Literally 4 minutes before the 48 hour reminder ~~

Highly disappointed and I didn't even visit their store! Booked online several weeks out.. received a confirmation text 2 days before and asked for accommodations since I needed to have my 2 children (older) join me for shopping. Jamie did respond back later in the day.. she stated the policy was firm and only 3 guests. Attempted to find help with my kids but was unsuccessful. Canceled via text 36 hours before and was told there would be NO accommodations to refund my $50 appointment fee since it was less than 48 hours!! I've been to a few places and have to comment on the poor service. There are plenty of other places to look at ladies! Doo ok t waste your time and $$$ here at Le Bella Donna!!

I had a wonderful appointment with Jess today! I am pretty self conscious and am not a fan of shopping but Jess helped me feel comfortable and selected dresses for me that she knew I would be interested in based on the info I gave her. She guided me towards the dresses within my budget and would let me know if I was looking at something over budget so I wouldn't fall in love with something that I couldn't afford. The first dress I tried on I fell in love with! I tried on a few others and they were beautiful but I ended up going with the first dress. My mom, future mother in law and my maid of honor were with me and we all bonded well with Jess. I felt like she was one of the girls! Any questions anyone had she had an answer for and had a ton of helpful knowledge on each dress I tried on. She pointed out every tiny detail of the dresses and explained how things would fit. I was so happy with my experience here. The facility is gorgeous and immaculate. The checking out process was simply and easy. All of the employees are sweet and friendly. I highly recommend coming here and seeing Jess for all of your bridal needs!

Bought my bridesmaid dress from this store and what seemed smooth at first ended in frustration and headache! MONTHS before the wedding all of the bridesmaids were sent to be measured so the order could be sent together. The store explained that this was so the manufacturer would cut the dresses from the same roll of fabric and the color would match exactly...no problem! Months later the dresses arrive EXCEPT for one which was mine. With still having some time before the wedding I wasn't initially concerned but then the arrival date kept being pushed back. Eventually I was told the dress would not be here in time for the wedding and that they could try to make me a dress from one of the sample dresses in their store! As any bride could imagine this was a living nightmare! Luckily, for me, one of the bridesmaids had to back out of the wedding and did not pick up her dress. I eventually was given the option to have her dress ONLY if I signed a document that stated I would be responsible for the cost of the dress if she decided she wanted it! Keep in mind we are now days from the wedding with a dress 8 sizes too big! I was super lucky to be able to get a last minute spot with a local seamstress who did an excellent job! The sales woman we originally dealt with and for most of this experience was actually very sweet. She tried her best to keep open communication with me once we were within weeks of the wedding. I eventually asked to talk to the manager or owner and received a call from, I believe, the store manager and she was not very friendly. When I picked up the dress I had a conversation with the manager asking for a call from the store owner which to this day has not happened. They did refund me the cost of my dress BUT they also kept my dress once it arrived. From the beginning the dresses seemed overpriced. Also, the groom also had major issues with his tux and some of the groomsmen's tux's too. Felt it was only right to write a review for potential future customers to be able to make an informed decision.

Liz was my consultant at La Bella Donna and I cannot recommend her and this shop with more enthusiasm. My family dynamic is a bit tricky and Liz jockeyed everyone's opinions very gracefully while protecting my sanity. I was having a beach wedding and she provided really helpful recommendations for fabric and structure that made my wedding day so great. I also moved to Hawaii in the time between purchasing this dress and it arriving to the Jenkintown location. The shop was super helpful in inspecting the dress and shipping it to me. They understood my concerns over losing the dress in the mail, so they were very proactive about communication and everything worked out so well.

This was my first time wedding dress shopping and Liz was my bridal consultant. Not only was she the sweetest person and listened to all of my likes and dislikes everyone working there was super nice and helpful as well. I did end up saying yes to the dress! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for your dress!!

I said yes to this dress!

