes I like to stay up late and a nice snack would be great. The small time window it's open isn't enough in my opinion. Otherwise, everyone was amiable and the resort was very nice. There are plenty of activities to keep you occupied and you may not need to leave the resort. I highly recommend which is why I'll be returning to one of their properties again next year.

Just returned from our first stay at Le Blanc - celebrated our 20th anniversary. We loved the food and the entertainment was quite good! We booked everything through the app, or via email before we arrived, so we didn't utilize the concierge (didn't even talk to one) or butlers much. We used credits for a cabana one day, great couples massage, and the romantic dinner on our actual anniversary. Met lots of fun couples and had mostly great service! A few hiccups worth mentioning: Butlers - very friendly but didn't feel like they did much or offered much, ran our own baths and got an extra candy on our anniversary... Cabana was nice, but the people around us got better service and umbrellas were set up so it definitely wasn't worth it especially if you don't have credits. Romantic. DInner - it was raining, so we went down and asked if we were continuing or reacheduling - they weren't sure (odd) so we stood in the rain while they discussed and decided to carry on. They sat us in a cabana with the wrong names in the sand... I told them we were in the wrong seat and they moved us! Food was good, they brought dessert and it had the wrong initials on it too!! Not even the same wrong ones. Our last night we went to the Japanese restaurant (again) and there was an a*hole on FaceTime two tables down super loud the entire time and the servers didn't do a thing about it. Everyone was irritated. They didn't have bracelets so idk if they were extra special or what. We overall would rate LBC an 8.5 - returning to GMP in June with the kids!

There are many pros and cons to this resort so I'll start off with the pros. PROS: Many of the waitstaffs and workers are amiable and attentive. You get a few that are rude, especially the manager, named Eric, who was condescending and rude and not helpful whatsoever. Restaurants on site or open (most of them) until 11 PM and if you are still hungry you can order room service for food. Their app makes it easy to order room service, get the butler to refill certain items and find out more amenities that the resort has to offer. Overall, beautiful resort with amazing views. We were able to watch turtles lay eggs on their private beach. (No flash allowed for anyone planning on taking pictures) Their gym is open from 6 AM-11 PM and it is well equipped with many machines and weights. CONS: I would say most of their cocktails are very watered down, which is probably to limit the amount of inebriated people in the resort. Le Blanc is a spa and a resort but the spa is absolutely trash. You literally have the word spa in your resort name and you can't do simple tasks properly. I got a pedicure and it was the worst pedi I've ever had. Lady was nice but she did not know what she was doing. She kept looking at the lady doing my brothers feet to figure out what to do. On top of that she dropped the scrubber on the floor and proceeded to scrub my feet again after picking it up. Gross and unsanitary. To top it off, my toes are uneven and the lady did not even take the time to do my toes properly. To anyone wanting to go get their nails done, avoid this overpriced place at all costs. I started developing an allergy rash throughout the night. This was on the last day and I didn't do anything different besides the spa. My mom and aunt's massage was nothing special. I would recommend booking your restaurant dinner reservations prior to arriving here since most places get booked up. Other than that, this place is spectacular and worth checking out. When we were checking in they told us that our stay came with $100 credit per a room to purchase gifts, but when we checked out they stated we denied the $100 free credit for shopping. Who In their right mind would deny free credit? They kept changing their story continuously lying. How is it that another party in our group that had a different room get the credit but not our room? Eric, the manager, did not even have a reasoning for it and just stood there dumbfounded. He needs to learn a thing or two about hospitality. I do like this resort for its beauty but I think that's the only thing really going for this place.

WOW This is our…read morefirst resort in Cancun and I don't think we will ever choose another one. FOOD Wow. We did our homework before our trip and saw Zilara Cancun had good/decent reviews about their food. Let me tell you, this is probably the best food I've had in a long long time. Top dishes for me are the octopus with mole and lobster tostada from Maria Marie. If you like/can eat seafood, trust me on this. The drinks are phenomenal as well. There are signature drinks at all the restaurants. Those are mostly hits but some are misses (depends on your taste buds) PRO TIP: sign up for alcohol tastings at The Den first day you get there. We did tequila and wine tasting. It was quite a unique experience. SERVICE I've never gotten treated like this in any hotel I've been at. Chef's kiss for sure. The bellhop/front desk usually can break your 20s/100s into 1s so don't feel the need to exchange pesos (unless you want to of course). The workers at the hotel (and around Cancun overall) takes USD PRO TIP: there are a lot of activities hosted by the hotel. Morning exercise classes are really fun and the night shows are just okay. The crowd is definitely on the older side that just want to come to Cancun and chill not party. From hearing the reviews, Zilara had the most amount of activities from various first hand reviews from our friends All in all, solid resort. You won't regret it!

