    Brownie fudge Sunday

This is one of my favorite places in downtown Roswell, and a favorite brunch spot overall. 100% recommend! So many vegetarian options and crepe selections! I typically order their goat cheese quiche and a side of ratatouille. Together it's a perfect portion. Took my mom and sister here for dessert once and also took my family here for lunch another time. Great salads and more! The coffee shop downstairs at Roswell provisions also serves great lattes.

4-egg. omelette with goat cheese, peppers and mushrooms, plus a side salad.

Met three friends here for a Saturday brunch/lunch, and I would definitely say the ambiance is the star attraction. Tucked upstairs (enter from Canton Street next to Roswell Provisions) you enter a dining room that must date back to the late 1800s. Parking cost $10 across street, and paying for parking was best option because the whole area which is lined with restaurants was an ant farm! The menu leans toward lunch items (all French-inspired) and there's a wide selection of cocktails. The quiche got rave reviews from our table. The omelettes are made with four eggs and massive. Mine was very good and paired nicely with a simple salad. The only thing standing in way of five stars is that the service was a bit less attentive that I would have liked. I ordered coffee and had to remind the server halfway through meal that I had not yet received it. It was pretty busy, so allowing her some grace on this. All-in-all - a good place for conversation. There's no loud music to compete with. Always appreciate that. The Canton Street area in Roswell is definitely worth exploring. All eateries that look amazing and Le Bistro is no exception.

La Crepe de Poulet et champignons

We decided to stop at Le Bistro for brunch on Sunday. The service was excellent, the building is awesome and has so much character and charm. The food seemed reasonably priced considering the area. However, after receiving the food, we were not very impressed. I had La Crepe de Poulet et champignons. The menu states the crepe has sautéed chicken, onions & mushrooms topped with béchamel sauce. Unfortunately the chicken tasted as if it were from a can, no flavor like one would expect if it were sautéed, plus the texture was like the chicken from a can. I was disappointed. It needed at minimum a bit more salt, but there were no salt shakers on the table. As for Le Croque Monsieur, it was good but nothing to write home about. On the bright side the Cream of Spinach soup was very good. Would we visit again? I would say yes, but it would be to try a dessert item and coffee. If the food matched the service and atmosphere, we would have given 5 stars.

My family and I opted to dine-in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and ample seating. We were immediately greeted by our server and he was very friendly and helpful. The brunch menu consists of "create your own" crepes, omelettes, and Challah French toast with a variety of sides. I opted for the create your own omelette with Swiss cheese, spinach and mushrooms and it was delicious. I also got a side of bacon and it was deliciously cooked and a very generous portion. My family went with the omelette and Challah french toast. The French toast was so thick and rich, covered in fresh maple syrup and came with a side of cheesy hash--amazing! Definitely try the cheesy hash if you're here for brunch. Their menu offers an assortment of salads and sandwiches for lunch. The Croque Monsieur and French dip with roast beef are the most popular choices. 10/10!

French Onion soup and chicken salad sandwich

A cute place in downtown Roswell. We sat on the balcony overlooking the street and we enjoyed the view. A perfect spot for people watching. French Dip is my all-time favorite sandwich so I was excited to try it on a nice fresh baguette. Unfortunately, it didn't make my list of favorite versions of it. My daughter tried the au jus and said it had no flavor, just salty. She said Arby's is better! Although the meat on the sandwich was plenty, it was pretty flavorless and not super tender. Not bad, but nothing special, especially for the price. The French Onion soup was quite different than any I've had before - the broth was thick, almost creamy. Great flavor! The creamy spinach soup was also quite thick, almost like creamed spinach. Similar flavor, too. I really enjoyed it.

Bouche a la Reine with ratatouille

Cute, charming atmosphere in the restaurant on the 2nd floor with a terrace overlooking Canton Street. Our server was very professional, the food was good and it made for an enjoyable lunch date. The Bouche a la Reine was similar to chicken pot pie with a creamy sauce. It was very good but I would say the chicken tasted a little dry. The ratatouille was also very good. They have side rooms for private events and a bar.