I went into my search for my dream designer wedding gown with requirements that the shops I'd…read moreconsider would offer in-house alterations and storage of my gown until my wedding. La Belle Mariee checked the boxes, was around the corner from my home for fittings, and I couldn't wait for my appointment! I had the absolute best SALES experience at La Belle Mariee Bridal. Unfortunately selling me things was where any positive experience ended. My consultant was fantastic. She even told me that if I bought a veil there, they'd store it until my wedding along with my dress, and that they lend their sample veils out for hair and makeup trials so the bride's doesn't get dirty. This influenced me to purchase a veil for over $500 because that sounds fabulous, doesn't it? This turned out to be totally untrue. I called to sign out the sample for my trial and was told they cannot honor that promise... only a few months later. Totally surprising and disappointing when one of the reasons I bought that veil was that I could use the loaner for my trial. So that was terrible, but months later, there was more. Sadly, I had to go pick up my wedding dress and veil after they alerted me via a BLAST EMAIL to all brides that they are no longer doing alterations and to come pick your items up. I feel this message should have been delivered via a personal phone call because the impact is significant. It was so impersonal, especially when spending thousands of dollars with them. I would expect this kind of communication from David's Bridal, and there is a reason I never went to David's Bridal. I wanted better, and I deserve better service at this price point on my luxury designer gown. When I expressed to the owner my frustration that the impact is significant to me because I don't have the ability to store my items in my own home due to major construction, and would have to store them at my mom's house and bring them back and forth between there and a seamstress, she told me it's only significant if I choose to make it that way. Nobody cared about my experience as a customer and how stressful this has been for me. If you are looking to buy an experience (one-stop shopping, storage, onsite alterations) like I was, not just a gown, I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. They totally bait and switched on me twice. Now I have had to store my gown at my mom's house, hired a separate seamstress, coordinated driving my dress between my mom's house and the seamstress's house... as if I didn't have enough to worry about as a bride and mother with a full time job. Beyond the initial sale, everything was a disappointment. The right thing to do would have been to honor the commitment to brides who have made their purchases already and offer the advertised onsite alterations to them, but not offer that service to any additional brides. There are a ton of bridal shops in this area.... Wish I'd chosen to look at some of the other shops before ending up at this one. I originally posted this review months ago when everything happened and was contacted by the owner the same day. She asked me to take the review down because it was hurting her business. However, this is simply an accurate account of what I experienced as a customer and I am entitled to share that with other consumers. Instead of accepting that not every customer has a great experience and using the feedback to do better for others in the future, the owner called me twice more asking me to take the review down, then told me that if I did not do so, she would tell the recommended seamstresses in this area not to work on my dress because I am a "difficult customer". I was so angry and sad about all the added stress and cried so much over how I was treated. She scared me and I removed my review. Now that a wonderful seamstress has taken great care of me and everything is complete on my beautiful dress, other consumers deserve to make informed decisions. I hope that this business can accept honest feedback on the experience they provided to me as a customer and use it to do better for others in the future.

Sarah helped pick countless styles from the floor to help narrow down what I really wanted. She was extremely patient the entire time, and helped me hone in what I actually liked. I ended up saying yes to the dress - to a dress I did not even ever have in mind- the same day! Granted, it took me a few hours, but she never made me feel rushed or like I was an annoyance (which I'm sure my indecision was...). I thought I wanted a lacy A Line and ended up with a crepe silhouette that she picked out! I loved that she even took the time to let me try on my top 2 choices twice...to really help me decide on THEE dress! I haven't received the dress yet & unfortunately moved from out of town so won't be able to get my alterations here, but she said the dress could even be shipped directly to me. Overall it was a lovely experience! I can update the review once I receive my dress as well. The store itself is also gorgeous, clean, and has private section for each bride. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had a somewhat vague explanation of the style and inspiration and Allie whips out the most perfect dress. Of course, I tried a few others but the first one she nabbed for me to try was the winner! Allie went above and beyond to take photos so that I could include my older brother who was unable to attend. If you are looking for another style, the staff don't hestiate on going to their other locations to grab a dress for you to try on. The ballroom is large and you don't get overwhelmed since the dresses are all so well organized. The selection is massive with all colors, styles, and aesthetics accounted for. If you are in Philadelphia or the suburbs of Philadelphia, honestly this is the only bridal salon you need to visit! I absolutely loved my experience here for getting my wedding dress and wholeheartedly recommend.