I wish they would have advertised/told us the buffet had different theme dinners. They were our favorite for dinner. There were good dishes at each, but nothing phenomenal. I really liked the lunches they had set up by the pool. It was overall good and on par with my expectations for an all inclusive. BEACH- this is honestly one of the highlights. The resort had one of the best beaches and ability to get in the ocean. If you want to get in the ocean, this is the spot. SERVICE - this was the most disappointing. At Excellence you cannot breathe without someone asking if you need something. It took a long time for people to check on us and we tip well. Day 4 we finally found Humberto who was THE BEST! Find him and tip him well. ROOMS- they were good and I was happy with them! POOLS- the pools were fine. A little shaded. The most annoying part was the cabana situation. Some are free, some are always paid, and some are paid on certain days. I get up at like 6AM every day anyways so I got good cabanas but if you're not an early riser you're screwed. Overall, I'd return!!

The food was another highlight. With multiple onsite restaurants. Vina del Mar was perfect for starting the day- it serves breakfast lunch and dinner and offers mexican and international cuisine . Outdoor sitting was beautiful. All other restaurants would need reservations- and we tried Chianti Trattoria Italiana - serving Italian cuisine and had elegant atmosphere. La Joya- serving authentic Mexican cuisine with incredible presentation. With its prime beachfront location, relaxing pools, outstanding dining options, and exceptional service, Grand Fiesta Americana Cancun delivers a truly luxurious experience. I would absolutely recommend this resort and would love to stay here again.

We also enjoyed live entertainment and a night club on the property, yet it remained wonderfully quiet when we wanted to relax. We loved the aromatherapy --it was such a thoughtful touch. The location is very convenient: close to a pharmacy, just across the street from a shopping mall with a mix of upscale and casual dining and shops, and only 10-15 minutes from Cancun's vibrant club zone. Our luggage was immediately checked in and we were able to check in even arriving early around 11 am. Our particular room was ready and we checked and our luggage was promptly dropped off. We stayed in an oceanfront room which had a beautiful view with a seating area inside and on the balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean and well stocked. I like the aromatherapy touch in the resort and in our rooms being able to choose which scent you wanted was very nice. I loved the separation of the toilet and shower by a wall and doors for privacy when using either. The water pressure and water temperature in the shower was great although there was some water draining from the shower during use. We would generally put a foot towel down to contain the water. The room was serviced twice daily so we were never without towels, etc. I also utilized the laundry service which was reasonably priced for three pieces of clothing and it was returned the next day. The staff was generally very courteous and helpful (we only had one less than courteous experience with a waiter at the Hidden Garden on our last evening). The food at the restaurants and by the beach and pool area was great - I cannot say enough about the fresh fruit and the grilled ribs and chicken so well seasoned and cooked with flavor. We ate daily in Siete for breakfast (the smoothie station you will need to go to first because it fills up because the smoothies are sooo good). We also dined at Hidden Garden where I enjoyed Indian cuisine which was delicious (but a small portion). All inclusive so it was nice not having to continually carry payment and only the gratuity needed for the staff. The last two mornings of our stay there appeared to be construction in the room next door or our floor which was disturbing - we did alert the front desk staff and it would generally stop around a certain time. Getting beds and chairs at the beach was generally easy but for the pool it was the hunger games usually having to place towels or bags on chairs early to 'reserve' them (there are no reservations for chairs only for the larger cabanas for an additional fee) We also experienced the spa which was amazing. Highly recommend visiting during your stay. The spa ritual is so relaxing and the couples massage in a combined room was great. Would definitely stay again. $$$

Food: there are food available from 6AM to 11PM. Some places I visited multiple times are: The cafe (opens from 6AM to 11PM) - coffee, tea and Frappe available all day. I usually stopped by after the gym (yoga near the beach at 7AM) to grab a iced latte and freshly baked pastires (dulce de leches cruffin is my favorite). Habaneros (opens from 12-6PM) - this is a casual spot serving tacos and ceviche on the beach. Even my toddler enjoyed the mixed ceviche with octupus. I enjoyed the ceviche, salmon toastada, and octopus tacos, while my toddler playyed with sand on the beach next to the table. Moongate (opens after 5PM) - the only restaurant that requires reservation, but for Teppanyaki ONLY. We were able to make a reservation for 5PM about 3 days in advance. The Teppanyaki chefs are all super energetic and made the experience fun for both kids and adults. We went back for dinner, and enjoyed some Asian Fusion dinner of ramen and sushi/rolls. My favorites include Short-rib, Teriyaki Salmon and the Omakase Nigiri. Trade Winds (opens for breakfast and dinner) - best steak in the resort. Last but not least, it took me 3 days to find my non-alcoholic drink of choice - strawberry mojito. I'm not a fan of the pina colada here, just FYI. One thing I don't like is the dolphins in captivity. I know it's a major attraction of the resort, and my kids honestly enjoyed watching the dolphins swim around and being trained. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in retraining staff to restore the level of service this property was once known for.