Charcuterie board and French Dip Sandwich with Ratatouille soup ! Yummy

I am all about the ambience and great food ! This place is definitely giving me "french" vibes. The decor is french rustic I absolutely love it! I came for lunch with one of my girlfriends and she ordered the charcuterie board as a meal and had the "Other Whiskey" drink (she loved them both). I ordered the French Dip sandwich with my side a cup of ratatouille soup! I could have licked the bowl it was sooo good ! Everything is freshly made - we sat on the porch which was perfect ! When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the decor - you have to try this place and come ready to take instagram pics !

    Upstairs bistro croque Monsieur

I've been downstairs several times for coffee, bought bread. Today I went for lunch alone and decided to go upstairs to the bistro. It was empty except for one other table. The décor is lovely and I can't fault it. The service was great also and it always has been. The deserts downstairs have always been great also especially the truffles. Today's review is based solely on my lunch today and the taste. I ordered a croque Monsieur and it's my favourite sandwich in the world. I've eaten it all over the world and today's was the most disappointing and quite sickly. Tasteless and sickly and just a complete fail. I loved how it was served but even the salad was just not good. The menu in general looks great and the location is great but today was not worth the $25.00 I spent on one sandwich, an espresso and a bagette.

    Strawberry shortcake

I've been several times and always enjoyed everything i've had. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, kind staff members, and the outdoor seating is homey and has a great view of downtown Roswell. My favorite thing to order is the jambon-beurre with tomato bisque. It's a simple concept but they pull it off so well. I would say the jambon-beurre is quite authentic in comparison to those I've had in France, and the tomato bisque is creamy and delicious. The strawberry shortcake is great as well. The attached store, Roswell Provisions has great coffee and desserts if you're in a rush. I definitely would recommend if you're in Roswell.

take the stairs up to restaurant and you feel as if you have been transported to an apartment on the Ill River in France with dinning on a balcony overlooking the street. The service was spot on and so was the food. My wife did mention the crepe was a little too thick, more like a pancake than crepe. My Flammekueche was a good interpretation. Never less, your tastebuds will thank you! la creme brulee and la mousse au chocolate were light and full of flavor. The strawberries added a nice spring touch to the creme brulee , while the raspberries were great compliment to fresh a whip cream and perfectly balanced chocolate mousse. enjoy

    Italian sandwich and ratatouille

/TL;DR  All the charm of a Parisian cafe. /ATMOSPHERE  If you're familiar with Roswell Provisions, the stairway next door leads up to this interesting Roswell restaurant. The upper deck dining is very quaint and charming with views of the restaurant row. /FOOD  The ratatouille is hearty and delicious as was their salads and the classic croque. It's not exactly cheap here so prepare for a bit of sticker shock when you sit down. If you're not hear for the food, necessarily, grab some dessert and order up some coffee. It comes from the excellent coffee shop below. /SERVICE  No complaints. We were treated like royalty. ;-) HOW TO READ MY REVIEWS: 1 Star - Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars - If I'm in the area, I'd pick something else. 3 Stars - I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars - I would pick this place out of other places nearby. 5 Stars - I would go out of my way to dine here.

Chicken and mushroom crepe with the bechamel sauce....delicious

Delicious crepe. Amazing service and a really cool ambiance especially on the balcony.

    Audrica B.

Such style and grace under one little roof. The wait staff is very polite and attentive the moment you land inside. The seating space is French country chic and charming especially the swinging bench outdoors on the balcony deck overlooking the square. Along with the friendliness, the food is impeccable. Pierre was great all around. He made recommendations for food and even Roswell activities. I went with the Bailey Cream Cake. It's a shot of the coffee liqueur, cream cheese pound cake, and vanilla ice cream with a dollop of whipped cream. I added strawberries and chocolate drizzle (instead of caramel drizzle). The first bite was heavenly! I was floating through velvet clouds; it was merely joy in every bite. I returned weeks later for this very dessert and an hour d'oeuvr and entree. It was time and money well spent. The dill, horseradish sauce, and smoked salmon crostinis were flawless along with bouche a la reine, a puffed savory pastry that's reminiscent of a (fancy) pot pie with chunks of white chicken and tasty thick béchamel sauce. It was the highlight of my weekend. I'm anticipating the next visit.