Where to start... (worth the read from someone who purchased their dress at this awful place)…read more My first visit to L&H was fabulous with Tara - she helped me find my dress, and made the entire process enjoyable (she knew exactly what I wanted after asking all the right questions). However, the great experience stopped there. I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses through L&H, but when they came in, they were a completely different color. The manager assured me that they would work with the manufacturer to have them reshipped quickly, with a deadline of a month before my wedding (3 of my bridesmaids lived out of town)... that did not happen, and I had to be the one to call continuously asking where they were, until they finally came in just 3 weeks from my wedding (oh, and they still weren't the correct color, but at this point, there was nothing I could do). This is where it all went downhill. I had the WORST experience having my dress fitted. Lucy, the seamstress (who I later figured out was the OWNER), was rude every time I went in there, made my dress fit worse than it originally fit, and made awful body shaming comments to me and 3 of my bridesmaids). Needless to say, I couldn't complain to the owner... My first fitting: Lucy came in for a solid 3 minutes. I asked her to make the bra area smaller to fit my small chest, and she told me to wear cutlets... she then pinned me where I asked her to take it out around my stomach, and bring up the straps somewhat. Then left. I was in and out in 10 minutes. My second fitting: I brought my two bridesmaids thinking their dresses would be in, as it was past the date they promised.. they were not in. My dress fit WORSE than when it first came in. She had not taken anything out of the waist and took the straps in so much that I could barely fit them over my shoulders. I expressed my concern and then sent a detailed email showing how the dress fit at my first fitting, to then, so that she could fix it properly. I was now less than a month out from my wedding and very distraught, but figured I would give them another shot. My third fitting (I requested this one because they wanted me to come back just for a final fitting a week before the wedding, but I did not trust that it would actually fit). At this point, I tried on my dress and noticed where it had been taken out- it was bumpy (I had light beading), so I asked if I could talk to Lucy... in which she came in and said "what's wrong now?". To the BRIDE. I asked her if she had finished taking out my dress, or if she still had to do so, to which she responded "it is done, that is the best I could do", and I explained and showed her that it did not lay flat, that it looked bad, and you could tell it had been taken out. She said again "that is the best I could do, it will lay flatter after it is pressed", turned around, and walked out. I was appalled, but at this point did not want her touching my dress again. I was too scared to complain to anyone or ask her to fix it because I was honestly worried she would do something to mess it up further. I asked around and found another seamstress who could help if I came back in and it still looked bad. Lucy (the owner) also asked my bridesmaid "what she was going to do with what little boobs she had" when she asked to have it adjusted (again, basically telling her to wear a bra), and made my other bridesmaid cry after asking her "what she planned on doing with all her fat" and told her to wear Spanx, when she was 2 months postpartum. Lucy also tailored two of the bridesmaid dresses and made them fit worse than when they originally tried them on (there is a theme here). The shop would not refund them the money. RUN from this place. They made an experience that was supposed to be wonderful, absolutely dreadful.