If you visit this place it is easy to see why we need closed borders. It is nicer than ANY hotel…read moreI've ever been to. And what used to be "the world's largest telephone booth" would dominate ANY hotel in the USA. The people are overly friendly as long as you are not doing shady things. And with billboards offering services directly to your room and a hospital system where you only go if you're sick. The "grey area" is a pretty loose term. The entire hotel is illuminated with L.E.D.'s. The space is immaculate. It was 1/4 mile from the room to the lobby. The ballrooms and convention spaces are like a stadium. (Indoors or outdoors). The public bus arrives every (2) minutes and are often full. It is approximately .50 US to go 30 miles downtown. Just looking at the creative ideas a child could write a book . "This ain't Tijuana". The malls and beaches are protected by federal soldiers and the streets have checkpoints every mile. They obtain your information and destination. If something is off a militia is on alert. In NOLA people go missing all the time. They get discovered weeks later. Would never happen in Mexico . A drunk guy might get out the box, but it is very controlled. These citizens are: smart, efficient, implemented, hard working, drive excellent, fast, diligent, and gracious. It's like walking through a museum. Being from a popular tourist town known for food, this place is VERY advanced. Instead of lounging and hiding these citizens WORK to pass the time. If you need anything just ask a bartender. "Tip and pay, you'll be OK!" LOOK at the photos!

Wonderful hotel! We stayed twice, three years apart and both times were fantastic!…read moreWe came here when my fiancé and I first started dating then again for our anniversary. Every single person that works at this property is out of this world! Kind, helpful and always going above and beyond to make things memorable! There's always a little bit of construction because they're renovating, so plan accordingly by calling with them to make sure the areas you want open, are open. The new speakeasy is super cute. We visited there one evening and have the best time and service! This isn't the same restaurant where you go to breakfast but at night is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Everything was fantastic but all the food on the property is really great! We especially loved to order lunch by the pool. All the cocktails are fantastic, even poolside! Rooms are standard JW with some of them recently updated with the others on their way to being updated. Yes, there is a sort of a musty smell in the air, but that's in most hotels. It's a very hard to keep those highly humid rooms from smelling a little musty. You just have to get over it and enjoy the time outside the room. Pools are super cute and the beach area is nice. There is an adult pool that is open during the day but wish it was open later! Lots of places in walking distance if you decide to venture out of the property but why would you need to! Easy drive from the airport and to the downtown or for departure to Isla Mujeres. We did not go to the island this time but last time we booked everything through the hotel and they made it super easy.

Our previous hotel left a lot to be desired, so this was a very welcome change. From the entrance way I was impressed with the decor walking through the garden and pool area I was in awe of how beautiful everything was. The room was immaculately clean, and while it was a standard room it was very nice and spacious and the marble flooring was such a nice touch. The shower was huge !!! We got in late so I assumed finding food would be a struggle , wrong again they offered 3 dining options late night as well as room service!!! The restaurant we found had amazing drinks and the food was so fresh and good ugh ! The restaurant was Cafe Urbano . The next morning we woke up and we were able to have a delicious breakfast with plenty of options including fresh fruit and let me tell you that in room coffee is also amazing! I honestly cannot wait to return to Cancun. I would definitely stay at this resort again. I've stayed at a several of hotels in Cancun and this is on the list of must return!!

CONCIERGE REVIEW FIDEL:…read more Fidel at the concierge desk provides an exceptional service to this hotel. In addition to being professional and quite pleasant, Fidel is a problem solver. That's someone I will take on my team anytime. During our stay, we had several glitches, and Fidel provided a professional outlet for us to express ourselves while maintaining brand standards. He has a difficult job and does it very well. BANQUETS REVIEW My friends hosted a Private pool party at Presidente InterContinental Cancun in August went on without a hitch. The pool area, cabanas, and buffet stations were immaculate . Despite the rain, we had a fabulous time. One star deduction for not being prepared for my food allergies which the catering/ banquet staff was aware of for more than three weeks. Thankfully, the staffed hurried to find two items that I could eat. They covered for the below par communication and made it work for me to have a chicken breast and two slices of steak which were both cooked properly and were flavorful. Most importantly, the wedding couple was not impacted. They had a wonderful time.

