L&H Bridal is truly a special place…read more The staff are all so friendly and treat you like you are their own daughter getting married. I worked with my consultant Allie who is phenomenal. I had a somewhat vague explanation of the style and inspiration and Allie whips out the most perfect dress. Of course, I tried a few others but the first one she nabbed for me to try was the winner! Allie went above and beyond to take photos so that I could include my older brother who was unable to attend. If you are looking for another style, the staff don't hestiate on going to their other locations to grab a dress for you to try on. The ballroom is large and you don't get overwhelmed since the dresses are all so well organized. The selection is massive with all colors, styles, and aesthetics accounted for. If you are in Philadelphia or the suburbs of Philadelphia, honestly this is the only bridal salon you need to visit! I absolutely loved my experience here for getting my wedding dress and wholeheartedly recommend.

Where to start... (worth the read from someone who purchased their dress at this awful place)…read more My first visit to L&H was fabulous with Tara - she helped me find my dress, and made the entire process enjoyable (she knew exactly what I wanted after asking all the right questions). However, the great experience stopped there. I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses through L&H, but when they came in, they were a completely different color. The manager assured me that they would work with the manufacturer to have them reshipped quickly, with a deadline of a month before my wedding (3 of my bridesmaids lived out of town)... that did not happen, and I had to be the one to call continuously asking where they were, until they finally came in just 3 weeks from my wedding (oh, and they still weren't the correct color, but at this point, there was nothing I could do). This is where it all went downhill. I had the WORST experience having my dress fitted. Lucy, the seamstress (who I later figured out was the OWNER), was rude every time I went in there, made my dress fit worse than it originally fit, and made awful body shaming comments to me and 3 of my bridesmaids). Needless to say, I couldn't complain to the owner... My first fitting: Lucy came in for a solid 3 minutes. I asked her to make the bra area smaller to fit my small chest, and she told me to wear cutlets... she then pinned me where I asked her to take it out around my stomach, and bring up the straps somewhat. Then left. I was in and out in 10 minutes. My second fitting: I brought my two bridesmaids thinking their dresses would be in, as it was past the date they promised.. they were not in. My dress fit WORSE than when it first came in. She had not taken anything out of the waist and took the straps in so much that I could barely fit them over my shoulders. I expressed my concern and then sent a detailed email showing how the dress fit at my first fitting, to then, so that she could fix it properly. I was now less than a month out from my wedding and very distraught, but figured I would give them another shot. My third fitting (I requested this one because they wanted me to come back just for a final fitting a week before the wedding, but I did not trust that it would actually fit). At this point, I tried on my dress and noticed where it had been taken out- it was bumpy (I had light beading), so I asked if I could talk to Lucy... in which she came in and said "what's wrong now?". To the BRIDE. I asked her if she had finished taking out my dress, or if she still had to do so, to which she responded "it is done, that is the best I could do", and I explained and showed her that it did not lay flat, that it looked bad, and you could tell it had been taken out. She said again "that is the best I could do, it will lay flatter after it is pressed", turned around, and walked out. I was appalled, but at this point did not want her touching my dress again. I was too scared to complain to anyone or ask her to fix it because I was honestly worried she would do something to mess it up further. I asked around and found another seamstress who could help if I came back in and it still looked bad. Lucy (the owner) also asked my bridesmaid "what she was going to do with what little boobs she had" when she asked to have it adjusted (again, basically telling her to wear a bra), and made my other bridesmaid cry after asking her "what she planned on doing with all her fat" and told her to wear Spanx, when she was 2 months postpartum. Lucy also tailored two of the bridesmaid dresses and made them fit worse than when they originally tried them on (there is a theme here). The shop would not refund them the money. RUN from this place. They made an experience that was supposed to be wonderful, absolutely dreadful.

Throughout life, we experience several life-changing events, but once you find your person, your…read morewedding day is quite possibly one of the most memorable and important ones. Even if the celebration is small and intimate, we still try our best to make it as perfect as it can be and, in my opinion, the person you choose to officiate that marriage is, by far, one of the most essential details. I got married to my best friend just a few days ago, and I am leaving this review because I am beyond grateful to have had the chance to meet Michael and have him officiate our ceremony. My husband and I aren't the most typical; we are both nerds, both introverts, and both neurodivergent. We aimed for our wedding to represent us in every possible way, and to be totally honest, before we met Michael, we struggled to find an officiant who understood us and gave us the feeling we were in good hands. Michael not only took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, but he also went above and beyond to tailor his speech to perfection. He found the exact words to make us feel seen, amused, understood, and absolutely happy. He even researched the videogame I met my husband in and used a few of the beautiful phrases our favorite characters say. As if that weren't impressive enough, he was the very first person to arrive at the ceremony, looking sharp in his suit, ready for anything that came our way. Did you forget a ring box? No worries, he had one. Would your makeup get ruined with all the tears? Fear not. He had Q-tips and tissues in every pocket. For those who get the reference, his suit was like Mary Poppins bag. He also made sure we were calm, relaxed, and happy before stepping outside the bridal room and helped us with all introductions and announcements. Throughout the entire event, and even before that, communication was smooth, prompt, and transparent. I could keep going about how impressed and grateful we are to have hired him, but I believe this review says we absolutely recommend him clearly enough.