Since they are just down the street from my job and I had a little bit of extra time this morning, I decided to stop in and try one of their breakfast options. I arrived just a few minutes after they opened and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I appreciated that I had various options to choose from for what kind of bread I wanted the sandwich on. I initially thought to go for a croissant but ultimately went with the kaiser roll and I'm glad I did. The bread was perfectly warm and soft. Though I realize now that I never got her name, the woman behind the counter was very friendly and we had a nice chat while I waited for my order to come out. The place itself is cute and seems to have a lot of appetizing options along with its own little store. I did need to get back to work so I ordered my sandwich to go. It came out quickly and I was on my way. The delicious smell of it in the car ramped up my expectations and a short time later, my taste buds confirmed that the high expectations had indeed been met. It was still warm when I took my first bite and I was truly impressed at the perfect balance of flavors. One of my biggest pet peeves with these kind of sandwiches from nearly everywhere I have ordered one is that the bacon is often soggy and/or undercooked. Luckily, the bacon on my sandwich from Savory Gourmet was cooked to perfection. It was crispy and as delicious as it smelled and looked. While a $10 sandwich is a bit steep for a regular breakfast indulgence, it is reasonable for a large and very tasty occasional treat. It was filling enough for me to skip lunch today since it left me satisfied enough to get through the day, which is a nice plus. Honestly, I probably could have only eaten half of it and been satisfied, which I considered, but it was so good that I ate the whole thing anyway. My first impression here was a good one, so I will likely return as soon as I get a chance to. I think I may try something for lunch next time around. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend giving Savory Gourmet a try.

I got a drink at the bar and perused all the food stall options. Most of my coworkers were going for the tacos, but I couldn't get that delicious smell out of my mind, so I opted for the cheesesteak. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. There was nobody at the counter when I approached, so I ordered at the electronic kiosk in front of it, which was fine with me as I don't mind using ordering kiosks, but it would have been nice to know someone was there. I received a text when my order was ready and went back to the counter to pick it up. Sadly, the food was just okay. I had ordered a cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink. The cheesesteak was decent but smaller than I expected for the price point and way too greasy. The flavor did not match the expectations that my nostrils had set, which was disappointing. The fries were not good, but I do tend to be picky about fries so might not be the best judge of that because I couldn't eat them but my coworkers seemed to like them. While it certainly could have been worse, I did not enjoy my food enough to order from this food stall again. If I return, I will likely hit up the tacos instead next time.

Decided to give it a whirl today, but was unfortunately rather disappointed. I got a $10 off promo from the Facebook ad, so that was nice, but considering how overpriced everything is, it wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped. I ordered 3 breakfast croissants, two large tater tots with beer cheese on the side, and two small iced caramel macchiatos. It was $37 before the $10 coupon was applied. The croissants were tasty, but mine (bacon, egg, and cheese) was a little on the dry side, and ALL of them were TINY with minimal filling. I was definitely expecting a larger or at least more fulfilling croissant for the price (nearly $7 for just one croissant and no sides). Same with the machiattos. They were small but more like miniature, especially considering they were more than $5 each and lacking sweetness, so we had to add more sugar. The beer cheese was okay, but I couldn't dip the tots in it because the tots were grossly undercooked. They were soggy and frankly, disgusting. They had a strange, almost fishy taste that was rather revolting. This was the deal breaker for me. I couldn't eat them at all, and I won't return because of it. The place itself was cute, smelled delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient, but none of that makes up for disappointing food at unjustifiable prices considering what you get. I wished I had gone to get Burger King breakfast croissants and hash browns instead, which would have tasted better and been significantly cheaper. It wasn't a great first impression, and I won't be back, but I gave them three stars rather than lower because the service was good and the croissants tasted good despite being too small and skimping on the insides. If they are going to successfully compete with the myriad of other breakfast options in the area, though, they definitely need to BOTH up their game and re-evaluate their pricing strategies. Oh...and definitely cook the tater tots ALL the way through because nobody likes a soggy tater tot!