We arrived late and asked for bottled water, and were told to just drink the sink water... in Mexico. That alone set the tone. I also repeatedly emailed our concierge for assistance and received no response whatsoever. Our room smelled like mold, and the sheets were damp. Housekeeping replaced them, but the odor and overall condition never improved. Not what you expect at this level. Then it got worse. We had two rooms, one at this hotel and one at a neighboring hotel where a large group of our family was staying. That other hotel requires wristbands, which we had, so security here assumed we didn't belong, even though we had rooms at this property. At the pool, they approached us publicly and repeatedly questioned us, over and over, in front of everyone. No attempt to verify privately, no discretion, just standing over us and making a scene. It was humiliating. Then it happened again. While checking out, we crossed back onto this property to retrieve our luggage that they were holding. Security stopped us again and treated us like we were doing something wrong, only to confirm, once again, that we were legitimate guests. Two separate incidents. Same behavior. The level of aggression and lack of professionalism from security is completely out of control. This is not how paying guests should ever be treated. This wasn't just a misunderstanding, it was a failure in how guests are handled, and it happened more than once. We will never stay here again.

Stayed at the resort for ten days. May 11th 2026 through the 21st. It is a bit of an older decor…read morebut it is very clean and there are workers always cleaning. The staff was very friendly and tried to help with our request. The room was a junior suite with an ocean view. It was comfortable and our room attendant did a great job. The king bed was two beds pushed together, but with some magic by the wife we made it more like one and were very comfortable. You can get a single king bed in some of the rooms. We were there with friends and didn't want be separated so we stayed with that configuration. I would try and get a room on the west wing. It actually looks to the east and you don't get the extreme heat in the late afternoon that the east wing does. We ate at all of the restaurants and our favs were the Black and White Steak house and Krystal. The Italian restaurant off of the lobby was good for a quick slice of pizza at lunch time. The buffet is like it is on a cruise ship and was good for most of our breakfast seatings. After a few days gets a little old. The staff was super friendly and hard workers. There is a 24 hour refreshment spot, but the food is only so so. Just for a quick sandwich or fruit. They do have a beer tap and a few selections of liquor available there for self service as well. The pool and beach area had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. If you don't see any available just ask and they will make it happen if possible. My complaint about the pool would be they close at 7:00. One small pool stay open until 8:00. Way too early for an adult only. I suggest if you want to do excursions to go straight across the street to one of the stands. If you know what you want to do they are a much better deal, but be certain you know where you want to go. make sure and get transportation included in your excursion. Also in that area there is the Bamboo Spa. You can get a massage for less than half at the resort spa. They did a very good job and were very professional. Not a "happy endings" type of place. Tell them you will do the massage if they throw in the fish foot treatment. Sounds weird but it was pretty nice. This is all inclusive for food and drink. The drinks are pretty light and when you ask for something other than the house liquor I'm pretty sure it didn't happen all the time. The best is to ask for the drink with a shot on the side, or better yet go to the bar yourself and watch them make the drink. It was definitely better and i was assured to get the name brand. Over all I would recommend this RIU.

What an incredible trip!! Hands down my favorite place to stay in Cancun!…read more The hotel was stunning. We got the jacuzzi room and it felt like we had a palace! The views were insane and we felt like royalty! Our friends got the Jr Suite rooms and their rooms were equally just as nice (in case you are looking to save money, no matter what, get that frontal sea view room!!!!) The hotel is a palace and we were able to explore other hotels around (Caribe night party was super fun! And the Cancún next door was more lively at night and had better social life!) The staff were super friendly and made sure our cups were ALWAYS full and we were happy!! It's also NO KIDS, so you never had to worry about crying babies or kids running over your stuff at the pool/beach! The food: The buffet was great (not like normal hotels cheep buffets) this place had amazing staff and the quality of the fresh food was so shocking! There were endless options each day. There are also other restaurants at the hotel, our favorite was the Japanese one, the food was so good (we got multiple dumpling orders TO-GO back to our room. The steak house was good as well, just it gets BUSY and you need to book in advance to ensure you'll get a table. The Italian one was very American Average, nothing crazy stood out, but again the venue vibes were great! The 4th one, we never went to cuz the menu didn't fit our desire, but it looked cool from the outside! Cons of this hotel: The 24hr snack lounge had this kinda funky cleaning smell? I don't know how to describe it but my clothes coming home had that odor on it. Also The beach was kinda small/narrow so there wasn't much room if you came down around lunch. Chairs/loungers were also a VERY hot item and it was hard to find chairs after 10am most days. If you like to drink, there isn't that "top shelf" quality of liquor here, it's kinda average... but the bartenders were able to make virtually any drink and we never had a single bad drink! Transportation: No one (not a single person) told us that you need to confirm your return transpiration the day after you arrive (and the travel people can be found out at the stage lounge are most mornings). Riu had messed up and booked 2 out of 6 of our party on a VERY early pick up instead of having us all travel together. We had to rebook through the agent outside but I was able to get a refund when I go back home) ------------------ Overall, BOOK this hotel. The location, the perks, the quality of life here can't be beat! We are already booing our next 2 trips here LOL
