Alisha & Sarah were helpful and kind, the dresses they pulled were or variety and what she wanted. An Azazie dress of original cost: $500 never worn was marked down to $450. My sister loved the dress & purchased it, we walked out the door and on the way to lunch I searched the dress to find Azazie (the original website the dress came from) for $149 with free shipping. My sister emailed them within the hour of leaving the store to explain the price decrease and how she paid over $300 more for the dress. The store offered no apology or resolution - and just stated- "Our policy states that all sales are final, we do not have a return policy. Unfortunately, we can't compete with the price fluctuation of other companies online. Our consignment gowns are all contracted, which means the price that we agreed on with the consignor at the time it was brought in is the price it remains at." This has really started off my sister's bridal journey on a bad note and we definitely want future brides shopping here to price match the gowns before paying any money to Something Borrowed. It's a shame they couldn't provide store credit, offer a price match or give a return for this circumstance. You would think a small business would be willing to work with a client. We did plan to return to future shopping but will DEFINITELY not be going back.

I knew it had to be altered to make it shorter so it wouldn't drag on the ground. I was searching for a place to get it altered and someone recommended Alterations by Sammie on Facebook. I saw pictures on Facebook of Sammie's work basically remaking someone's wedding dress and it was AMAZING so I decided to make an appointment. Sammie was so friendly and professional and pinned everything to make sure I would be ok with the new length of the dress. Additionally, she noticed something in the back of the dress that she could alter to make it look even better on me. When I went to pick up the finished dress, I was completely floored. The dress looked FABULOUS and you wouldn't even be able to tell it had been altered in the first place. Sammie does absolutely amazing work and I wouldn't hesitate to go back whenever I needed anything altered. I was so impressed that my mom even went to get her pants for the wedding hemmed. Let me say that the quality of flowers is unmatched. The product that they are turning out here is fantastic and if you're unhappy with an arrangement or it fades too quickly, they will replace it with no hesitation due to their guarantee policy. I come at least once per week/every other week as I leave a bouquet of flowers on my sister's grave nearly every weekend. What's changed recently I feel is the level of customer service. I had been returning to this store for so long because I truly enjoyed the florist there Geoff. I haven't seen him in quite some time - not sure if he relocated or left the business - but the new staff doesn't have the same professionalism, kindness or presence that he had. It really makes a difference! I'll keep returning in the hopes that I see him again soon - everything he crafted was so beautiful and I just haven't had the same quality of product or experience since. The place just doesn't seem as taken care of or clean as it was when we used to see him there. I hope he's okay! He truly made this store special.