Arriving early to multiple locations the day of...the relief I felt when I saw you pull up I knew we were going to have a fantastic day. You are incredibly organized, thoughtful, calm and fun!! When our hand fasting cord got left behind, you went running mid ceremony to find it even tho you didn't have to..only taking maybe 2 min to find it amongst all the craziness of wedding decor, boxes, bridesmaids bags and who only knows what else!!...then running it out to our outdoor ceremony (those longs legs help!) I believe you knew where more things were than any of us did the day of!! My husband, so grateful for your humor and professionalism was beyond thankful when you would fix his boutonnière and in the moment tell him things to help keep everything going smoothly...like not to hug people wearing makeup the way he was bc he's so tall too, that they were smearing all over his suit but you pulled out a shout wipe, cleaned him up and kept it moving. Communication from our first phone call all the way through after the wedding was impeccable. We had a blast doing all of our photos, you keep it light and fun so everyone can relax and you can get the shots we wanted, to have our wedding day story told so beautifully. Really we couldn't be happier and more amazed by you! Thank you for so much and for helping to give us a FANTASTIC day. Would love to work with you again, even hang out with you as friends, you felt like family

While the venue was beautiful and the…read morevendors were kind and engaging, I was deeply disappointed by the apparent lack of integrity in the way the main raffle--the event's primary draw--was conducted. At the start of the raffle, I observed a blonde staff member quietly place a ticket in front of a bride seated beside me, who showed no reaction. That bride later handed the ticket to her fiancé. At the end of the event, the same staff member returned to announce the honeymoon winner, reading a pre-drawn ticket number. The bride and her mother nudged the fiancé--who hadn't even looked at his ticket--before he finally claimed the prize, awkwardly feigning surprise. It was the same blue ticket placed in front of them at the start. This sequence of events strongly suggests that the outcome was predetermined. It is extremely disappointing to witness such a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, especially at an event meant to celebrate such meaningful moments. I am happy for anyone winning an amazing honeymoon - but the fact that it was rigged to gift to someone predetermined soured my experience and trust in attending any future events. Beyond the disappointment in the moment, the implications of this are significant. Many brides came with genuine excitement and invested their time, under the impression that they had a fair chance at the prize. The rigged grand prize not only undermines that trust but also damages the credibility of the organizers and participating vendors. I was not the only witness. For upcoming bridal shows, I will not be attending any run by this company - and I highly advise any brides attending or thinking of it to come in with the expectation that the main prize is likely someone the staff knows or has prearranged with to win.

The planners, Erin and Starr, were so professional and concerned about the needs of us which was so great that we got in touch with the best vendors that literally went out of their way. The caterer Jeffrey Miller Hospitality impressed us and our guests by their splendid professionalism and outstanding cuisine. With prompt service to paying little to no attention to special dietary needs, their staff made sure that you got the best, and the best was served with charm (and no doubt, with a tip or two). Our guests can rave all over the wonderful food and perfect appearance! The florist, Perkasie Florist shocked with the amazing sets that suited the theme precisely. In addition to their luxurious flower arrangements, their crew was extremely accommodating, and came to work very early to fix and set up and was very able to compromise and make changes to their arrangements last minute and kept everything stress free. Asya Photography our photographer was easygoing, polite, and discrete all though out the day and she took breathtaking photographs based upon which our actual story is manifested. They made group photos run easily and they managed to make people natural and happy and it actually comes out of the photos (natural looking and happy faces). Inn Keeper Marina was absolute treasure, she was endlessly considerate and brilliantly welcoming, and as a result, the weekend was a great experience with no one feeling unloved or unwelcome. In general, professionism, reliability and true care of all vendors recommended and organized by Erin and Starr make it a smooth and blissful experience with our friends and family. We could not ask anything better organizing our special day: the team and the venue were too good!