I had a wedding guest gown that needed to be taken up and it had to be done by that Friday. I drove to the shop and it was a small place with two rooms. It was in an old building, next to a realtor, with parking in a lot. The inside was old and also beat up, dirty, and dusty but I didn't let that bother me. A woman was working on the sewing machine. I don't know if that's Eric's wife. There's a room to change in the back so I put the dress on and Eric measured it. I left. Eric texted me that the dress was ready Friday morning. I picked it up and it was the perfect length. It looked great! It was taken up at the waist so the pretty bottom of the dress that had an asymmetrical ruffle was not touched. I was very happy with it. Later that day, I accidentally dialed the store number so hung up quickly. Eric saw that I called and called me back to make sure that everything was ok. How nice is that? She was extremely helpful and responsive every single step of the way. Without her, I don't think I would have gotten everything together. I did not do a package, instead I rented a wedding dress, a mandarin qipao, hired a make up artist, MC, and DJ through Paris; and when our old decorator pulled out at the last minute, Ula eased the stress with a new recommendation 1 month away. 1. Dress selection is limited, and it did cost more than I expected to rent, but I don't regret not needing to have to store a giant dress in my tiny Manhattan apartment. The seamstress was very nice to work with, though I think she only speaks Chinese. 2. Make up artist was Crystal! She was so great. She traveled all the way up to Morningside Heights with her giant suitcase and did a phenomenal job. My schedule is difficult and Ula was able to work with me to secure a make up trial with Crystal a couple months before the wedding. It was extremely helpful to have a make up trial beforehand, so I do recommend it, even if it costs more. 3. JJ was my MC and I had a couple of guests come up to me to tell me how great she was going in between English and Mandarin. My friends speaks english but family members do not, so hiring JJ was such a win. She called us a month before and planned out an itinerary, which we ended up not following the day of, but she was able to play it by ear and made the night very fun. 4. DJ was James Vincent, who knew how to work the crowd. Lots of dancing, which was what we wanted. So overall, it was a great experience having a one- stop shop for all of our extra-venue vendors. I did not use their photographer/videographers since I had a recommendation from a friend (I wanted to be able to work with the same photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding day-- so that they get to know you). She is absolutely amazing and will help craft an event that is better than you could have imagined. She has been such a pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend her. Let me back up and give you some context. My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in NJ on my uncle's farm. The only problems with that were that we lived across the country in Portland and we didn't have a building to have the ceremony in. My husband and I also both worked full time jobs. We began to realize that we'd have some time constraints on our hands and hiring a wedding planner might not be a bad idea. After reading some reviews online, I reached out to a few planners and set up a couple of introductory calls to hear about their services and experiences. When I started talking to different wedding planner, every one of them started off by telling me about all of their packages and what was included in their service. Lindsay was different. Unlike the other planners who immediately went into their sales pitch, Lindsay wanted to hear our story and what we wanted in our wedding. It seemed like she genuinely wanted to help us create our special day, not just give us a cookie cutter list of services. This was such a refreshing and personal way of approaching wedding planning. I knew from that minute that I wanted her to plan my wedding. Lindsay of Simply Sunshine Events is an amazing events planner, coordinator, and event designer. She covers a wide array of events, from wedding and baby showers to corporate events and fundraisers. And every single review that I read about the company was simply glowing. Not only is she professional, candid, creative, and helpful, but she just seemed like someone who I would work well with. Ironically we both grew up super close to one another, so we instantly clicked on that part of our past. Even without that connection, I knew that we would get along well. We decided to get help on both the design portion as well as the planning portion of our wedding. I'm really not the most creative person in the world and I felt like we needed help putting together the overall vision. We were presented with a personalize design brief with a couple of different options. Once we decided on a vision, Lindsay was able to pick out vendor options that she thought would work well with the venue and overall theme. It was so much less overwhelming being able to choose out of a couple of highly recommended vendors than to have to choose from everyone in the area. Which leads me to another important thing that Lindsay brought to the table: experience. Not only has she worked with all of these people before, but she has seen all the ins and outs of doing a wedding at a "home" venue. Initially, we thought it would be more cost efficient and easier to have an at home wedding. However, it turns out that this makes the whole planning process much more difficult since we had to not only style a wedding but actually create a venue. Lindsay instantly knew all the things we needed to look into - a tent, flooring, a generator, bathrooms, the list goes on and on. She provided us super detail specific timelines of when we should do each task, as well as supplemental tools to assist us along the way. With Lindsay's help, my husband and I made a lot of the big decisions pretty early on in the planning process. I completely trusted Lindsay's opinion on vendors and that really worked out well for us. We had amazing food and cake tastings, had a florist meeting on site that was spot on, and have a Chaplain who gave me chills when going through ceremony options. The best part about the whole deal is that Lindsay can sometimes get her clients special discounts with vendors that she works with regularly, and passes those deals directly to her clients. Some planners will take those discounts as profits, but Lindsay has an awesome system where she charged us one flat fee for everything listed in her contract and helped us save money elsewhere. She was a huge help in constructing our budget and sticking to it. Overall, I'm so glad we worked with Simply Sunshine for both the planning and design part of our wedding. The wedding went off beautifully and I was so glad I could just relax and be fully present on the wedding day. Even though there was threat of rain all the way up to the actual day, we were able to execute a plan B (extra tents for the ceremony and cocktail hour) that most people had no idea was actually not what we originally intended. I was so thankful to have such an amazing team of vendors backing me up through the preparation and actual day, even when we threw curve balls at them. Simply Sunshine Events has made this whole planning process less stressful than I was initially expecting, and made our wedding day more amazing than I ever could have hoped for.

I recently attended the event at Marian House in Cherry Hill. While the venue was beautiful and the…read morevendors were kind and engaging, I was deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of integrity in the way the main raffle--the event's primary draw--was conducted. At the start of the raffle, I observed a blonde staff member quietly place a ticket in front of a bride seated beside me, who showed no reaction. That bride later handed the ticket to her fiancé. At the end of the event, the same staff member returned to announce the honeymoon winner, reading a pre-drawn ticket number. The bride and her mother nudged the fiancé--who hadn't even looked at his ticket--before he finally claimed the prize, awkwardly feigning surprise. It was the same blue ticket placed in front of them at the start. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the outcome was predetermined. It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, especially at an event meant to celebrate such meaningful moments. I am happy for anyone winning an amazing honeymoon - but the fact that it was rigged to gift to someone predetermined soured my experience and trust in attending any future events. Beyond the disappointment in the moment, the implications of this are significant. Many brides came with genuine excitement and invested their time, under the impression that they had a fair chance at the prize. The rigged grand prize not only undermines that trust but also damages the credibility of the organizers and participating vendors. I was not the only witness. For upcoming bridal shows, I will not be attending any run by this company - and I highly advise any brides attending or thinking of it to come in with the expectation that the main prize is likely someone the staff knows or has prearranged with to win.
